< Salamo 80 >
1 Toloro ravembia ry Mpiarak’ Israele, ry Mpiaolo’ Iosefe hoe t’ie lia-raike; ry Mpiambesatse ambone’ o kerobeo, mireandreaña!
[For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "The Lilies of the Covenant." A Psalm by Asaph.] Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine forth.
2 Tsekafo añatrefa’ i Efraime naho i Beniamine naho i Menase ty haozara’o vaho mb’etoa hañimba anay!
Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might. Come to save us.
3 Ry Andrianañahare, Ampolio zahay naho ampireandreaño laharañe, soa te ho tra-drombake zahay.
Restore us, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
4 O ry Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i Màroy, pak’ombia ty mbe hiviñera’o ty halali’ ondati’oo?
LORD God of hosts, How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
5 Nazotso’o mofon-dranom-pihaino, naho nampigenohe’o ranomaso am-pitovy telo.
You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.
6 Ampanivetivè’o ondaty mañohok’anaio; vaho vereverè’ o rafelahi’aio.
You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies have mocked us.
7 Ry Andrianañahare’ i Màroy. Ampolio zahay, ampireandreaño ty lahara’o, soa t’ie ho tra-drombake.
Restore us, God of hosts. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
8 Nitsongoe’o boak’e Mitsraime ty vahe; rinoa’o o kilakila‘ndatio naho naketsa’o.
You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.
9 Nihatsafe’o ty tane aolo’e eo, naho nampandaleke o vaha’eo, vaho nanitsife’o i taney.
You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.
10 Nikopahe’ i alo’ey o vohitseo; naho o tsampa’eo o mendoraveñe ra’elahio.
The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God's cedars.
11 Nandrevake mb’amy riakey o ra’eo, naho pak’amy sakay añe o tora’eo.
It sent out its branches to the sea, Its shoots to the River.
12 Aa vaho akore ty nandrotsaha’o o fahe’eo, hitimpona’ ze miary eo,
Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass by the way pluck it?
13 Troatroae’ ty lambon’ ala, vaho abotse’ ze misitsitse an-kivoke ey.
The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.
14 Ry Andrianañahare’ i màroy, Ehe, Mibaliha, mijilova boak’ an-dikerañe ao naho vazoho vaho tiliho ty vahe toy,
Return, we beg you, God of hosts. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
15 Eka! i tora’e naketsam-pitàn-kavana’oy, i ana-dahy nampaozare’o ho Azoy,
the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.
16 finorototo’ ty afo, finira, mihomake ami’ty fitrevohan-dahara’o.
It's burned with fire. It's cut down. They perish at your rebuke.
17 Anampezo fitàñe indatim-pitàn-kavana’oy, i ana’ ondaty nampifatrare’o ho Azoy.
Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
18 Vaho tsy hiambohoa’ay; Ehe sotraho, hikanjia’ay ty tahina’o.
So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Ry Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i Màroy; Ampolio zahay, ampireandreaño ama’ay ty lahara’o, vaho ho tra-drombake.
Restore us, LORD God of hosts. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
