دوم پادشاهان 7

1 الیشع جواب داد: «خداوند می‌فرماید که فردا همین وقت کنار دروازهٔ سامره با یک مثقال نقره می‌توانید سه کیلو آرد یا شش کیلو جو بخرید.»

and to say Elisha to hear: hear word LORD thus to say LORD like/as time tomorrow seah fine flour in/on/with shekel and seah barley in/on/with shekel in/on/with gate Samaria

2 افسری که ملتزم پادشاه بود، گفت: «حتی اگر خداوند از آسمان غله بفرستد، این که تو می‌گویی عملی نخواهد شد.» الیشع به او گفت: «تو با چشمان خود آن را خواهی دید، ولی از آن نخواهی خورد.»

and to answer [the] officer which to/for king to lean upon hand his [obj] man [the] God and to say behold LORD to make window in/on/with heaven to be [the] word: thing [the] this and to say look! you to see: see in/on/with eye your and from there not to eat

3 در این هنگام چهار مرد جذامی بیرون دروازهٔ شهر بودند. آنها به یکدیگر گفتند: «چرا اینجا بنشینیم و بمیریم؟

and four human to be be leprous entrance [the] gate and to say man: anyone to(wards) neighbor his what? we to dwell here till to die

4 چه اینجا بمانیم و چه وارد شهر شویم، از گرسنگی خواهیم مرد. پس چه بهتر که به اردوگاه سوری‌ها برویم. اگر گذاشتند زنده بمانیم چه بهتر و اگر ما را کشتند، باز هم فرقی نمی‌کند، چون دیر یا زود از گرسنگی خواهیم مرد.»

if to say to come (in): come [the] city and [the] famine in/on/with city and to die there and if to dwell here and to die and now to go: come! and to fall: fall to(wards) camp Syria if to live us to live and if to die us and to die

5 پس آن شب برخاسته، به اردوگاه سوری‌ها رفتند، ولی کسی آنجا نبود.

and to arise: rise in/on/with twilight to/for to come (in): come to(wards) camp Syria and to come (in): come till end camp Syria and behold nothing there man: anyone

6 چون خداوند صدای ارابه‌ها و اسبان و صدای لشکر عظیمی را در اردوی سوری‌ها پیچانده بود، به طوری که آنها فکر کرده بودند پادشاه اسرائیل پادشاهان حیت و مصر را اجیر کرده، تا به آنها حمله کنند؛

and Lord to hear: hear [obj] camp Syria voice: sound chariot voice: sound horse voice: sound strength: soldiers great: large and to say man: anyone to(wards) brother: compatriot his behold to hire upon us king Israel [obj] king [the] Hittite and [obj] king Egypt to/for to come (in): come upon us

7 پس هراسان شده، شبانه خیمه‌ها، اسبها، الاغها و چیزهای دیگر را که در اردوگاه بود گذاشته، از ترس جان خود فرار کرده بودند.

and to arise: rise and to flee in/on/with twilight and to leave: forsake [obj] tent their and [obj] horse their and [obj] donkey their [the] camp like/as as which he/she/it and to flee to(wards) soul: life their

8 جذامی‌ها وقتی به کنار اردوگاه رسیدند، به خیمه‌ها داخل شده، خوردند و نوشیدند و نقره و طلا و لباسی را که در خیمه بود با خود بردند و پنهان کردند. سپس وارد خیمهٔ دوم شده، اموال آن را نیز برداشتند و پنهان کردند.

and to come (in): come [the] be leprous [the] these till end [the] camp and to come (in): come to(wards) tent one and to eat and to drink and to lift: bear from there silver: money and gold and garment and to go: went and to hide and to return: return and to come (in): come to(wards) tent another and to lift: bear from there and to go: went and to hide

9 ولی بعد به یکدیگر گفتند: «ما کار خوبی نمی‌کنیم. نباید ساکت بنشینیم؛ باید این خبر خوش را به همه برسانیم. اگر تا فردا صبح صبر کنیم بلایی بر سرمان خواهد آمد. بیایید فوری برگردیم و این خبر خوش را به قصر پادشاه برسانیم.»

and to say man: anyone to(wards) neighbor his not right we to make: do [the] day: today [the] this day: today good news he/she/it and we be silent and to wait till light [the] morning and to find us iniquity: punishment and now to go: come! and to come (in): come and to tell house: household [the] king

10 پس آنها رفتند و آنچه را که اتفاق افتاده بود به نگهبانان دروازهٔ شهر خبر داده، گفتند: «ما به اردوگاه سوری‌ها رفتیم و کسی در آنجا نبود. اسبها و الاغها و خیمه‌ها سرجایشان بودند، ولی حتی یک نفر هم در آن حوالی دیده نمی‌شد.»

and to come (in): come and to call: call to to(wards) gatekeeper [the] city and to tell to/for them to/for to say to come (in): come to(wards) camp Syria and behold nothing there man: anyone and voice: listen man that if: except if: except [the] horse to bind and [the] donkey to bind and tent like/as as which they(masc.)

