1 Potem odszedł Jezus za morze Galilejskie, które jest Tyberyjadzkie;
After these thinges Iesus wet his waye over the see of Galile nye to a cyte called Tiberias.
2 I szedł za nim lud wielki, iż widzieli cuda jego, które czynił nad chorymi.
And a greate multitude folowed him because they had sene his myracles which he dyd on them that were diseased.
3 I wszedł Jezus na górę, i siedział tam z uczniami swoimi;
And Iesus went vp into a mountayne and there he sate with his disciples.
4 A była blisko wielkanoc, święto żydowskie.
And ester a feast of ye Iewes was nye.
5 Tedy podniósł Jezus oczy i ujrzawszy, iż wielki lud idzie do niego, rzekł do Filipa: Skąd kupimy chleba, aby ci jedli?
Then Iesus lifte vp his eyes and sawe a greate copany come vnto him and sayde vnto Philip: whence shall we bye breed yt these might eate.
6 (Ale to mówił, kusząc go; bo on wiedział, co miał czynić.)
This he sayde to prove him: for he him sylfe knewe what he wolde do.
7 Odpowiedział mu Filip: Za dwieście groszy chleba nie dosyć im będzie, choćby każdy z nich mało co wziął.
Philip answered him two hondred peny worthe of breed are not sufficient for them yt every ma have a litell.
8 Rzekł mu jeden z uczniów jego, Andrzej, brat Szymona Piotra:
Then sayde vnto him one of his disciples Andrew Simon Peters brother.
9 Jest tu jedno pacholę, co ma pięcioro chleba jęczmiennego i dwie rybki; ale cóż to jest na tak wielu?
There ys a lad here which hath fyve barly loves and two fisshes: but what is that amoge so many?
10 Tedy rzekł Jezus: Każcie ludowi usiąść. A było trawy dość na onemże miejscu, i usiadło mężów w liczbie około pięciu tysięcy.
And Iesus sayde. Make the people sit doune: Ther was moche grasse in the place. And the men sate doune in nombre about five thousande.
11 Wziął tedy Jezus one chleby, a podziękowawszy rozdał uczniom, a uczniowie siedzącym; także i z onych rybek, ile jedno chcieli.
And Iesus toke the breed and gave thankes and gave to the disciples and his disciples to them that were set doune. And lykwyse of the fysshes as moche as they wolde.
12 A gdy byli nasyceni, rzekł uczniom swoim: Zbierzcie te ułomki, które zbywają, żeby nic nie zginęło.
When they had eate ynough he sayd vnto his disciples: gadder vp the broke meate that remayneth: that nothinge be loost.
13 I zebrali i napełnili dwanaście koszów ułomków z onego pięciorga chleba jęczmiennego, które zbywały tym, co jedli.
And they gadered it to geder and fylled twelve baskettes with the broken meate of the five barly loves which broken meate remayned vnto the that had eaten.
14 A oni ludzie, ujrzawszy cud, który uczynił Jezus, mówili: Tenci jest zaprawdę on prorok, który miał przyjść na świat.
Then the men when they had sene the myracle that Iesus dyd sayde: This is of a trueth the Prophet that shuld come into the worlde.
15 Tedy Jezus poznawszy, iż mieli przyjść i porwać go, aby go uczynili królem, uszedł zasię sam tylko na górę.
When Iesus perceaved that they wolde come and take him vp to make him kinge he departed agayne into a mountayne him silfe a lone.
16 A gdy był wieczór, zstąpili uczniowie jego do morza.
And when eve was come his disciples wet vnto the see
17 A wstąpiwszy w łódź, jechali za morze do Kapernaum, a już było ciemno, a Jezus nie przyszedł był do nich.
and entred into a shyppe and went over the see vnto Capernaum. And anone it was darcke and Iesus was not come to them.
18 A morze, gdy powstał wielki wiatr, burzyć się poczynało.
And ye see arose with a greate winde yt blew.
19 Gdy tedy odpłynęli jakoby na dwadzieścia i pięć lub trzydzieści stajan, ujrzeli Jezusa chodzącego po morzu, przybliżającego się ku łodzi, i ulękli się.
