ലേവ്യപുസ്തകം 24
1 യഹോവ മോശയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു:

2 “വിളക്കുകൾ നിരന്തരം കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഇടിച്ചുപിഴിഞ്ഞെടുത്ത തെളിഞ്ഞ ഒലിവെണ്ണ വിളക്കിനുവേണ്ടി നിന്റെയടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു കൽപ്പിക്കുക.

3 സമാഗമകൂടാരത്തിൽ ഉടമ്പടിയുടെ പേടകത്തിന്റെ തിരശ്ശീലയ്ക്കു പുറത്തു സന്ധ്യമുതൽ പ്രഭാതംവരെ വിളക്കുകൾ കത്തേണ്ടതിന്, യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ അഹരോൻ അവ നിരന്തരം ഒരുക്കിവെക്കണം. ഇതു വരുന്ന തലമുറകളിലേക്ക് എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള അനുഷ്ഠാനമാണ്.

4 യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ തങ്കനിലവിളക്കിന്മേലുള്ള വിളക്കുകൾ നിരന്തരം ഒരുക്കിവെക്കണം.

5 “നേർമയുള്ള മാവ് എടുത്ത് ഒരു അപ്പത്തിനു രണ്ട് ഓമെർവീതം ഉപയോഗിച്ചു പന്ത്രണ്ട് അപ്പം ചുടണം.
and to take: take fine flour and to bake [obj] her two ten bun two tenth to be [the] bun [the] one
6 യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെയുള്ള തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുള്ള മേശമേൽ ഒരു വരിയിൽ ആറുവീതം രണ്ട് അടുക്കായി അവ വെക്കുക.
and to set: make [obj] them two row six [the] row upon [the] table [the] pure to/for face: before LORD
7 ഓരോ അടുക്കിന്മേലും ശുദ്ധമായ കുന്തിരിക്കം വെക്കണം, സ്മാരകഭാഗമായി അപ്പത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കാനും യഹോവയ്ക്കു ദഹനയാഗമായിരിക്കാനുംവേണ്ടിയാണിത്.

8 ഇസ്രായേല്യർക്കുവേണ്ടി ഒരു നിത്യ ഉടമ്പടിയായി ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും ഈ അപ്പം യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ ക്രമമായി അടുക്കിവെക്കണം.

9 അത് അഹരോനും പുത്രന്മാർക്കുമുള്ളതാണ്; യഹോവയ്ക്ക് അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളിൽ അതിവിശുദ്ധമാണ് ഈ അപ്പം. അത് അവർക്കു ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായുള്ളതാകുകയാൽ അവർ അതു ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു ഭക്ഷിക്കണം.”

11 ഇസ്രായേല്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകൻ തിരുനാമം ദുഷിച്ചു ശപിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ അവനെ മോശയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. അവന്റെ അമ്മ ദാൻഗോത്രത്തിലെ ദിബ്രിയുടെ മകളായ ശെലോമീത്ത് ആയിരുന്നു.

12 യഹോവയുടെഹിതം വ്യക്തമാകുന്നതുവരെ അവർ അവനെ തടവിൽവെച്ചു.

13 പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു:

14 “ദൈവദൂഷണക്കാരനെ പാളയത്തിനുപുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകുക; അവനെ കേട്ടവരെല്ലാവരും അവരുടെ കൈകൾ അവന്റെ തലമേൽ വെക്കണം, പിന്നീട് സഭമുഴുവനും അവനെ കല്ലെറിയണം.

15 ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയുക: ‘ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ശപിച്ചാൽ അവൻ കുറ്റക്കാരനാകും;

16 യഹോവയുടെ നാമം ദുഷിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തിയെ കൊല്ലണം. സഭമുഴുവനും ആ മനുഷ്യനെ കല്ലെറിയണം. പ്രവാസിയായാലും സ്വദേശിയായാലും യഹോവയുടെ നാമം ദുഷിക്കുന്നവർ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കണം.
and to curse name LORD to die to die to stone to stone in/on/with him all [the] congregation like/as sojourner like/as born in/on/with to curse he name to die
17 “‘ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കണം.
and man: anyone for to smite all soul: life man to die to die
18 ഒരാളുടെ മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മൃഗത്തിനുപകരം മൃഗത്തെ കൊടുക്കണം—ജീവനുപകരം ജീവൻ.
and to smite soul: life animal to complete her soul: life underneath: instead soul: life
19 ഒരാൾ തന്റെ അയൽവാസിയെ മുറിവേൽപ്പിച്ചാൽ, അയാൾ ചെയ്തപ്രകാരംതന്നെ ആ മനുഷ്യനോടു ചെയ്യണം.
and man: anyone for to give: do blemish in/on/with neighbor his like/as as which to make: do so to make: do to/for him
20 ഒടിവിനു പകരം ഒടിവ്, കണ്ണിനുപകരം കണ്ണ്, പല്ലിനുപകരം പല്ല്. ഒരാൾ മറ്റേയാളെ എങ്ങനെ മുറിപ്പെടുത്തിയോ അങ്ങനെതന്നെ അയാളെയും മുറിപ്പെടുത്തണം.

21 ഒരു മൃഗത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം കൊടുക്കണം; എന്നാൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കണം.
and to smite animal to complete her and to smite man to die
22 പ്രവാസിക്കും സ്വദേശിക്കും ഒരേ നിയമംതന്നെയായിരിക്കണം. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.’”

23 ദൈവദൂഷണക്കാരനെ പാളയത്തിനുപുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി കല്ലെറിയണമെന്ന് മോശ ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. യഹോവ മോശയോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ചെയ്തു.
