< Isaayyaas 52 >
1 Yaa Xiyoon, dammaqi, dammaqi; jabina kee uffadhu! Yaa Yerusaalem, yaa magaalaa qulqullittii, wayyaa kee miidhagaa sana uffadhu. Namoonni dhagna hin qabaminii fi xuraaʼonni lammaffaa sitti hin seenan.
Awake, awake, Put on thy strength, O Zion, —Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem—thou holy city, For there shall not again come into thee any more the uncircumcised and unclean.
2 Yaa Yerusaalem, awwaara of irraa dhadhaʼadhu; kaʼiitii teessoo irra taaʼi. Yaa intala Xiyoon boojiʼamtittii, foncaa morma keetii of irraa hiiki.
Shake thyself from the dust arise—sit down O Jerusalem, —Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive! daughter of Zion!
3 Waaqayyo akkana jedhaatii: “Isin gatii malee gurguramtanii turtan; amma immoo maallaqa malee furamtan.”
For, thus, saith Yahweh, For nought, ye sold yourselves, —And not with silver, shall ye be redeemed,
4 Waaqayyo Gooftaan akkana jedhaatii: “Jalqabatti sabni koo jiraachuuf jedhee Gibxitti gad buʼe; ergasii Asoor sababii malee isaan cunqurse.
For, thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, To Egypt, went down my people at first to sojourn there, —But, Assyria, without cause, hath oppressed him.
5 “Yoos ani amma maalan asii qaba?” jedha Waaqayyo. “Sabni koo sababii malee fudhatameera; warri isaan bulchanis ni qoosu” jedha Waaqayyo. “Guyyaa guutuus, maqaan koo ittuma fufee arrabsama.
Now, therefore, what do I here? Demandeth Yahweh. That my people have been taken away for nought? They who rule them, do howl, Declareth Yahweh, And, continually—all the day, is my Name brought into contempt.
6 Kanaafuu sabni koo maqaa koo ni beeka; kanaafuu isaan gaafas kan duraan dursee waan sana dubbate akka ana taʼe ni beeku. Eeyyee, inni anuma.”
Therefore, shall my people acknowledge my Name: Therefore, in that day, shall they acknowledge that, I, am the same, even I who am speaking, —Here, I am,
7 Miilli warra wangeela fidanii, kan nagaa labsanii, kan oduu gammachiisaa fidanii, kan fayyina labsanii, kan Xiyooniin, “Waaqni kee moʼeera!” jedhanii tulluuwwan irratti akkam miidhagaa dha!
How beautiful, upon the mountains are the feet—Of him That bringeth good tidings, That publisheth peace, That bringeth good tidings of blessing, That publisheth salvation, —That saith unto Zion, Thy God, hath become king.
8 Dhaggeeffadhu! Eegdonni kee sagalee isaanii ol fudhataniiru; isaan tokkummaadhaan gammachuudhaan iyyu. Yeroo Waaqayyo Xiyoonitti deebiʼutti, isaan ijuma isaaniitiin ni argu.
The voice of thy watchmen! They have uplifted a voice Together, do they renew the shout of triumph, —For eye to eye, shall they see, When Yahweh returneth to Zion.
9 Yaa diigamtoota Yerusaalem tokkummaadhaan faarfannaa gammachuu faarfadhaa; Waaqayyo uummata isaa jajjabeessee Yerusaaleminis fureeraa.
Break forth, shout in triumph together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, —For Yahweh Hath comforted his people, Hath redeemed Jerusalem:
10 Waaqayyo fuula saboota hundaa duratti, irree isaa qulqulluu sana ni mulʼisa; handaarri lafaa hundis fayyisuu Waaqa keenyaa ni argu.
Yahweh hath bared his holy arm, in the eyes of all the nations, So shall all the ends of the earth see the salvation of our God.
11 Isin warri miʼa Waaqayyoo baattan, addaan baʼaa; addaan baʼaa; achii fagaadhaa! Waan xuraaʼaa tokko illee hin tuqinaa! Ishee keessaa baʼaatii qulqulloota taʼa.
Away! away! come, forth from thence!—Nought unclean, may ye touch, —Come forth out of her midst, Purify yourselves, ye who are to carry the vessels of Yahweh;
12 Isin garuu ariitiidhaan achii hin baatan; yookaan baqattanii hin deemtan; Waaqayyo fuula keessan dura deemaatii; Waaqni Israaʼel dugda duubaan isin eega.
For, not in haste, shall ye come forth, Nor, by flight, shall ye journey, —For, your van-guard, is Yahweh, And, your rear-guard, the God of Israel.
13 Kunoo, garbichi koo ogummaadhaan hojjeta; inni ni kabajama; ol kaafama; ulfina guddaas ni argata.
Lo! my Servant, prospereth, —He riseth, and is lifted up, and becometh very high:
14 Namoonni baayʼeen waaʼee isaa hamma naʼanitti, fuulli isaa nama hundumaa caalaa golgolaaʼeera; bifti isaas nama hundumaa caalaa badeera;
The more that Many, were amazed at thee, So marred, beyond any man’s, was his appearance, —And his form, beyond the sons of men,
15 akkasiinis inni saboota hedduu dinqisiifachiisa; mootonni sababii isaatiif afaan isaanii qabatu. Isaan waan isaanitti hin himamin arguutii; waan hin dhagaʼinis ni hubatu.
The more doth he startle Many nations, Before him, have kings closed their mouth, —For, that which had not been related to them, have they seen, And that which they had not heard, haw they diligently considered.
