Salmos 118
1 Agradeça a Yahweh, pois ele é bom, pois sua bondade amorosa perdura para sempre.
Praise yee the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
2 Deixe Israel dizer agora que sua bondade amorosa perdure para sempre.
Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth for euer.
3 Deixe agora a casa de Aaron dizer que sua bondade amorosa perdure para sempre.
Let the house of Aaron nowe say, That his mercy endureth for euer.
4 Agora deixe que aqueles que temem Yahweh digam que sua bondade amorosa perdure para sempre.
Let them, that feare the Lord, nowe say, That his mercie endureth for euer.
5 Por causa da minha angústia, invoquei o Yah. Yah me respondeu com liberdade.
I called vpon the Lord in trouble, and the Lord heard me, and set me at large.
6 Yahweh está do meu lado. Eu não terei medo. O que o homem pode fazer comigo?
The Lord is with mee: therefore I will not feare what man can doe vnto me.
7 Yahweh está do meu lado entre aqueles que me ajudam. Portanto, vou olhar em triunfo para aqueles que me odeiam.
The Lord is with mee among them that helpe me: therefore shall I see my desire vpon mine enemies.
8 É melhor refugiar-se em Yahweh, do que depositar confiança no homem.
It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in man.
9 É melhor se refugiar em Yahweh, do que depositar confiança nos príncipes.
It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in princes.
10 Todas as nações me cercaram, mas em nome de Yahweh, eu os cortei.
All nations haue compassed me: but in the Name of the Lord shall I destroy them.
11 Eles me cercaram, sim, eles me cercaram. Em nome de Yahweh, eu realmente os cortei.
They haue compassed mee, yea, they haue compassed mee: but in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.
12 Eles me cercaram como abelhas. Eles são extintos como os espinhos em chamas. Em nome de Yahweh, eu os cortei.
They came about mee like bees, but they were quenched as a fire of thornes: for in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.
13 You me empurrou para trás com força, para me fazer cair, mas Yahweh me ajudou.
Thou hast thrust sore at me, that I might fall: but the Lord hath holpen me.
14 Yah é minha força e meu canto. Ele se tornou minha salvação.
The Lord is my strength and song: for he hath beene my deliuerance.
15 A voz do júbilo e da salvação está nas tendas dos justos. “A mão direita de Yahweh faz valentemente.
The voice of ioy and deliuerance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
16 A mão direita de Yahweh está exaltada! A mão direita de Yahweh faz valentemente”!
The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
17 Não vou morrer, mas viver, e declarar as obras de Yah.
I shall not die, but liue, and declare the woorkes of the Lord.
18 Yah tem me punido severamente, mas ele não me entregou à morte.
The Lord hath chastened me sore, but he hath not deliuered me to death.
19 Abra para mim os portões da retidão. Eu entrarei neles. Vou dar graças a Yah.
Open ye vnto me the gates of righteousnes, that I may goe into them, and praise the Lord.
20 Esta é a porta de entrada de Yahweh; os justos entrarão nela.
This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it.
21 Agradeço a vocês, pois me responderam, e se tornaram minha salvação.
I will praise thee: for thou hast heard mee, and hast beene my deliuerance.
22 A pedra que os construtores rejeitaram tornou-se a pedra angular.
The stone, which the builders refused, is the head of the corner.
23 Isto é obra de Yahweh. É maravilhoso aos nossos olhos.
This was the Lordes doing, and it is marueilous in our eyes.
24 Este é o dia que Yahweh fez. Nós nos regozijaremos e nos alegraremos com isso!
This is the day, which the Lord hath made: let vs reioyce and be glad in it.
25 Salva-nos agora, imploramos-te, Yahweh! Yahweh, nós lhe imploramos, envie agora a prosperidade.
O Lord, I praie thee, saue now: O Lord, I praie thee nowe giue prosperitie.
26 Abençoado seja aquele que vem em nome de Iavé! Nós o abençoamos fora da casa de Yahweh.
Blessed be he, that commeth in the Name of the Lord: wee haue blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 Yahweh é Deus, e ele nos deu luz. Amarrar o sacrifício com cordas, mesmo aos chifres do altar.
The Lord is mightie, and hath giuen vs light: binde the sacrifice with cordes vnto the hornes of the altar.
28 Você é meu Deus, e eu lhe darei graças. Você é meu Deus, eu o exaltarei.
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee, euen my God: therefore I will exalt thee.
29 Oh agradeça a Javé, pois ele é bom, pois sua bondade amorosa perdura para sempre.
Praise ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