And when they had rowe aboute a. xxv. or a xxx. furlonges they sawe Iesus walke on ye see and drawe nye vnto the shyp and they were afrayed.
20 A on im rzekł: Jamci jest, nie bójcie się.
And he sayde vnto them: It is I be not a frayde.
21 I wzięli go ochotnie do łodzi, a zarazem łódź przypłynęła do ziemi, do której jechali.
Then wolde they have receaved him into the shyp and the ship was by and by at the londe whyther they went.
22 Nazajutrz lud, który był za morzem, widząc, że tam nie było drugiej łodzi, tylko ona jedna, w którą byli wstąpili uczniowie jego, a iż Jezus nie wszedł był w łódź z uczniami swoimi, ale sami uczniowie jego ujechali;
The daye folowynge the people which stode on the other syde of the see sawe that ther was none other shyp theare save yt one wher in his disciples were entred and that Iesus went not in with his disciples into the ship: but that his disciples were gone awaye alone.

How be it ther came other shippes from Tiberias nye vnto the place where they ate breed when the Lorde had blessed.
24 To gdy obaczył lud, iż tam nie było Jezusa, ani uczniów jego, wstąpili i oni w łodzie i przeprawili się do Kapernaum, szukając Jezusa;
Then whe the people sawe that Iesus was not there nether his disciples they also toke shippinge and came to Caparnaum sekinge for Iesus.
25 A znalazłszy go za morzem, rzekli mu: Mistrzu! kiedyś tu przybył?
And when they had founde him on ye other syde of ye see they sayd vnto him: Rabbi whe camest thou hidder?
26 Odpowiedział im Jezus i rzekł: Zaprawdę, zaprawdę powiadam wam: Szukacie mię nie przeto, iżeście widzieli cuda, ale iżeście jedli chleb, i byliście nasyceni.
Iesus answered them and sayde: verely verely I saye vnto you: ye seke me not because ye sawe the myracles: but because ye ate of the loves and were filled.
27 Sprawujcież nie pokarm, który ginie, ale pokarm, który trwa ku żywotowi wiecznemu, który wam da Syn człowieczy; albowiem tego zapieczętował Bóg Ojciec. (aiōnios g166)
Laboure not for ye meate which perissheth but for ye meate that endureth vnto everlastynge lyfe whiche meate ye sonne of ma shall geve vnto you. For him hath god ye father sealed. (aiōnios g166)
28 Rzekli tedy do niego: Cóż będziemy czynili, abyśmy sprawowali sprawy Boże?
Then sayd they vnto him: what shall we do that we myght worke ye workes of God?
29 Odpowiedział Jezus i rzekł im: Toć jest sprawa Boża, abyście wierzyli w tego, którego on posłał.
Iesus answered and sayde vnto them. This is ye worke of God that ye beleve on him who he hath sent.
30 Rzekli mu tedy: Cóż wżdy ty za znak czynisz, abyśmy widzieli i wierzyli tobie? Cóż czynisz?
They sayde vnto him: what signe shewest thou then that we maye se and beleve the? What doest thou worke?
31 Ojcowie nasi jedli mannę na puszczy, jako jest napisano: Chleb z nieba dał im ku jedzeniu.
Oure fathers dyd eate Manna in the desert as yt is writte: He gave them breed fro heaven to eate.
32 Rzekł im tedy Jezus: Zaprawdę, zaprawdę powiadam wam: Nie Mojżesz wam dał chleb z nieba, ale Ojciec mój daje wam chleb on prawdziwy z nieba.
Iesus sayde vnto the: verely verely I saye vnto you: Moses gave you breed fro heave: but my father geveth you the true breed fro heave.
33 Albowiem chleb Boży ten jest, który zstępuje z nieba i żywot daje światu.
For the breed of God is he which cometh doune from heave and geveth lyfe vnto the worlde.
34 Tedy mu rzekli: Panie! daj nam zawsze tego chleba.
Then sayde they vnto him: Lorde ever moore geve vs this breed.
35 I rzekł im Jezus: Jamci jest on chleb żywota; kto do mnie przychodzi, łaknąć nie będzie, a kto wierzy w mię, nigdy pragnąć nie będzie.
And Iesus sayde vnto them: I am that breed of life. He that cometh to me shall not honger: and he that beleveth on me shall never thurst.
