रोमी 14
1 बहसहरूको बारेमा न्याय नगरीकनै विश्वासमा कमजोर हुनेलाई ग्रहण गर ।
Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on his opinions.
2 एक जनासँग कुनै पनि थोक खाने विश्वास हुन्छ, अर्को जो कमजोर छ, त्यसले सागसब्जी मात्र खान्छ ।
For one person has faith to eat all things, while another, who is weak, eats only vegetables.
3 सबै थोक खानेले सबै थोक नखानेलाई घृणा नगरोस् । अनि सबै थोक नखानेले सबै थोक खानेको न्याय नगरोस् । किनकि उसलाई परमेश्वरले ग्रहण गर्नुभएको छ ।
The one who eats everything must not belittle the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted him.
4 अरूको नोकरको न्याय गर्ने तिमी को हौ? यो त्यसको मालिकको सामु नै खडा हुन्छ वा पतन हुन्छ । तर त्यसलाई खडा गराइनेछ, किनकि प्रभु त्यसलाई खडा गराउन सक्षम हुनुहुन्छ ।
Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
5 एक जनाले कुनै दिनलाई अर्कोभन्दा मूल्यको मान्छ । अर्कोले हरेक दिनलाई समान रूपमा लिन्छ । हेरक आ-आफ्नै मनमा विश्वस्त होस् ।
One person regards a certain day above the others, while someone else considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
6 जसले कुनै दिन पालन गर्छ, त्यसले प्रभुकै निम्ति पालन गर्छ, र जसले खान्छ, त्यसले प्रभुकै निम्ति खान्छ, किनकि त्यसले परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद दिन्छ । जसले खाँदैन, त्यसले प्रभुकै निम्ति खानबाट आफूलाई रोक्छ ।
He who observes a special day does so to the Lord; he who eats does so to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.
7 किनकि हामी कोही पनि आफ्नै लागि जिउँदैनौँ र कोही पनि आफ्नै निम्ति मर्दैनौँ ।
For none of us lives to himself alone, and none of us dies to himself alone.
8 किनकि यदि हामी जिउँछौँ भने, प्रभुकै निम्ति जिउँछौँ र यदि हामी मर्छौं भने, हामी प्रभुकै निम्ति मर्छौं । त्यसैले, हामी चाहे जिऔँ वा मरौँ, हामी प्रभुकै हौँ ।
If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
9 यही उद्देश्यको निम्ति ख्रीष्ट मर्नुभयो र फेरि जीवित हुनुभयो, ताकि उहाँ मरेका र जीवितहरू दुवैका प्रभु हुन सक्नुभएको होस् ।
For this reason Christ died and returned to life, that He might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
10 तर तिमीहरू किन आफ्नो भाइको न्याय गर्छौ? अनि तिमी किन आफ्नो भाइलाई तुच्छ ठान्छौ? किनकि हामी सबै परमेश्वरको न्याय आसनको सामु खडा हुनेछौँ ।
Why, then, do you judge your brother? Or why do you belittle your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.
11 किनकि यस्तो लेखिएको छ, परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “जस्तो म जीवित छु, मेरो निम्ति हरेक घुँडा टेक्नेछ र हरेक जिब्रोले परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर्नेछ ।”
It is written: “As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before Me; every tongue will confess to God.”
12 यसैले, हामी हरेकले परमेश्वर स्वयम्लाई लेखा दिनुपर्नेछ ।
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
13 यसकारण, एक-अर्काको न्याय नगरौँ, तर बरु, यो अठोट गरौँ, कि हामी कसैले आफ्नो भाइको निम्ति ठेस लाग्ने थोक वा पासो राख्नेछैनौँ ।
Therefore let us stop judging one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way.
14 म यो जान्दछु र म प्रभु येशूमा विश्वास गर्दछु, कि कुनै पनि थोक आफैँ अशुद्ध हुँदैन । जसले कुनै थोकलाई अशुद्ध भनी ठान्छ, त्यसको निम्ति मात्र यो अशुद्ध हुनेछ ।
I am convinced and fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean.
15 यदि खानाले गर्दा तिम्रो भाइलाई चोट पुग्छ भने, तिमी प्रेममा चलिरहेका छैनौ । जसको निम्ति ख्रीष्ट मर्नुभयो त्यसलाई तिम्रो खानाले नष्ट नपार ।
If your brother is distressed by what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy your brother, for whom Christ died.
16 यसैले, तिम्रा असल कार्यहरूले तिनीहरूलाई गिल्ला गर्ने नतुल्याओस् ।
Do not allow what you consider good, then, to be spoken of as evil.
17 किनकि परमेश्वरको राज्य खाने र पिउनेबारे होइन, तर पवित्र आत्मामा धार्मिकता, शान्ति र आनन्दबारे हो ।
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
18 किनकि यसरी ख्रीष्टको सेवा गर्ने व्यक्ति परमेश्वरको निम्ति ग्रहणयोग्य र मानिसहरूद्वारा समर्थन गरिएको हुन्छ ।
For whoever serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.
19 यसैले, शान्तिका कुराहरूका र एक-अर्कालाई निर्माण गर्ने कुराहरूका पाछि लागौँ ।
So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
20 खानाको कारणले परमेश्वरको कामलाई नष्ट नगर । वास्तवमा सबै थोक शुद्ध छन्, तर जसले खान्छ र त्यसलाई ठेस खान लगाउँछ, त्यसको निम्ति यो दुष्टता हो ।
Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a man to let his eating be a stumbling block.
21 मासु नखानु, मद्यपान नगर्नु, र आफ्नो भाइलाई चोट पुर्याउने कुनै पनि कुरा नगर्नु असल हो ।
It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything to cause your brother to stumble.
22 तिमीसँग यी विशेष विश्वासहरू छन्, तिनीहरूलाई आफू र परमेश्वरको बिचमा नै राख । आफैँ मञ्जुर भएको कुरामा आफैँलाई दोषी नतुल्याउने मानिस धन्यको हो ।
Keep your belief about such matters between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves.
23 जसले शङ्का गरेर खान्छ, यो विश्वासबाट नभएको हुनाले त्यो दोषी ठहरिन्छ । अनि जे विश्वासबाट आएको होइन, त्यो पाप हो ।
But the one who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that is not from faith is sin.
