होशे 12
1 एफ्राइमले हावा खान्छ र त्यसले पूर्वीय बतासको पछि लाग्छ । त्यसले झुट र हिंसालाई निरन्तर बढाउँछ । तिनीहरूले अश्शूरसँग करार बाँध्दछन् र मिश्रदेशमा जैतूनको तेल लान्छन् ।
Ephraim [is] feeding wind and [is] pursuing an east wind all the day falsehood and violence he increases and a covenant with Assyria they are making and oil to Egypt it is carried.
2 यहूदाको विरुद्ध परमप्रभुसँग एउटा मुद्धा छ र याकूबले जे गरेको छ, त्यसको लागि दण्ड दिनुहुनेछ । त्यसका कामहरूका निम्ति उहाँले त्यसलाई बदला दिनुहुनेछ ।
And a case at law [belongs] to Yahweh with Judah and to visit [judgment] on Jacob according to ways his according to deeds his he will repay to him.
3 गर्भमा नै याकूबले आफ्नो दाजुको कुर्कुच्चा समाते, र आफ्नो जवान अवस्थामा तिनले परमेश्वरसँग लडन्त गरे ।
In the womb he took by [the] heel brother his and in manly vigor his he struggled with God.
4 तिनले स्वर्गदूतसँग लडन्त गरे र जिते । तिनी रोए र उहाँको निगाहको निम्ति बिन्ती गरे । तिनले बेथेलमा परमेश्वरलाई भेटे । त्यहाँ तिनीसँग परमेश्वर बोल्नुभयो ।
And he struggled against an angel and he prevailed he wept and he sought favor to him Beth-el he found him and there he spoke with us.
5 उहाँ सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ । पुकारा गर्नुपर्ने उहाँको नाउँ “परमप्रभु” हो ।
And Yahweh [the] God of hosts Yahweh [is] memorial his.
6 यसैले आफ्नो परमेश्वरकहाँ फर्क । करारको विश्वस्तता र न्याय कायम राख र आफ्नो परमेश्वरमा निरन्तर पर्ख ।
And you in God your you will return loyalty and justice keep and wait to God your continually.
7 व्यापारीहरूका हातमा छलको तराजु रहेको छ, तिनीहरूलाई छल गर्न मन पराउँछन् ।
Canaan [who are] in hand his scales of deceit to defraud he loves.
8 एफ्राइमले भन्यो, “निश्चय नै म धेरै धनी भएको छु । आफ्नो निम्ति मैले धनसम्पत्ति पाएको छु । मेरो सबै काममा कुनै अपराध हुने कुरा, पाप हुने कुनै कुरा तिनीहरूले भेट्टाउनेछैनन् ।”
And he has said Ephraim surely I have become rich I have found wealth for myself all toil my not people will find to me iniquity which [is] sin.
9 “मिश्रदेशदेखि नै म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ । तोकिएको चाडका दिनहरूमा झैं, तिमीहरूलाई फेरि म पालहरूमा बस्ने बनाउनेछु ।
And I [have been] Yahweh God your from [the] land of Egypt again I will cause to dwell you in tents like [the] days of an appointed feast.
10 म अगमवक्ताहरूसँग बोलें, र तिमीहरूका निम्ति मैले तिनीहरूलाई धेरै दर्शनहरू दिएँ । अगमवक्ताहरूका हातद्वारा मैले दृष्टान्तहरू दिएँ ।”
And I spoke to the prophets and I vision[s] I multiplied and by [the] hand of the prophets I gave parables.
11 गिलादमा दुष्टता छ भने, निश्चय नै त्यहाँका मानिसहरू बेकामका छन् । गिलगालमा तिनीहरू साँढेहरू बलि चढाउँछन् । तिनीहरूका वेदीहरू जोतेको खेतमा ढुङ्गाका थुप्रोझैं हुनेछन् ।
[is] Gilead Wickedness surely worthlessness they are in Gilgal bulls they have sacrificed also altars their [are] like heaps of stones on [the] furrows of a field.
12 याकूब अरामको देशमा भागे । एक जना पत्नी पाउनलाई इस्राएलले काम गरे, र एक जना पत्नी पाउनलाई तिनले भेडाका बगालको रेखदेख गरे ।
And he fled Jacob [the] region of Aram and he served Israel for a wife and for a wife he kept [flocks].
13 परमप्रभुले एक जना अगमवक्ताद्वारा इस्राएललाई मिश्रदेशबाट बाहिर ल्याउनुभयो, र एक जना अगमवक्ताद्वारा नै उहाँले तिनीहरूको रेखदेख गर्नुभयो ।
And by a prophet he brought up Yahweh Israel from Egypt and by a prophet he was kept.
14 एफ्राइमले परमप्रभुलाई अत्यन्तै क्रोधित पारेको छ । यसैले त्यसका परमप्रभुले त्यसको रगतको दोष त्यसमाथि नै छोड्नुहुनेछ र त्यसको अपमान त्यसैलाई फर्काउनुहुनेछ ।
He has provoked to anger Ephraim bitterness and blood his on him he will leave and reproach his he will repay to him lord his.