36 Alem wam powiedział: Owszem, widzieliście mię, a nie wierzycie.
But I sayed vnto you: that ye have sene me aud yet beleve not.
37 Wszystko, co mi daje Ojciec, do mnie przyjdzie, a tego, co do mnie przyjdzie, nie wyrzucę precz.
All that the father geveth me shall come to me: and him yt cometh to me I cast not awaye.
38 Bom zstąpił z nieba, nie iżbym czynił wolę moję, ale wolę onego, który mię posłał.
For I came doune fro heaven: not to do myne awne will but his will which hath sent me.
39 A tać jest wola onego, który mię posłał, Ojca, abym z tego wszystkiego, co mi dał, nic nie stracił, ale abym to wzbudził w on ostateczny dzień.
And this is the fathers will which hath sent me that of all which he hath geven me I shuld loose no thinge: but shuld rayse it vp agayne at the last daye.
40 A tać jest wola onego, który mię posłał, aby każdy, kto widzi Syna, a wierzy weń, miał żywot wieczny; a ja go wzbudzę w on ostateczny dzień. (aiōnios g166)
And this is the wyll of him yt sent me: yt every man which seith ye sonne and beleveth on him have everlastinge lyfe. And I will rayse him vp at ye last daye. (aiōnios g166)
41 I szemrali Żydowie o nim, iż rzekł: Jam jest on chleb, który z nieba zstąpił.
The Iewes then murmured at him because he sayde: I am that breed which is come doune from heaven.
42 I mówili: Izaż ten nie jest Jezus, syn Józefa, którego my ojca i matkę znamy; jakoż teraz tedy ten powiada: Żem z nieba zstąpił?
And they sayde: Is not this Iesus ye sonne of Ioseph whose father and mother we knowe? How ys yt then that he sayeth I came doune from heave?
43 Tedy odpowiedział Jezus i rzekł im: Nie szemrzyjcie między sobą.
Iesus answered and sayde vnto them. Murmur not betwene youre selves.
44 Żaden do mnie przyjść nie może, jeźli go Ojciec mój, który mię posłał, nie pociągnie; a ja go wzbudzę w ostateczny dzień.
No man can come to me except the father which hath sent me drawe him. And I will rayse him vp at the last daye.
45 Napisano w prorokach: I będą wszyscy wyuczeni od Boga; przetoż każdy, kto słyszał od Ojca, a nauczył się, przychodzi do mnie.
It is written in the Prophetes yt they shall all be taught of God. Every man therfore that hath hearde and hath learned of the father commeth vnto me.
46 Nie iżby kto widział Ojca, oprócz tego, który jest od Boga; ten widział Ojca.
Not that eny man hath sene ye father save he which is of God: the same hath sene the father.
Verely verely I saye vnto you he that beleveth on me hath everlastinge lyfe. (aiōnios g166)
48 Jam jest on chleb żywota.
I am that breed of lyfe.
49 Ojcowie wasi jedli mannę na puszczy, a pomarli.
Youre fathers dyd eate Mana in ye wildernes and are deed.
50 Ten jest on chleb, który z nieba zstępuje; jeźliby go kto jadł, nie umrze.
This is that breed which cometh fro heave yt he which eateth of it shuld also not dye.
51 Jamci jest chleb on żywy, którym z nieba zstąpił: jeźliby kto jadł z tego chleba, żyć będzie na wieki; a chleb, który ja dam, jest ciało moje, które ja dam za żywot świata. (aiōn g165)
I am that lyvinge breed which came doune from heave. Yf eny man eate of this breed he shall live forever. And the breed that I will geve is my flesshe which I will geve for the lyfe of ye worlde (aiōn g165)
52 Wadzili się tedy Żydowie między sobą, mówiąc: Jakoż ten może nam dać ciało swoje ku jedzeniu?
And the Iewes strove amoge them selves sayinge: How can this felowe geve vs his flesshe to eate?
53 I rzekł im Jezus: Zaprawdę, zaprawdę powiadam wam: Jeźli nie będziecie jedli ciała Syna człowieczego, i pili krwi jego, nie macie żywota w sobie.
