1 Bhateshalonike 5
1 Ikabheje bhakilishitu ajetunji, tukapinga kunnjandishilanga ga malanga na mobha pugapinga koposhela genego.
Concerning now the times and the seasons, brothers, no need you have to you to be written;
2 Pabha mmanganyanji mwashaayenenji mmumanyinji kuti lyubha lya Bhakulungwa shiliishe mbuti sha kwiya nngwii shilo.
Yourselves for fully you know that (the *k*) day of [the] Lord as a thief by night in this manner comes;
3 Bhandu bhalinkutinji, “Ulele na ushalama,” penepo ni pushiukoposhele mpaulo shangupe! Mbuti poteka kwa shitumbo nkwiigopola, wala jwakwapi shatoloshe.
when (for *k*) they may say; Peace and security, then suddenly upon them comes destruction as the labor pains to her in womb [pregnancy] having, and certainly not shall they escape.
4 Ikabheje mmanganyanji bhakilishitu ajetunji, nkatamangananga nnubhindu kuti lyene lyubhalyo linng'imananje mbuti ngwii.
You yourselves however, brothers, not are in darkness, that the day you like (a thief *NK(O)*) may grasp;
5 Pabha mmowe mmwe nshibhanganga nshilangaya, bhandunji bha mui. Uwe nngabha tubhandu bha shilo wala bha lubhindu.
All (for *no*) you yourselves sons of light are and sons of day; Not we are of night nor of darkness.
6 Bhai, tunagone lugono malinga bhananji, ikabhe tusheye na tunapunde.
So then not we may sleep as (also *k*) the others but we may watch and we may be sober.
7 Pabha bhaagonanga lugono pubhagonanga shilo, na bhakolelwanga, pubhakolelwanga shilo.
Those for sleeping by night sleep and those becoming drunk by night get drunk;
8 Ikabheje uwe tuli bha kushilangaya tunapunde. Mitima jetu tujibhishe muulinda kwa ngulupai na pingana, na kukulupalila kwetu ga ntapulo, kubhe mbuti kopiya ja shitale.
We ourselves however of [the] day being may be sober having put on [the] breastplate of faith and love and [the] helmet [the] hope of salvation;
9 Pabha a Nnungu bhangatuagula tupotekwe na nnjimwa jabho, ikabhe tutapulwe na Bhakulungwa bhetu a Yeshu Kilishitu,
because not has destined us God for wrath but for obtaining salvation through the Lord of us Jesus Christ
10 bhabhulegwe kwa ligongo lyetu, nkupinga tutame nabho pamo ibhe tubhabhakoto eu tuwile.
the [One who] having died (for *NK(o)*) us, so that whether we shall watch or we shall sleep together with Him we may live.
11 Kwa nneyo, ntagananje ntima na jangutana mwaashayenenji malinga shinkutendangasho.
Therefore do encourage one another and do build up one another even as also you are doing.
12 Bhai ashaalongo, tunakunnjuganga mwaishimunji bhatumbilanga kutenda liengo munkumbi gwenunji, nikunnongoyanga kwa a Kilishitu, na kunneyanga bhala.
We implore however you, brothers, to know those toiling among you and taking the lead over you in [the] Lord and admonishing you
13 Mwaishimunji na kwapinganga kwa ligongo lya liengo libhatendanga. Mmanganje na ulele munkumbi gwenunji.
and to esteem them super overexcessively super overexcessively super overexcessively in love because of the work of them. do be at peace among (yourselves. *NK(O)*)
14 Ashaalongo tunakunshondelesheyanga, mwaaleyanje bhandunji bhakata, mwaataganje ntima bhawilenje ntima, na kwaajangutilanga bhangalinginji mashili, mwiilumanje ntima na bhandu bhowe.
We exhort now you, brothers, do admonish the unruly, do encourage the fainthearted, do help the weak, do be patient toward all.
15 Nnolanje, mundu jojowe anannipe nnjakwe yangali ya mmbone, ikabhe ntendelananje uguja mwaashayenenji na kubhandu bhowe.
do see that no one evil for evil to anyone may repay, but always the good do pursue also toward one another and toward all.
16 Nng'angalalanje mobha gowe,
Always do rejoice;
17 nnjuganje gwangali totoshela,
Unceasingly do pray;
18 na ntendanje eja kwa kila shindu. Pabha genego ni gubhapinga a Nnungu kungwenunji, nkulundana na a Yeshu Kilishitu.
In everything do give thanks; this for [is the] will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
19 Nnanng'ibhililanje Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo,
The Spirit not do quench;
20 nnanyegayanje malobhe ga ashinkulondola,
Prophecies not do despise;
21 nkagulilanje kila shindu, na bhika muntima shili sha mmbone,
All things (now *no*) do test; To the good do hold fast;
22 mwiepuyanje na yangali ya mmbone yowe.
From every form of evil do abstain.
23 A Nnungu bhayene bhakutupa ulele bhantakayanje kwa kaje mitima jenunji, na ng'aniyo yenunji, na iilu yenunji mmikwanje ukoto, nnakolanje sha gambwa malanga gushibhaishe Bhakulungwa bhetu a Yeshu Kilishitu.
Himself now the God of peace would sanctify you completely, and entirely your spirit and soul and body blameless at the coming of the Lord of us Jesus Christ would be preserved.
24 Bhene bhakunshemanga bhala shibhatende genego, pabha ni bhaakulupalika.
[Is] faithful the [One] calling you, who also will do [it].
25 Bhakilishitu ajetunji, ntujujilanje na uwe.
Brothers, do pray (also *no*) for us.
26 Mwaalamushilanje Bhakilishitu ajetunji bhowe, nkupingana kwa ukonjelo.
do greet the brothers all with a kiss holy.
27 Ngunakunkwiyanga kwa lina lya Bhakulungwa, mwaashomelanje jene bhaluwa jino Bhakilishitu ajetunji bhowe.
(I adjure *N(k)O*) you [by] the Lord to be read [this] letter to all the (saints *K*) brothers.
28 Nema ja Bhakulungwa bhetu a Yeshu Kilishitu, jibhe na mmanganyanji.
The grace of the Lord of us Jesus Christ [be] with you. (Amen. *KO*) (to Thessalonica first It was written from Athens. *K*)
