လုကာ 18
1 ၁ ထိုနောက်သခင်ယေရှုသည်တပည့်တော်တို့ အားအဘယ်အခါမျှစိတ်အားမလျော့ဘဲ အခါခပ်သိမ်းဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုသင့်ကြောင်း ပုံဥပမာဆောင်၍သွန်သင်တော်မူ၏။-
Then he spoke a parable to them about how they should always pray and not become discouraged,
2 ၂ ကိုယ်တော်က ``မြို့ကြီးတစ်မြို့မှာတရားသူ ကြီးတစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။ သူသည်ဘုရားသခင်ကို မကြောက်။ လူမျက်နှာကိုမထောက်သူဖြစ်၏။-
saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect people.
3 ၃ ထိုမြို့မှာပင်မုဆိုးမတစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။ သူသည် တရားသူကြီး၏ထံသို့အကြိမ်ကြိမ်လာ ၍ `ကျွန်မ၏တရားတွေ့ဘက်အပေါ်တွင် အနိုင်ရအောင်စီရင်တော်မူပါ' ဟုလျှောက် ထား၏။-
Now there was a widow in that city, and she came often to him, saying, 'Help me get justice against my opponent.'
4 ၄ တရားသူကြီးသည်အတန်ကြာမျှမုဆိုးမ ၏လျှောက်ထားချက်ကိုငြင်းဆန်နေခဲ့၏။ ထို နောက် `ငါသည်ဘုရားသခင်ကိုမကြောက်၊ လူ့မျက်နှာကိုမထောက်တတ်။-
For a long time he was not willing to help her, but after a while he said to himself, 'Though I do not fear God or respect man,
5 ၅ သို့သော်လည်းဤမုဆိုးမသည်ငါ့ကိုနှောင့်ယှက် လှသည်ဖြစ်၍သူ့အားတရားမျှတမှုရရှိစေ ရန် ငါသူ့အမှုကိုစီရင်မည်။ သို့မဟုတ်လျှင်သူ သည်ငါ့ကိုဆက်လက်နှောင့်ယှက်သဖြင့်နောက် ဆုံး၌ငါ့အားပင်ပန်းစေမည်' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။''
yet because this widow causes me trouble, I will help her get justice, so that she does not wear me out by her constant coming.'”
Then the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says.
7 ၇ ရွေးကောက်တော်မူသောသူတို့သည်နေ့ညမပြတ် ဟစ်အော်တောင်းလျှောက်နေကြလျှင် ဘုရားသခင် သည်တရားသဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေရန်စီရင်တော်မမူ ဘဲနေမည်လော။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ထိုသူတို့အား ကူညီမစရန်နှောင့်နှေးတော်မူမည်လော။-
Now will not God also bring justice to his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?
8 ၈ သင်တို့အားငါဆိုသည်ကားကိုယ်တော်သည် ဆောလျင်စွာ ထိုသူတို့အတွက်တရားသဖြင့် ဖြစ်စေရန်စီရင်တော်မူပေအံ့။ သို့ရာတွင် လူသားကြွလာတော်မူသောအခါ၌ ဤ လောကတွင်ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကိုတွေ့ရပါ မည်လော'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
I say to you that he will bring justice to them speedily. Even so, when the Son of Man comes, will he indeed find faith on the earth?”
9 ၉ မိမိတို့ကိုယ်ကိုသူတော်ကောင်းဟုယုံကြည် ကာသူတစ်ပါးတို့ကိုအထင်အမြင်သေး တတ်သူလူအချို့တို့အားသခင်ယေရှု သည်ပုံဥပမာကိုဆောင်၍၊-
Then he also spoke this parable to some who were persuaded in themselves that they were righteous and who despised other people,
10 ၁၀ ``လူနှစ်ယောက်သည်ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုရန် ဗိမာန်တော်သို့သွားကြ၏။ တစ်ယောက်က ဖာရိရှဲ၊ အခြားတစ်ယောက်ကအခွန်ခံသူ ဖြစ်၏။-
“Two men went up into the temple to pray—the one was a Pharisee and the other was a tax collector.
