1 Przewodnikowi chóru. Psalm Dawida. Niech cię wysłucha PAN w dniu utrapienia, niech cię chroni imię Boga Jakuba.

To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. Yahweh answer thee, in the day of distress, The Name of the God of Jacob give thee safety;

2 Niech ci ześle pomoc ze świątyni i niech cię wesprze z Syjonu.

Send thy help out of the sanctuary, and, out of Zion, sustain thee;

3 Niech pamięta wszystkie twoje ofiary i niech przyjmie twoje całopalenia. (Sela)

Remember every present of thine, and, thine ascending-sacrifice, esteem. (Selah)

4 Niech da ci [wszystko], czego pragnie twoje serce, i każdy twój zamysł niech wypełni.

Give thee according to thy heart, and, all thy purposes, fulfil.

5 Będziemy się radować z twojego zbawienia i w imię naszego Boga sztandary podniesiemy. Niech PAN spełni wszystkie twoje prośby.

We will shout aloud in thy salvation, and, in the Name of our God, shall we become great, Yahweh fulfil all thy petitions.

6 Teraz wiem, że PAN wybawia swego pomazańca, wysłucha go ze swego świętego nieba zbawczą mocą swojej prawicy.

Now, do I know that Yahweh, hath saved, his Anointed One, —He answereth him out of his holy heavens, by the mighty saving deeds of his own right hand.

7 Jedni [pokładają ufność] w rydwanach, inni w koniach, lecz my będziemy wspominać imię PANA, naszego Boga.

These, by chariots, and, those, by horses, but, we, by the Name of Yahweh our God, will prevail.

8 Tamci zachwiali się i upadli, a my powstaliśmy i ostoimy się.

They, have bowed down and fallen, but, we, have arisen, and stand upright.

9 PANIE, wybaw [nas], a król niech nas wysłucha w dniu naszego wołania.

Yahweh, hath saved the king. Answer us, then, on the day when we call.
