Psalmów 24

1 Psalm Dawida. Do PANA należy ziemia i wszystko, co ją napełnia, świat i jego mieszkańcy.

David’s. A Melody. To Yahweh, belongeth, The earth and the fulness thereof, The world, and they who dwell therein;

2 Na morzach bowiem ugruntował go i utwierdził na rzekach.

For, he, upon the seas, hath founded it, and upon the currents, doth make it firm.

3 Któż wstąpi na górę PANA? Kto stanie w jego świętym miejscu?

Who shall ascend the mountain of Yahweh? And who shall stand in his holy place?

4 [Człowiek] rąk nieskalanych i czystego serca, który nie skłania swej duszy ku marności i nie przysięga podstępnie.

The clean of hands, and pure of heart, —who hath not uplifted, to falsehood, his soul, nor sworn deceitfully,

5 On otrzyma błogosławieństwo od PANA i sprawiedliwość od Boga, swego Zbawiciela.

Shall bear away a blessing from Yahweh, and righteousness, from his delivering God.

6 To jest pokolenie tych, którzy go szukają, którzy szukają twego oblicza, [Boże] Jakuba. (Sela)

This, is the generation of them who inquire of him, who seek thy face, O God of Jacob. (Selah)

7 Podnieście, o bramy, wasze głowy; podnieście się, wrota odwieczne, aby wszedł Król chwały.

Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, and lift yourselves up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.

8 Któż jest tym Królem chwały? PAN mocny i potężny, PAN potężny w boju.

Who is the king of glory? Yahweh, strong and mighty, Yahweh, mighty in war.

9 Podnieście, o bramy, wasze głowy; podnieście się, wrota odwieczne, aby wszedł Król chwały.

Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, yea lift [them] up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.

10 Któż jest tym Królem chwały? PAN zastępów, on [jest] Królem chwały. (Sela)

Who then is the king of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He, is the king of glory. (Selah)