11 ၁၁ ဖာရိရှဲသည်တစ်ယောက်တည်းရပ်လျက် `အို ဘုရား သခင်၊ အခြားသောသူတို့သည်လောဘကြီးသူ၊ မရိုးဖြောင့်သူ၊ သူ့အိမ်ရာကိုပြစ်မှားသူများ ဖြစ်ကြပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ထိုသူတို့ကဲ့သို့ မဟုတ်သဖြင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဤအခွန်ခံသူ ကဲ့သို့ပင်မဟုတ်သဖြင့်လည်းကောင်း ကိုယ် တော်ရှင်၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုချီးမွမ်းပါ၏။-
The Pharisee stood and prayed these things about himself, 'God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, unrighteous people, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.
12 ၁၂ အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ရက်သတ္တတစ်ပတ်လျှင်နှစ်ကြိမ် တိုင်တိုင်အစာရှောင်ပါ၏။ ရရှိသမျှဥစ္စာပစ္စည်း ၏ဆယ်ဖို့တစ်ဖို့ကိုလှူပါ၏' ဟုဆုတောင်း ပတ္ထနာပြု၏။-
I fast two times every week. I give tithes of all that I get.'
13 ၁၃ သို့ရာတွင်အခွန်ခံသူမူကားအဝေးတွင် ရပ်လျက်ကောင်းကင်သို့မော်၍မျှမကြည့်ဝံ့ ဘဲ `အို ဘုရားသခင်၊ အပြစ်ကူးသူအကျွန်ုပ် အားသနားတော်မူပါ' ဟုရင်ပတ်ကိုတီးခတ် လျက်ဆုတောင်းလေ၏။-
But the tax collector, standing at a distance, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but hit his breast, saying, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
14 ၁၄ သင်တို့အားငါဆိုသည်ကားဤသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ရှေ့တော်တွင်သူတော်ကောင်း အဖြစ်ဖြင့်အိမ်သို့ပြန်ရ၏။ ဖာရိရှဲမူကား ထိုသို့မဟုတ်။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်မိမိ ကိုယ်ကိုချီးမြှောက်သူသည်နှိမ့်ချခြင်းခံရ ၍ မိမိကိုယ်ကိုနှိမ့်ချသူသည်ချီးမြှောက်ခြင်း ခံရမည်ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်တည်း'' ဟုမိန့်တော် မူ၏။
I say to you, this man went back down to his house justified rather than the other, because everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but everyone who humbles himself will be exalted.”
15 ၁၅ လက်တော်ဖြင့်တို့ထိတော်မူစေရန်လူအချို့တို့ သည်မိမိတို့၏ကလေးသူငယ်များကိုအထံ တော်သို့ခေါ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြသည်ကို တပည့်တော် တို့မြင်လျှင်ထိုသူတို့အားအပြစ်တင်ကြ၏။-
The people were also bringing to him their infants so that he might touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
16 ၁၆ သို့ရာတွင်သခင်ယေရှုသည်ကလေးတို့ကို ခေါ်လျက် ``ကလေးသူငယ်တို့ငါ့ထံသို့လာ ကြပါစေ။ မဆီးတားကြနှင့်၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုသော်ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော်သည် ထို သို့သောသူတို့၏နိုင်ငံဖြစ်သောကြောင့်တည်း။-
But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Permit the little children to come to me, and do not forbid them. For the kingdom of God belongs to such ones.
17 ၁၇ အမှန်အကန်သင်တို့အားငါဆိုသည်ကား ကလေးသူငယ်ကဲ့သို့ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံ တော်ကိုမခံမယူလျှင် နိုင်ငံတော်သို့ဝင်ရ လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
Truly I say to you, whoever will not receive the kingdom of God like a child will definitely not enter it.”
18 ၁၈ ယုဒအမျိုးသားအရာရှိတစ်ယောက် က ``ကောင်းမြတ်တော်မူသောဆရာ၊ ထာဝရ အသက်ကိုရအံ့ငှာအကျွန်ုပ်သည်အဘယ် အရာကိုပြုရပါမည်နည်း'' ဟုကိုယ်တော် အားမေးလျှောက်၏။ (aiōnios g166)
A certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
19 ၁၉ သခင်ယေရှုက ``သင်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ငါ့ ကိုကောင်းမြတ်သည်ဟုခေါ်သနည်း။ ဘုရား သခင်မှတစ်ပါးကောင်းမြတ်သူတစ်စုံတစ် ယောက်မျှမရှိ။-
Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except God alone.
