| پسران یساکار: تولاع، فوه، یاشوب، شمرون. | 1 |
And, to the sons of Issachar, belonged, Tola and Push, Jashib and Shimron, four.
| پسران تولاع که هر یک از آنها رئیس یک طایفه بود: عزی، رفایا، یری‌ئیل، یحمای، یبسام و سموئیل. در زمان داوود پادشاه، تعداد کل مردان جنگی این طایفه‌ها ۲۲٬۶۰۰ نفر بود. | 2 |
And, the sons of Tola, were Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, chiefs of their ancestral house, pertaining to Tola, heroes of valour, in their generations, —their number, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand and six hundred.
| یزرحیا پسر عزی بود. یزرحیا و چهار پسرش به نامهای میکائیل، عوبدیا، یوئیل و یشیا، هر یک رئیس طایفه‌ای بودند. | 3 |
And, the sons of Uzzi, Izrahiah, —and, the sons of Izrahiah, Michael and Obadiah and Joel, Isshiah—five, chiefs, all of them;
| آنها زنان و پسران زیادی داشتند به طوری که توانستند ۳۶٬۰۰۰ مرد برای خدمت سربازی بفرستند. | 4 |
and, with them by their generations, pertaining to their ancestral house, were bands of a host for war, thirty-six thousand, —for they had many wives and sons;
| تعداد کل مردانی که از قبیلهٔ یساکار برای خدمت سربازی آمادگی داشتند ۸۷٬۰۰۰ جنگجوی زبده بود که نام تمام آنها در نسب نامه نوشته شد. | 5 |
and, their brethren, of all the families of Issachar, heroes of great valour, were eighty-seven thousand, when they had, all, registered themselves.
| پسران بنیامین اینها بودند: بالع، باکر و یدی‌ئیل. | 6 |
Benjamin, Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.
| پسران بالع: اصبون، عزی، عزی‌ئیل، یریموت، عیری. این پنج نفر رئیس طایفه بودند. تعداد سربازان این طوایف به ۲۲٬۰۳۴ نفر می‌رسید که نام آنها در نسب نامه نوشته شد. | 7 |
And, the sons of Bela, Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five, chiefs of the ancestral house, heroes of great valour, —who, when they had registered themselves, were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four,
| پسران باکر: زمیره، یوعاش، الیعازار، الیوعینای، عمری، یریموت، ابیا، عناتوت و علمت. | 8 |
And, the sons of Becher, Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri, and Jeremoth and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these, were sons of Becher.
| تعداد سربازان این طایفه به ۲۰٬۲۰۰ نفر می‌رسید که نام آنها همراه نام رؤسای طوایف در نسب نامه ثبت شد. | 9 |
And, when they had registered themselves by their generations, the chiefs of their ancestral house, the heroes of valour, were twenty thousand and two hundred.
| بلهان پسر یدیع‌ئیل بود. پسران بلهان اینها بودند: یعیش، بنیامین، ایهود، کنعنه، زیتان، ترشیش و اخیشاحر. | 10 |
And, the sons of Jediael, Bilhan, —and, the sons of Bilhan, Jeish and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahah.
| اینها رؤسای طوایف یدیع‌ئیل بودند که ۱۷٬۲۰۰ مرد جنگی داشتند. | 11 |
All these—sons of Jediael, by ancestral chiefs, heroes of great valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready to go forth as a host to war: —
| شوفی‌ها و حوفی‌ها از نسل عیر بودند و حوشی‌ها از نسل احیر. | 12 |
Shuppim also and Huppim, sons of Ir, Hushim sons of Aher.
| پسران نفتالی: یحصی‌ئیل، جونی، یصر و شلوم. (اینها نوه‌های بلهه، کنیز یعقوب بودند.) | 13 |
the sons of Naphtali, Jahziel and Guni, and Jezer and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.
| پسران منسی که از کنیز او که ارامی بود، به دنیا آمدند، اسرئیل و ماخیر (پدر جلعاد) بودند. | 14 |
The sons of Manasseh, Asriel, whom, [his wife] bare, —his concubine, the Syrian, bare Machir the father of Gilead;
| ماخیر از میان شوفی‌ها و حوفی‌ها برای خود زن گرفت. او خواهری به نام معکه داشت. صلفحاد یکی دیگر از فرزندان منسی بود که فقط چند دختر داشت. | 15 |
and, Machir, took a wife pertaining to Huppim and Shuppim, and, the name of his sister, was Maacah, and, the name of the second, Zelophehad, —and, Zelophehad, had, daughters.
| زن ماخیر که او هم معکه نام داشت پسری زایید و نام او را فارش گذاشتند. اسم برادرش شارش بود و پسرانش اولام و راقم نام داشتند. | 16 |
So then Maacah, wife of Machir, bare a son, and called his name Peresh, and, the name of his brother, was Sheresh, —and, his sons, were Ulam and Rakem;
| بدان پسر اولام بود. اینها پسران جلعاد، نوه‌های ماخیر و نبیره‌های منسی بودند. | 17 |
and, the sons of Ulam, Bedan. These, were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh.