Then Iesus sayde vnto them: Verely verely I saye vnto you except ye eate ye flesshe of ye sonne of man and drinke his bloude ye shall not have lyfe in you
54 Kto je ciało moje, a pije krew moję, ma żywot wieczny, a ja go wzbudzę w on ostateczny dzień. (aiōnios g166)
Whosoever eateth my flesshe and drinketh my bloude hath eternall lyfe: and I will rayse him vp at the last daye. (aiōnios g166)
55 Albowiem ciało moje prawdziwie jest pokarm, a krew moja prawdziwie jest napój.
For my flesshe is meate in dede: and my bloude is drynke in dede.
56 Kto je ciało moje i pije krew moję, we mnie mieszka, a ja w nim.
He that eateth my flesshe and drynketh my bloude dwelleth in me and I in him.
57 Jako mię posłał żyjący Ojciec, i ja żyję przez Ojca; tak kto mnie pożywa, i on żyć będzie przez mię.
As the lyvinge father hath sent me even so lyve I by my father: and he that eateth me shall live by me.
58 Tenci jest chleb on, który z nieba zstąpił, nie jako ojcowie wasi jedli mannę, a pomarli; kto je ten chleb, żyć będzie na wieki. (aiōn g165)
This is the breed which cam from heave: not as youre fathers have eaten Manna and are deed. He that eateth of this breed shall live ever. (aiōn g165)
59 To mówił w bóżnicy, ucząc w Kapernaum.
These thinges sayd he in the synagoge as he taught in Capernaum.
60 Wiele ich tedy z uczniów jego słysząc to, mówili: Twardać to jest mowa, któż jej słuchać może?
Many of his disciples when they had herde this sayde: this is an herde sayinge: who can abyde the hearinge of it?
61 Ale wiedząc Jezus sam w sobie, iż o tem szemrali uczniowie jego, rzekł im: Toż was obraża?
Iesus knew in him selfe that his disciples murmured at it and sayde vnto them: Doth this offende you?
62 Cóż, gdybyście ujrzeli Syna człowieczego wstępującego, gdzie był pierwej?
What and yf ye shall se the sonne of man ascede vp where he was before?
63 Duchci jest, który ożywia, ciało nic nie pomaga; słowa, które ja wam mówię, duch są i żywot są.
It is the sprete that quyckeneth the flesshe proffeteth nothinge. The wordes that I speake vnto you are sprete and lyfe.
64 Ale są niektórzy z was, co nie wierzą; albowiem wiedział od początku Jezus, którzy byli, co nie wierzyli, i kto jest, co go miał wydać;
But ther are some of you that beleve not. For Iesus knewe from the begynnynge which they were that beleved not and who shuld betraye him.
65 I mówił: Dlategomci wam powiedział: Iż żaden nie może przyjść do mnie, jeźliby mu nie było dane od Ojca mojego.
And he sayde: Therfore sayde I vnto you: that no man can come vnto me except it were geven vnto him of my father.
66 Od tego czasu wiele uczniów jego odeszło nazad, a więcej z nim nie chodzili.
From that tyme many of his disciples wet backe and walked no moore with him.
67 Tedy rzekł Jezus do onych dwunastu: Izali i wy chcecie odejść?
Then sayde Iesus to the twelve: will ye alsoo goo awaye?
68 I odpowiedział mu Szymon Piotr: Panie! do kogóż pójdziemy? Ty masz słowa żywota wiecznego; (aiōnios g166)
Then Simon Peter answered: Master to whom shall we goo? Thou haste the wordes of eternall lyfe (aiōnios g166)
69 A myśmy uwierzyli i poznali, żeś ty jest Chrystus, on Syn Boga żywego.
and we beleve and knowe yt thou arte Christ the sonne of the lyvinge God.
70 Odpowiedział im Jezus: Izalim ja nie dwunastu was obrał? a jeden z was jest dyjabeł.
Iesus answered them: Have not I chosen you twelve and yet one of you is the devyll?
71 A to mówił o Judaszu, synu Szymona, Iszkaryjocie; bo go ten wydać miał, będąc jednym z onych dwunastu.
He spake it of Iudas Iscariot the sonne of Simon. For he it was yt shuld betraye him and was one of the twelve.