20 ၂၀ သင်သည်ပညတ်တော်တို့ကိုသိသည်မဟုတ် လော။ `သူ့အိမ်ရာကိုမပြစ်မှားနှင့်။ လူ့အသက် ကိုမသတ်နှင့်။ သူ့ဥစ္စာကိုမခိုးနှင့်။ မမှန်သော သက်သေကိုမခံနှင့်။ မိဘကိုရိုသေသမှုပြု လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
You know the commandments—do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not testify falsely, honor your father and mother.”
21 ၂၁ ထိုသူက ``ဤပညတ်များကိုအကျွန်ုပ်သည် ငယ်စဉ်မှစ၍စောင့်ထိန်းခဲ့ပါပြီ'' ဟုလျှောက် ၏။
The ruler said, “All these things I have obeyed from the time I was a youth.”
22 ၂၂ ထိုစကားကိုကြားတော်မူလျှင်သခင်ယေရှု က ``သင်သည်ပြုလုပ်ရန်တစ်ခုလိုသေး၏။ သင့် ဥစ္စာရှိသမျှကိုရောင်း၍ဆင်းရဲသူတို့အား ပေးကမ်းစွန့်ကြဲလော့။ ဤသို့ပြုလျှင်သင်သည် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံတွင်ဘဏ္ဍာကိုရလိမ့်မည်။ သို့ စွန့်ကြဲပြီးနောက်ငါ့နောက်သို့လိုက်လော့'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
When Jesus heard that, he said to him, “One thing you still lack. You must sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven—and come, follow me.”
23 ၂၃ ထိုသူကားဥစ္စာများစွာကြွယ်ဝသူဖြစ်သဖြင့် ကိုယ်တော်၏စကားကိုကြားသောအခါအလွန် ပင်စိတ်ညှိုးငယ်သွားလေ၏။
But when the ruler heard these things, he became extremely sad, for he was very rich.
24 ၂၄ ထိုအခြင်းအရာကိုသခင်ယေရှုမြင်တော်မူ လျှင် ``ဥစ္စာကြွယ်ဝသူများသည်နိုင်ငံတော်သို့ ဝင်ရန်ခက်လှ၏။-
Then Jesus, seeing him, became very sad and said, “How difficult it is for those who are rich to enter the kingdom of God!
25 ၂၅ အပ်နဖားကိုကုလားအုတ်လျှိုဝင်ရန်လွယ် ကောင်းလွယ်လိမ့်မည်။ ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံ တော်သို့ဥစ္စာကြွယ်ဝသူဝင်နိုင်ရန်ကားမလွယ် ကူ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 ၂၆ ထိုစကားကိုကြားကြသောသူတို့က ``ဤသို့ ဖြစ်ပါမူအဘယ်သူသည်ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကိုရ နိုင်ပါမည်နည်း'' ဟုမေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။
Those hearing it said, “Then who can be saved?”
27 ၂၇ ကိုယ်တော်က ``လူတို့မတတ်နိုင်သောအရာကို ဘုရားသခင်တတ်နိုင်တော်မူ၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော် မူ၏။
Jesus answered, “The things which are impossible with people are possible with God.”
28 ၂၈ ပေတရုက ``အရှင်ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် မိမိတို့၏အိုးအိမ်ကိုစွန့်၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏နောက် တော်သို့လိုက်ခဲ့ကြပါပြီ'' ဟုလျှောက်၏။
Peter said, “Well, we have left everything that is our own and have followed you.”
