1 यिनै मल्कीसेदेक शालेमका राजा, सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरका पुजारी थिए । अब्राहाम लडाइँ जितेर फर्की रहेको बेलामा मल्कीसेदेकले तिनलाई भेटेर आशीर्वाद दिए ।
And this Melchisedech, king of Salem, and preest of the hiyeste God, which mette with Abraham, as he turnede ayen fro the sleyng of kyngis, and blesside hym;
2 अब्राहामले मल्कीसेदेकलाई सबै कुराको दशांश दिए । मल्कीसेदेक नाउँको अर्थ हुन्छ, “धार्मिकताका राजा ।” तिनको अर्को पद “शालेमका राजा” हो, अर्थात् “शान्तिका राजा ।”
to whom also Abraham departide tithis of alle thingis; first he is seid king of riytwisnesse, and aftirward kyng of Salem, that is to seie, king of pees,
3 उनी विनापिता, विनामाता, विनापिता-पुर्खाहरू र जीवनको सुरु वा अन्त्य नभएका व्यक्ति हुन् । बरु, उनी परमेश्वरका पुत्रजस्तै सदाकालका पुजारी हुनुहुन्छ ।
with out fadir, with out modir, with out genologie, nether hauynge bigynnyng of daies, nether ende of lijf; and he is lickened to the sone of God, and dwellith preest with outen ende.
4 हेर, यिनी कस्ता महान् व्यक्ति थिए । हाम्रा पुर्खा अब्राहामले तिनलाई लडाइँमा जितेर ल्याएका सबै कुराको दशांश दिए ।
But biholde ye how greet is this, to whom Abraham the patriark yaf tithis of the beste thingis.
5 एकातिर, लेवीका छोराहरू जसले पुजारी पदलाई प्राप्त गरेका छन्, तिनीहरूलाई मानिसहरू अर्थात् आफ्नै भाइहरूबाट दशांश लिने आज्ञा व्यवस्थाले दिएको छ, यद्यपि तिनीहरू पनि अब्राहामकै सन्तानबाट आएका हुन् ।
For men of the sones of Leuy takinge presthod han maundement to take tithis of the puple, bi the lawe, that is to seie, of her britheren, thouy also thei wenten out of the leendis of Abraham.
6 तर अर्कोतिर, मल्कीसेदेक जसका वंशावली तिनीहरूबाटका थिएनन्, जसले अब्राहामबाट सबै दशांश प्राप्त गरे, र तिनले जसलाई प्रतिज्ञाहरू गरिएको थियो उनलाई आशिष् दिए ।
But he whos generacioun is not noumbrid in hem, took tithis of Abraham; and he blesside this Abraham, which hadde repromyssiouns.
7 ठुला मानिसले दिएको आशीर्वादलाई साना मानिसले इन्कार गर्ने कुनै कारण छैन ।
With outen ony ayenseiyng, that that is lesse, is blessid of the betere.
8 यस अवस्थामा मरणशील मानिसहरूले दशांश प्राप्त गर्दछन् भने, अर्कोतिर त्यस सन्दर्भमा उनी जीवित रहन्छन् भनी यसले प्रमाणित गर्दछ ।
And heere deedli men taken tithis; but there he berith witnessyng, that he lyueth.
9 र यस सन्दर्भमा भन्नुपर्दा, अब्राहामद्वारा दशांश पाउने लेवीले पनि दशांश दिए,
And that it be seid so, bi Abraham also Leuy, that took tithis, was tithid; and yit he was in his fadris leendis,
10 किनभने मल्कीसेदेकले अब्राहामलाई भेट्दा लेवी पनि आफ्ना पुर्खाकै शरीरमा थिए ।
whanne Melchisedech mette with hym.
11 अब यदि लेवीको पुजारी पदद्वारा पूर्णताको सम्भव भएको भए (किनकि जसबाट मानिसहरूले व्यवस्था प्राप्त गर्दछन्), हारूनको दर्जाबमोजिम नभएर मल्कीसेदेकको दर्जाअनुसार अर्को पुजारी स्थापित गर्न किन आवश्यक पर्थ्यो?
Therfor if perfeccioun was bi the preesthood of Leuy, for vndur hym the puple took the lawe, what yit was it nedeful, another preest to rise, bi the ordre of Melchisedech, and not to be seid bi the ordre of Aaron?
12 किनकि जब पुजारी पद परिवर्तन हुन्छ, तब व्यवस्था पनि परिवर्तन हुनुपर्दछ ।
For whi whanne the preesthod is translatid, it is nede that also translacioun of the lawe be maad.
13 किनकि एक जना जसको बारेमा यी कुराहरू भनिएका छन्, उहाँ अर्कै कुलका हुनुहुन्छ, जसबाट कहिल्यै कसैले वेदीमा सेवा गरेका छैनन् ।
But he in whom these thingis ben seid, is of another lynage, of which no man was preest to the auter.
14 अब यो स्पष्ट छ, कि यहूदाको कुलबाट हाम्रा प्रभु जन्मनुभएको थियो, तर मोशाले पुजारीहरूका बारेमा कहिल्यै उल्लेख गरेका छैनन् ।
For it is opyn, that oure Lord is borun of Juda, in which lynage Moises spak no thing of preestis.
