مزامیر 47

۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور بنی قورح ای جمیع امت‌ها دستک زنید. نزد خدابه آواز شادی بانگ برآورید.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

۲ 2 زیراخداوند متعال و مهیب است و بر تمامی جهان خدای بزرگ.

For the LORD most high [is] terrible; [he is] a great King over all the earth.

۳ 3 قوم‌ها را در زیر ما مغلوب خواهدساخت و طایفه‌ها را در زیر پایهای ما.

He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

۴ 4 میراث مارا برای ما خواهد برگزید یعنی جلالت یعقوب راکه دوست می‌دارد، سلاه.

He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. (Selah)

۵ 5 خدا به آواز بلندصعود نموده است. خداوند به آواز کرنا.

God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

۶ 6 تسبیح بخوانید، خدا را تسبیح بخوانید. تسبیح بخوانید، پادشاه ما را تسبیح بخوانید.

Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

۷ 7 زیرا خدا پادشاه تمامی جهان است. به خردمندی تسبیح بخوانید.

For God [is] the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

۸ 8 خدا بر امت‌ها سلطنت می‌کند. خدا بر تخت قدس خود نشسته است.

God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

۹ 9 سروران قوم‌ها با قوم خدای ابراهیم جمع شده‌اند زیرا که سپرهای جهان از آن خداست. او بسیار متعال می‌باشد.

The princes of the people are gathered together, [even] the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth [belong] unto God: he is greatly exalted.
