अय्यूब 39
1 चट्टानहरूका घोरल कहिले बियाउँछ भनी तँ जान्दछस्? हरिणीले बच्चा जन्माउँदै गर्दा के तैंले हेर्न सक्छस्?
Knowest thou the time when the wilde goates bring foorth yong? or doest thou marke when the hindes doe calue?
2 तिनीहरूले पेटमा पाठा बोक्दा के तैंले तिनीहरूको महिना गन्न सक्छस्? तिनीहरूले बच्चा जन्माउने समय तँलाई थाहा छ?
Canst thou nomber the moneths that they fulfill? or knowest thou the time when they bring foorth?
3 तिनीहरू निहुरिन्छन्, र आफ्ना पाठा पाउँछन्, अनि यसरी तिनीहरूको आफ्नो प्रसव-वेदना सकिन्छ ।
They bow them selues: they bruise their yong and cast out their sorowes.
4 तिनीहरूका पाठा बलिया हुन्छन्, र खुला खेतहरूमा हुर्कन्छन् । तिनीहरू बाहिर निस्कन्छन्, र फेरि फर्केर आउँदैनन् ।
Yet their yong waxe fatte, and growe vp with corne: they goe foorth and returne not vnto them.
5 वन-गधालाई कसले छाडा छोडेको हो? कुद्ने गधाको बन्धन कसले फुकालेको हो,
Who hath set the wilde asse at libertie? or who hath loosed the bondes of the wilde asse?
6 जसको बासस्थान अराबामा, त्यसको घर खारको जग्गामा मैले बनाएको छु ।
It is I which haue made the wildernesse his house, and the salt places his dwellings.
7 सहरको होहल्ला सुनेर त्यसले गिल्ला गर्दै हाँस्छ । लखेट्नेले कराएको त्यसले सुन्दैन ।
He derideth the multitude of the citie: he heareth not the crie of the driuer.
8 डाँडाहरूमा भएका आफ्ना खर्कहरूतिर त्यो घुम्छ । खानलाई त्यहाँ त्यसले हरेक हरियो बिरुवा खोज्छ ।
He seeketh out the mountaine for his pasture, and searcheth after euery greene thing.
9 वन-गोरुले तेरो सेवा गर्न खुसी हुनेछ र? तेरो डुँडनेर बस्न त्यो सन्तुष्ट हुनेछ र?
Will the vnicorne serue thee? or will he tary by thy cribbe?
10 वन-गोरुलाई हलोको सियोमा हिंडाउन तँ डोरीको प्रयोग गर्न सक्छन्? त्यसले तेरो कुरा मानेर उपत्यकाहरूलाई जोत्नेछ?
Canst thou binde the vnicorne with his band to labour in the furrowe? or will he plowe the valleyes after thee?
11 त्यसको बल अत्याधिक हुनाले त्यसमा तँ भर पर्छस् र? त्यसले तेरो काम गरोस् भनेर के तैंले आफ्नो काम छाड्नेछस्?
Wilt thou trust in him, because his strength is great, and cast off thy labour vnto him?
12 तेरो अन्न घरमा ल्याउन, अन्लाई तेरो खलामा जम्मा गर्न, के त्यसमाथि तँ भर पर्छस् र?
Wilt thou beleeue him, that he will bring home thy seede, and gather it vnto thy barne?
13 शुतुरमुर्गका पखेटा हर्षोल्लाससाथ चल्छन्, तर के ती प्रेमका पखेटाहरू र पुच्छर हुन् र?
Hast thou giuen the pleasant wings vnto the peacockes? or winges and feathers vnto the ostriche?
14 किनकि त्यसले भुइँमा आफ्ना फुलहरू छोड्छ, र ती त्यसले धूलोमा नै तातो हुन दिन्छ ।
Which leaueth his egges in the earth, and maketh them hote in the dust,
15 पैतलाले तिनलाई कुल्चन सक्छ वा जङ्गली जनावरले कुल्चिन सक्छ भनी त्यसले बिर्सन्छ ।
And forgetteth that the foote might scatter the, or that the wild beast might breake the.
