1 John 3
1 Yeng-u, eikhoibu Tengban Mapugi machasing koubinaba Ipana eikhoigi ithakta kayagi matik nungsibire! Madumak eikhoi oiribani! Taibangpanna eikhoibu khangdabagi maramdi taibangpanna Ibungo mahakpu khangde.
Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God l For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Achanbasa, houjik eikhoi Tengban Mapugi machasingni aduga eikhoi kari oigadage haiba houjik phaoba phongdokpidri. Adubu Christtabu phongdokpiba matamda eikhoi mahak man-gani maramdi mahakna oiribagumna eikhoina mahakpu ugani haiba eikhoina khang-i.
Beloved, now are we children of God, and it hath not yet been manifested what we shall be. We know that, when it shall be manifested, we shall be like him; because we shall see him as he is.
3 Christtada asa asi leiba mi khudingmakna, Ibungona sengba oibagumna makhoi masabu sengdokchei.
And every one that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.
4 Pap touba mi khudingna wayel yathangbu thugai; tasengna hairabada, papti wayel yathang thugaibani.
Whoever committeth sin transgresseth thereby the law; for sin is a transgression of the law.
5 Adubu Christtana eikhoigi pap louthokpinaba Ibungo mahak phongdokpire haiba nakhoina khang-i. Ibungoda pap amata leite.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Ibungonda leiba mi amatana pap touduna leite. Pap touduna leiriba mi amatana Ibungo mahakpu usu-udri amasung khangsu-khangdri.
Whoever abideth in him sinneth not; whoever sinneth hath not seen him, nor known him.
7 Eigi nungsiraba angangsa, mi kana amatana nakhoibu lanna lamjing-han-ganu. Ibungona achumba chatpagumna achumba touriba mahak adu achumba chatpani.
My children, let no one deceive you; he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 Papki thabak touriba mahak adu Devil-dagini, maramdi Devil-di ahoubadagi houna pap tourakli. Tengban Mapugi machanupa adubu phongdokpibagi maramdi Devil-gi thabak manghannabani.
He that committeth sin is of the Devil; for the Devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the Devil.
9 Tengban Mapudagi poklaba kana amatana pap touduna leiroi, maramdi Tengban Mapugi maru adu makhoida lei; makhoina pap makha tana touduna leiba ngamde, maramdi makhoi Tengban Mapudagi poklabani.
Whoever hath been born of God doth not commit sin, because his seed abideth in him; and he cannot sin, because he hath been born of God.
10 Matou asumna Tengban Mapugi machasing adu kanano amasung Devil-gi machasing adu kanano haiba eikhoina khang-i: achumba toudaba mahak adu Tengban Mapugi macha natte aduga machin manaobu nungsidaba mahak adusu natte.
In this are manifest the children of God and the children of the Devil. Whoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, and he that loveth not his brother.
11 Nakhoina ahoubadagi taraba paojel adu asini: Eikhoi amaga amaga nungsinagadabani.
For this is the message that ye have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;
12 Phattaba Mahak adugi oiduna Cain-na manao nupa Abel-bu hatpagumna eikhoi oiroidabani. Karigidamak mahakna manao nupabu hatkhibano? Maramdi mahakna toubasing adu aranba oirammi adubu mahakki manao nupana toubasing adu achumba oirammi.
not as Cain was of the Evil One, and slew his brother. And wherefore did he slay him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Eigi ichil inaosa, taibangpanna nakhoibu tukkacharabadi maduda ngakkanu.
Wonder not, brethren, if the world hateth you.
14 Eikhoidi sibadagi hingbada lanthokle haiba eikhoina khang-i, maramdi eikhoi amaga amaga nungsinei. Nungsidaba mahak adu sibada leiri.
We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren; he that loveth not abideth in death.
15 Machin manaobu tukkachaba mahak adu mihatpani, mihatpa mi amatada lomba naidaba hingba leite haiba nakhoina khang-i. (aiōnios g166)
Whoever hateth his brother is a murderer; and ye know that no murderer hath everlasting life abiding in him. (aiōnios g166)
16 Matou asumna nungsiba asi karino haiba eikhoina khang-i: Jisu Christtana eikhoigidamak mahakki thawai katthokpi. Madu oirabadi, eikhoinasu ichil inaosinggidamak eikhoigi thawai katthokpham thok-i.
Herein we know love, in that he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 Lan thum leiba kanagumba amana mahakki machin manaosinggi awatpa adu uraga makhoigidamak mangonda nungsibiba leitrabadi, karamna Tengban Mapugi nungsiba adu mangonda leibage?
But whoever hath this world's goods, and seeth his brother having need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 Eigi nungsiraba angangsa, eikhoina waheitana nattraga ngangbatana nungsigumsi, adubu thabakna amasung achumbana nungsisi.
My children, let us not love in word, nor in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
19 Matou asumna eikhoi achumba adugini haiba khang-i amasung eikhoigi thammoibu Ibungogi mangda langtaknaba yaodana eikhoibu leihalli.
And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him;
20 Eikhoigi thammoina eikhoibu lalhallabadi, Tengban Mapuna eikhoigi thammoidagi henna chao-i amasung Ibungona pumnamak khangbi haiba eikhoina khang-i.
because if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Achanbasa, eikhoigi thammoina eikhoibu lalhandrabadi, Tengban Mapugi mangda eikhoigi thouna phaba lei.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have confidence toward God;
22 Eikhoina Ibungo mahakki yathang ngakpa amasung mahakki apenba adu touba maramna eikhoigi nijaba makhei eikhoina mangondagi phangjei.
and whatever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 Mahakki yathang adudi: mahakki Machanupa Jisu Christtagi mingda thajaba amasung Christtana eikhoida yathang pibagumna eikhoi amaga amaga nungsinaba aduni.
And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and should love one another, as he gave commandment.
24 Tengban Mapugi yathang ngakpa mahak adu Ibungo mangonda lei amasung Ibungo mahakna mangonda lei. Tengban Mapuna eikhoida pibiba Thawai adugi mapanna Tengban Mapuna eikhoida lei haiba eikhoina khang-i.
And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him; and hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit, which he gave us.