11 نگهبانان نیز این خبر را به دربار رساندند.

and to call: call to [the] gatekeeper and to tell house: household [the] king within

12 پادشاه از رختخوابش بیرون آمد و به افرادش گفت: «من به شما می‌گویم که چه شده است. سوری‌ها می‌دانند که ما گرسنه هستیم، پس برای اینکه ما را از شهر بیرون بکشند، از اردوگاه بیرون رفته، خود را در صحرا پنهان کرده‌اند. آنها در این فکر هستند که وقتی از شهر خارج شدیم به ما هجوم بیاورند و اسیرمان کنند و شهر را به تصرف خود درآورند.»

and to arise: rise [the] king night and to say to(wards) servant/slave his to tell please to/for you [obj] which to make: do to/for us Syria to know for hungry we and to come out: come from [the] camp to/for to hide (in/on/with land: country *Q(K)*) to/for to say for to come out: come from [the] city and to capture them alive and to(wards) [the] city to come (in): come

13 یکی از درباریان در جواب او گفت: «بهتر است چند نفر را با پنج اسبی که برای ما باقی مانده به آنجا بفرستیم و موضوع را تحقیق کنیم. مردم اینجا همه محکوم به مرگ هستند، پس بهتر است به هر قیمتی شده این را امتحان کنیم.»

and to answer one from servant/slave his and to say and to take: take please five from [the] horse [the] to remain which to remain in/on/with her behold they like/as all (crowd *Q(K)*) Israel which to remain in/on/with her look! they like/as all crowd Israel which to finish and to send: depart and to see: see

14 پس دو ارابه با اسبهای باقیمانده حاضر کردند و پادشاه چند نفر را فرستاد تا ببیند چه بر سر لشکر سوری آمده است.

and to take: take two chariot horse and to send: depart [the] king after camp Syria to/for to say to go: went and to see: see

15 آنها رد پای سوری‌ها را تا کنار رود اردن دنبال کردند. تمام جاده از لباس و ظروفی که سوری‌ها در حین فرار به زمین انداخته بودند، پر بود. مأموران بازگشتند و به پادشاه خبر دادند که سربازان سوری همه فرار کرده‌اند.

and to go: follow after them till [the] Jordan and behold all [the] way: road full garment and article/utensil which to throw Syria (in/on/with to hurry they *Q(K)*) and to return: return [the] messenger and to tell to/for king

16 به محض شنیدن این خبر، مردم سامره هجوم بردند و اردوگاه سوری‌ها را غارت کردند. پس همان‌گونه که خداوند فرموده بود، در آن روز سه کیلو آرد به یک مثقال نقره و شش کیلو جو به همان قیمت فروخته شد.

and to come out: come [the] people and to plunder [obj] camp Syria and to be seah fine flour in/on/with shekel and seah barley in/on/with shekel like/as word LORD

17 پادشاه ملتزم خود را دم دروازهٔ شهر گذاشت تا بر رفت و آمد مردم نظارت کند. ولی هنگامی که مردم هجوم آوردند، او زیر دست و پای آنها کشته شد، همان‌گونه که الیشع، وقتی پادشاه به خانهٔ او آمده بود، آن را پیشگویی کرد.

and [the] king to reckon: overseer [obj] [the] officer which to lean upon hand: power his upon [the] gate and to trample him [the] people in/on/with gate and to die like/as as which to speak: speak man [the] God which to speak: speak in/on/with to go down [the] king to(wards) him

18 الیشع به پادشاه گفته بود که روز بعد، کنار دروازهٔ شهر، شش کیلو جو و سه کیلو آرد هر یک به یک مثقال نقره فروخته خواهد شد.

and to be like/as to speak: speak man [the] God to(wards) [the] king to/for to say seah barley in/on/with shekel and seah fine flour in/on/with shekel to be like/as time tomorrow in/on/with gate Samaria

19 ولی ملتزم پادشاه جواب داده بود: «حتی اگر خداوند از آسمان غله بفرستد، این که تو می‌گویی عملی نخواهد شد.» و الیشع نیز به او گفته بود: «تو با چشمان خود آن را خواهی دید، ولی از آن نخواهی خورد.»

and to answer [the] officer [obj] man [the] God and to say and behold LORD to make window in/on/with heaven to be like/as Chronicles [the] this and to say look! you to see: see in/on/with eye your and from there not to eat

20 درست همین‌طور شد؛ او در کنار دروازه، زیر دست و پای مردم ماند و کشته شد.

and to be to/for him so and to trample [obj] him [the] people in/on/with gate and to die