16 त्यसले आफ्ना बच्चाहरूलाई आफ्नो नभएजस्तै गरी निर्दयतापूर्वक व्यवहार गर्छ । त्यसको परिश्रम व्यर्थैमा खेर जान्छ कि भनी त्यो डराउँदैन,
He sheweth himselfe cruell vnto his yong ones, as they were not his, and is without feare, as if he trauailed in vaine.
17 किनकि परमेश्वरले त्यसलाई बुद्धिहीन तुल्याउनुभएको छ, र त्यसलाई कुनै समझशक्ति दिनुभएको छैन ।
For God had depriued him of wisedom, and hath giuen him no part of vnderstanding.
18 जब त्यो तीव्र गतिमा दोडन्छ, त्यसले घोडा र त्यसमा सवार हुनेलाई गिल्ला गर्छ ।
When time is, he mounteth on hie: he mocketh the horse and his rider.
19 घोडालाई त्यसको शक्ति तैंले दिएको हो? त्यसको गर्दनमा जगरले पहिराएको तैंले हो?
Hast thou giuen the horse strength? or couered his necke with neying?
20 त्यसलाई तैंले कहिल्यै सलहले झैं उफ्रन लगाएको छस्? त्यसको चर्को हिनहिनाइ डरलाग्दो हुन्छ ।
Hast thou made him afraid as the grashopper? his strong neying is fearefull.
21 त्यसले शक्तिमा टाप बजाउँछ, र आफ्नो ताकतमा आनन्द मनाउँछ । हतियारको सामना गर्न त्यो जाइलाग्छ ।
He diggeth in the valley, and reioyceth in his strength: he goeth foorth to meete the harnest man.
22 त्यसले डरको खिल्ली उडाउँछ, र हतोत्साही हुँदैन । तरवार देखेर त्यो फर्केर भाग्दैन ।
He mocketh at feare, and is not afraid, and turneth not backe from the sworde,
23 काँडको ठोक्रो त्यसको छेउमा धर्ररर बज्छ, अनि त्यहाँ भाला र तरवार चम्कन्छ ।
Though the quiuer rattle against him, the glittering speare and the shield.
24 क्रोध र रिसले त्यसले जमिनलाई निलिदिन्छ । तुरहीको आवाजले गर्दा त्यो एक ठाउँमा खडा हुन सक्दैन ।
He swalloweth the ground for fearcenes and rage, and he beleeueth not that it is the noise of the trumpet.
25 जब तुरही बजेको सुनिन्छ, तब त्यसले भन्छ, 'आहा!' कमान्डरहरूका गर्जने आवाज र होहल्लाले, त्यसले टाढैबाट युद्धको गन्ध थाहा पाउँछ ।
He sayth among the trumpets, Ha, ha: hee smellleth the battell afarre off, and the noyse of the captaines, and the shouting.
26 के तेरो बुद्धिद्वारा बाज माथि-माथि उड्ने हो र दक्षिणतिर त्यसले आफ्नो पखेटा फिंजाउने हो?
Shall the hauke flie by thy wisedome, stretching out his wings toward the South?
27 के तेरो आज्ञामा गिद्ध माथि-माथि उड्ने हो र अग्ला ठाउँहरूमा आफ्ना गुँडहरू बनाउने हो?
Doeth the eagle mount vp at thy commandement, or make his nest on hie?
28 त्यो पहरामा बस्छ र पहराकै टाकुरामा त्यसले आफ्नो घर बनाउँछ जुन किल्लाझैं हुन्छ ।
Shee abideth and remaineth in the rocke, euen vpon the toppe of the rocke, and the tower.
29 त्यहाँबाट त्यसले सिकारहरूको खोजी गर्छ । त्यसका आँखाले धेरै टाढाबाट तिनलाई देख्छन् ।
From thence she spieth for meate, and her eyes beholde afarre off.
30 त्यसका बचेराहरूले पनि रगत पिउँछन् । जहाँ लाश हुन्छ, त्यहाँ त्यो हुन्छ ।”
His young ones also sucke vp blood: and where the slaine are, there is she.
