< Psalms 76 >
1 KOT me indand mau ren Iuda, o mar a me linan ren men Ijrael.
[For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A Psalm by Asaph. A song.] In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel.
2 Tanpaj a im pwal mi nan Jalem, o tanpaj a mi Jion.
And his abode is in Salem, and his lair in Zion.
3 I waja a kotin katip pajan ia kananan kajik katieu, o pere, o kodlaj, O tatan mauin.
There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. (Selah)
4 Komui me linan o manaman jan dol en mauin kan.
Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.
5 Me aklapalap akan lodier on men kul akan o mela, o jaunpei komad karoj en kidi pa arail.
Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.
6 Main Kot en Iakop oj o war kin pupekidi omui majan akan.
At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep.
7 Komui meid kamajapwek. Ij me kak u mo’mui ni omui onion?
You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?
8 Ni omui kotin kajaledar omui kadeik jan nanlan, jappa ap majapwekadar o nenenlar,
You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,
9 Ni en Kot a kotidar, pwen kadeik, o jauaja me luet akan karoj nin jappa.
when God arose to judgment, to save all the afflicted ones of the earth. (Selah)
10 Pwe makar en aramaj kin kalinanada komui, o ma re pan pur on moromoron, luan omui onion pan itar on irail.
Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.
11 Komail inau on Ieowa omail Kot o kapwaiada. Komail karoj, me mi impa, wa don ren me kalom omail kijakij akan.
Make vows to the LORD your God, and fulfill them. Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.
12 I me pan atia jan jaupeidi kan ar komad, a meid kalom on nanmarki en jappa kan.
He humbles the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.