29 ၂၉ ကိုယ်တော်က ``အမှန်အကန်သင်တို့အားငါ ဆိုသည်ကားဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော်အတွက် မိမိ၏အိမ်ကိုဖြစ်စေ၊ ဇနီးကိုဖြစ်စေ၊ ညီအစ် ကိုဖြစ်စေ၊ မိဘဖြစ်စေ၊ သားသမီးဖြစ်စေစွန့် သောသူသည်၊-
Jesus then said to them, “Truly, I say to you that there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
31 ၃၁ သခင်ယေရှုသည်တစ်ကျိပ်နှစ်ပါးတို့ကို ခေါ်တော်မူပြီးလျှင် ``နားထောင်ကြလော့။ ငါ တို့သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ခရီးပြုလျက် ရှိကြ၏။ လူသားအကြောင်းနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ပရောဖက်များဖော်ပြခဲ့သည့်အမှုအရာ အလုံးစုံတို့သည်ဖြစ်ပျက်ရလိမ့်မည်။-
After he gathered the twelve to himself, he said to them, “See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that have been written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished.
32 ၃၂ လူသားကိုလူမျိုးခြားတို့၏လက်သို့အပ်နှံ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူ့ကိုပြောင်လှောင်စော်ကား၍ တံတွေးနှင့်ထွေးကြလိမ့်မည်။-
For he will be given over to the Gentiles, and will be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon.
33 ၃၃ ကြိမ်ဒဏ်ပေး၍အသေသတ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထို နောက်သုံးရက်မြောက်သောနေ့၌လူသားသည် သေခြင်းမှရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
After whipping him, they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise again.”
34 ၃၄ သို့ရာတွင်တပည့်တော်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်၏ စကားတစ်ခွန်းကိုမျှနားမလည်ကြ။ ထို စကားများ၏အနက်အဋ္ဌိပ္ပါယ်သည်ကွယ်ဝှက် လျက်နေသဖြင့် ကိုယ်တော်၏မိန့်တော်မူချက် ကိုနားမလည်ကြ။
They understood none of these things, and this word was hidden from them, and they did not understand the things that were said.
35 ၃၅ သခင်ယေရှုသည်ယေရိခေါမြို့အနီးသို့ ရောက်တော်မူသောအခါ မျက်မမြင်တစ်ဦး သည်လမ်းနားမှာထိုင်၍တောင်းစားလျက်နေ၏။-
It came about that, as Jesus approached Jericho, a certain blind man was sitting by the road begging,
and hearing a crowd going by, he asked what was happening.
They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
So the blind man cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.”
39 ၃၉ ရှေ့တွင်ရှိသည့်လူများကသူ့အားတိတ်တိတ် နေရန်ငေါက်ငမ်းပြောဆိုကြ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း သူသည် ``ဒါဝိဒ်၏သားတော်ယေရှု၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို သနားတော်မူပါ'' ဟုပို၍ပင်ဟစ်အော်လေ၏။
The ones who were walking ahead rebuked the blind man, telling him to be quiet. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me.”
40 ၄၀ သို့ဖြစ်၍သခင်ယေရှုသည်ရပ်တန့်တော်မူ လျက် ``ထိုသူအားခေါ်ခဲ့ပါ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုသူသည်အနီးသို့ရောက်လျှင်၊-
Jesus stood still and commanded that the man be brought to him. Then when the blind man was near, Jesus asked him,
41 ၄၁ ကိုယ်တော်က ``သင့်အတွက်အဘယ်အရာကို ပြုစေလိုသနည်း'' ဟုမေးတော်မူ၏။ မျက်မမြင်က ``အရှင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်အားမျက်စိ မြင်စေတော်မူပါ'' ဟုလျှောက်၏။
“What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, I want to receive my sight.”
42 ၄၂ သခင်ယေရှုက ``မျက်စိမြင်စေ။ သင်၏ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းသည်သင့်မျက်စိကိုမြင်စေပြီ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you.”
43 ၄၃ ထိုခဏ၌သူသည်မျက်စိမြင်လာ၏။ ထိုနောက် ဘုရားသခင်၏ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုချီးကူး လျက် ကိုယ်တော်၏နောက်သို့လိုက်လေ၏။ ထိုအခြင်း အရာကိုမြင်လျှင် လူအပေါင်းတို့သည်ဘုရား သခင်၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကိုချီးကူးကြကုန်၏။
Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw this, gave praise to God.