15 यदि मल्कीसेदेकजस्तै अर्को स्वरूपमा पुजारी खडा हुन्छ भने, हामीले जे भनिरहेका छौँ, त्यो स्पष्ट छ ।
And more yit it is knowun, if bi the ordre of Melchisedech another preest is risun vp;
16 उहाँ शारीरिक पुर्खाहरूका नियमका आधारमा पुजारी हुनुभएको होइन, तर बरु उहाँ अविनाशी जीवनको शक्तिमा पुजारी हुनुभयो ।
which is not maad bi the lawe of fleischli maundement, but bi vertu of lijf that may not be vndon.
17 किनकि उहाँको बिषयमा धर्मशास्त्रले यसरी गवाही दिन्छः “मल्कीसेदेकको दर्जाजस्तै तिमी सधैँका निम्ति पुजारी हौ ।” (aiōn g165)
For he witnessith, That thou art a preest with outen ende, bi the ordre of Melchisedech; (aiōn g165)
18 किनभने पहिलेको आज्ञा रद्द भएको छ, कारण त्यो कमजोर र काम नलाग्ने थियो ।
that repreuyng of the maundement bifor goynge is maad, for the vnsadnesse and vnprofit of it.
19 किनकि व्यवस्थाले कुनै पनि कुरालाई सिद्ध बनाएन । तथापि, भविष्यको निम्ति उत्तम निश्चयता छ, जसद्वारा हामी परमेश्वरको नजिक पुग्न सक्छौँ ।
For whi the lawe brouyt no thing to perfeccioun, but there is a bringing in of a betere hope, bi which we neiyen to God.
20 अनि यो शपथविना भएको होइन । एकातिर, ती अरूहरू शपथविना नै पुजारीहरू भएका थिए ।
And hou greet it is, not with out sweryng; but the othere ben maad preestis with outen an ooth;
21 तर अर्कोतिर भने, यी येशू शपथविना नै पुजारी हुनुभयो, जसको बारेमा परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “परमप्रभुले प्रतिज्ञा गर्नुभएको छ, र उहाँले आफ्नो मन परिवर्तन गर्नुहुन्न, ‘तिमी सदाकाल पुजारी हुनेछौ’ ।” (aiōn g165)
but this preest with an ooth, bi hym that seide `to hym, The Lord swoor, and it schal not rewe hym, Thou art a preest with outen ende, bi the ordre of Melchisedech; (aiōn g165)
22 जसद्वारा येशूलाई उत्तम करारको निश्चयता दिइएको छ ।
in so myche Jhesus is maad biheetere of the betere testament.
23 एकातिर, धेरै पुजाहारीहरू भएका छन्, तर मृत्युको कारणले गर्दा तिनीहरूलाई निरन्तर पुजारीको कार्यमा लागि रहन दिएन ।
And the othere weren maad manye preestis, `therfor for thei weren forbedun bi deth to dwelle stille;
but this, for he dwellith with outen ende, hath an euerlastynge preesthod. (aiōn g165)
25 यसकारण, येशूद्वारा परमेश्वरको नजिक आउने मानिसहरूलाई बचाउनका निम्ति उहाँ पूर्ण रूपमा सामर्थी हुनुहुन्छ, किनभने उहाँ तिनीहरूका निम्ति अन्तर-बिन्ती गर्नलाई सधैँ जीवित हुनुहुन्छ ।
Wherfor also he may saue with outen ende, comynge nyy bi hym silf to God, and euermore lyueth to preye for vs.
26 किनकि यस्तै प्रकारको प्रधान पुजारी हाम्रा निम्ति सुहाउँदो छ । उहाँ पापरहित हुनुहुन्छ; उहाँ दोषरहित, शुद्ध, पापीहरूबाट अलग गरिनुभएका र आकाशभन्दा उच्च हुनुभएको छ ।
For it bisemyde that sich a man were a bischop to vs, hooli, innocent, vndefoulid, clene, departid fro synful men, and maad hiyere than heuenes;
27 प्रधान पुजारीले जस्तै पहिले आफ्नै पापका निम्ति र त्यसपछि मानिसहरूका पापका निम्ति उहाँले दिनहुँ बलिदान चढाई रहनुपर्दैन । जब उहाँले आफैँलाई अर्पण गर्नुभयो, तब उहाँले यो एकै पटक सधैँका निम्ति गर्नुभयो ।
which hath not nede ech dai, as prestis, first for hise owne giltis to offre sacrifices, and aftirward for the puple; for he dide this thing in offringe hym silf onys.
28 किनकि व्यवस्थाले मानिसहरूलाई प्रधान पुजारीको रूपमा नियुक्त गर्यो, जससँग कमजोरी हुन्थे । तर उहाँ व्यवस्थापछि आएको शपथको वचनले नियुक्त हुनुभएका पुत्र हुनुहुन्छ जो सदाकालका निम्ति सिद्ध बनाइनुभएको छ । (aiōn g165)
And the lawe ordeynede men prestis hauynge sijknesse; but the word of swering, which is after the lawe, ordeynede the sone perfit with outen ende. (aiōn g165)