| همولکه (خواهر جلعاد) سه پسر به دنیا آورد به نامهای: ایشهود، ابیعزر و محله. | 18 |
And, his sister, Hammolecheth, bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.
| اخیان، شکیم، لقحی، انیعام پسران شمیداع بودند. | 19 |
And, the sons of Shemida, were Ahian and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
| نسل افرایم به ترتیب عبارت بودند از: شوتالح، بارد، تحت، العادا، تحت، زاباد، شوتالح، عازر و العاد. العاد و عازر قصد داشتند گله‌های جتی‌ها را که در آن سرزمین ساکن بودند غارت کنند، ولی به دست روستایی‌های آنجا کشته شدند. | 20 |
And, the sons of Ephraim, Shuthelah, —and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son;
| 21 |
and Zabad his son and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead, —but the men of Gath who had been born in the land slew them, because they had come down to take away their cattle.
| پدرشان افرایم مدت زیادی برای آنها ماتم گرفت و اقوامش به دلداری او آمدند. | 22 |
And Ephraim their father mourned many days, —and his brethren came to comfort him.
| پس از آن، زن افرایم حامله شده پسری زایید و به یاد آن مصیبت نام او را بریعه (یعنی «فاجعه») گذاشتند. | 23 |
And he went in unto his wife, and she conceived, and bare a son, —and he called his name, Beriah, because, in misfortune, was she in his house.
| نام دختر افرایم، شیره بود. شیره، بیت‌حورون پایین و بالا و اوزین شیره را بنا کرد. | 24 |
And, his daughter, was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper, —and Uzzen-sheerah.
| افرایم پسر دیگری داشت به نام رافح که نسل او عبارت بودند از: راشف، تالح، تاحن، | 25 |
And Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son, —
| لعدان، عمیهود، الیشمع، | 26 |
Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son, —
| نون و یوشع. | 27 |
Non his son, Joshua his son.
| ناحیه‌ای که آنها در آن زندگی می‌کردند شامل بیت‌ئیل و روستاهای اطرافش بود که از طرف شرق تا نعران و از سمت غرب تا جازر و روستاهای حوالی آن امتداد می‌یافت. شهرهای دیگر این ناحیه شکیم و ایه با دهکده‌های اطراف آنها بودند. | 28 |
And, their possessions, and their dwellings, were Bethel, and the villages thereof; and, eastward, Naaran, and, westward, Gezer, and the villages thereof, and Shechem, and the villages thereof, —as far as Aiyah, and the villages thereof; —
| قبیلهٔ منسی که از نسل یوسف پسر یعقوب بودند، شهرهای زیر و نواحی اطراف آنها را در اختیار داشتند: بیت‌شان، تعناک، مجدو و دُر. | 29 |
and, on the sides of the sons of Manasseh, Beth-shean and the villages thereof, Taanach and the villages thereof, Megiddo and the villages thereof, Dor and the villages thereof. In these, dwelt the sons of Joseph, son of Israel.
| پسران اشیر عبارت بودند از: یمنه، یشوه، یشوی و بریعه. اشیر دختری به نام سارح نیز داشت. | 30 |
The sons of Asher, Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi and Beriah, —and Serah their sister.
| پسران بریعه عبارت بودند از: حابر و ملکی‌ئیل (پدر برزاوت). | 31 |
And, the sons of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel, —the same, was the father of Birzaith.
| پسران حابر عبارت بودند از: یفلیط، شومیر و حوتام. حابر دختری به نام شوعا نیز داشت. | 32 |
And, Heber, begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, —and, Shua, their sister.
| پسران یفلیط عبارت بودند از: فاسک، بمهال و عشوت. | 33 |
And, the sons of Japhlet, Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These, were the sons of Japhlet.
| پسران شومیر برادر یفلیط اینها بودند: روهجه، یحبه و ارام. | 34 |
And, the sons of Shemer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Jahbah, and Aram.
| پسران برادر او هیلام عبارت بودند از: صوفح، یمناع، شالش و عامال. | 35 |
And, the sons of Helem, his brother, Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh and Amal.
| پسران صوفح عبارت بودند از: سوح، حرنفر، شوعال، بیری، یمره، | 36 |
The sons of Zophah, Suah and Harnepher, and Shual and Beri, and Imrah, —
| باصر، هود، شما، شلشه، یتران و بئیرا. | 37 |
Bezer and Hod, and Shamma and Shilshah, and Ithran and Beera.
| پسران یتر عبارت بودند از: یفنه، فسفا و آرا. | 38 |
And, the sons of Jether, Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
| پسران علا عبارت بودند از: آرح، حنی‌ئیل و رصیا. | 39 |
And, the sons of Ulla, Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
| همهٔ فرزندان اشیر که سران طایفه‌ها بودند، جنگاورانی کارآزموده و رهبرانی برجسته محسوب می‌شدند. تعداد مردان جنگی این طایفه که در نسب نامه ثبت گردید ۲۶٬۰۰۰ نفر بود. | 40 |
All these, were sons of Asher, chiefs of the ancestral house, choice men, heroes of great valour, chiefs of the leaders, —and, when they registered themselves, in host, for war, the number of the men, was twenty-six thousand.
