Romana 15

1 Fa isika izay matanjaka dia tokony hitondra ny fahalemen’ ny malemy ka tsy hitady izay hahafaly ny tenantsika ihany.

We, then, who are strong, ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

2 Aoka isika rehetra samy hitady izay hahafaly ny namantsika amin’ izay hahasoa sy hampandroso azy.

Wherefore, let every one of us please his neighbor, as far as it is good for edification.

3 Fa Kristy aza tsy nitady izay hahafaly ny tenany; fa araka ny voasoratra hoe: Ny latsa nataon’ izay nandatsa Anao dia nihatra tamiko.

For even Christ sought not his own pleasure: but, as it is written, "The reproaches of them who reproached you, have fallen on me."

4 Fa izay rehetra voasoratra fahiny dia nosoratana ho fianarantsika hananantsika ny fanantenana amin’ ny faharetana sy ny fiononana avy amin’ ny Soratra Masìna.

Now whatever things were before written, were written for our instruction: that through the patience and admonition of the scriptures, we might have hope.

5 Fa Andriamanitry ny faharetana sy ny fiononana anie hampiray hevitra anareo araka an’ i Kristy Jesosy,

Now, may the God who gives patience and admonition, give to you mutual unity of sentiment, according to Christ Jesus.

6 mba ho saina iray sy vava iray no hiarahanareo mankalaza an’ Andriamanitra, Rain’ i Jesosy Kristy Tompontsika.

That with one mind, and with one voice, you may glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7 Koa mifandraisa ianareo tahaka ny nandraisan’ i Kristy anareo koa ho voninahitr’ Andriamanitra.

Wherefore, cordially receive one another; even as Christ also has received us to the glory of God.

8 Fa lazaiko fa Kristy efa tonga mpanompon’ ny voafora noho ny fahamarinan’ Andriamanitra hahatò ny teny fikasana tamin’ ny razana,

Now, I affirm that Jesus Christ became a minister of the circumcision on account of the truth of God, in order to confirm the promises made to the fathers;

9 mba hankalazan’ ny jentilisa an’ Andriamanitra koa noho ny famindram-po, araka ny voasoratra hoe: Izany no hiderako Anao any amin’ ny jentilisa Sy hankalazako ny anaranao.

and that the Gentiles might praise God on account of mercy: as it is written, "For this cause I will glorify thee among the Gentiles, and sing to thy name."

10 Ary hoy koa Izy: Miravoravoa, ry jentilisa, mbamin’ ny olony.

And again he says, "Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people."

11 Ary koa: Midera’ an’ i Jehovah, ry jentilisa rehetra. Ary aoka hankalaza Azy ny firenena rehetra.

And again, "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; and extol him, all you people."

12 Ary hoy koa Isaia: Hisy Solofon’ i Jese. Dia Ilay hitsangana hanapaka ny jentilisa; Izy no hitokian’ ny jentilisa.

And again, Isaiah says, to be a leader of the Gentiles; upon him shall the Gentiles place their hope."

13 Ary Andriamanitry ny fanantenana anie hameno anareo amin’ ny fifaliana sy ny fiadanana rehetra amin’ ny finoanareo, mba hitomboanareo amin’ ny fanantenana noho ny herin’ ny Fanahy Masìna.

Now, may the God of hope fill you with all joy, and peace, in believing; in order that you may abound in that hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

14 Fa izaho koa, ry rahalahiko, dia matoky ny aminareo fa feno fahatsarana ianareo sady mahay mifananatra koa.

However, my brethren, I myself am persuaded concerning you, that you also are full of goodness, being filled with all knowledge; able, also, to instruct one another.

15 Kanefa amin’ ny fahasahiana no anoratako ny teny sasany aminareo, toy ny mampahatsiaro anareo indray noho ny fahasoavana nomen’ Andriamanitra ahy,

But, I have written the more boldly to you, brethren; partly, as calling things to your remembrance through the favor which is given me of God.

16 mba ho mpanompon’ i Kristy Jesosy ho an’ ny jentilisa aho ka manao fanompoam-pivavahana amin’ ny itoriako ny filazantsaran’ Andriamanitra, mba horaisina amin’ ny fankasitrahana ny fanatitra, dia ny jentilisa, rehefa nohamasinin’ ny Fanahy Masìna.

In order to my being a minister of Jesus Christ, among the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that there might be an offering of the Gentiles most acceptable; being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

17 Ka dia manana izay hataoko rehareha ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy aho noho ny amin’ Andriamanitra.

I have, therefore, glorifying, through Christ Jesus, with respect to things pertaining to God.

18 Fa tsy sahiko lazaina izay zavatra tsy nampanaovin’ i Kristy ahy, na tamin’ ny teny, na tamin’ ny asa, mba hampanaiky ny jentilisa,

But, I will not dare to speak anything of what Christ has not wrought; but, of what he has wrought, by me, in order to the obedience of the Gentiles in word and deed;

19 dia tamin’ ny herin’ ny famantarana sy ny fahagagana, ary tamin’ ny herin’ ny Fanahy Masìna, dia hatrany Jerosalema ka manodidina hatrany Ilyrikiona, no nahatanterahako ny fitoriako ny filazantsaran’ i Kristy.

by the power of signs and wonders, and by the power of the Holy Spirit: so that from Jerusalem, and round about, as far as Illyricum, I have fully declared the gospel of Christ;

20 Koa dia nataoko ho voninahitro ny hitory ny filazantsara toy izao: tsy eo amin’ izay efa niantsoana an’ i Kristy anefa, fandrao hanovona eo ambonin’ izay efa naorin’ ny sasany aho;

and so, also, that I was strongly desirous to declare the gospel where Christ was not named, that I might not build on another's foundation.

21 fa araka ny voasoratra hoe: Izay tsy nilazana Azy no hahita, Ary izay tsy nandre no hahafantatra.

But, as it is written, "They shall see, to whom nothing has been told concerning him; and they who have not heard, shall understand."

22 Ary izany no nahasampona ahy matetika tsy hankany aminareo.

For which reason, also, I have been greatly hindered from coming to you.

23 Fa ankehitriny, satria tsy misy antony intsony ny itoerako amin’ ireto tany ireto sady efa naniry hatramin’ ny taona maro hankany aminareo aho,

But now, having no more place in these parts, and having for many years a strong desire to come to you,

24 raha mankany Spania; fa manantena hahita anareo amin’ ny alehako aho ka haterinareo ho any, rehefa afakafaka ny alaheloko anareo.

whensoever I go toward Spain, I hope, as I pass on, to see you, and to be brought on my way thither by you, when I shall first, in some measure, be satisfied with your company.

25 Fa ankehitriny dia efa hankany Jerosalema aho hanompo ny olona masìna.

But now I go to Jerusalem, ministering to the saints;

26 Fa efa sitrapon’ Makedonia sy Akaia ny hamory vola hiantrana ny malahelo amin’ ny olona masìna any Jerosalema.

for Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor of the saints who are in Jerusalem.

27 Eny, sitrapony izany, sady mpitrosa aminy izy. Fa raha ny jentilisa no niombona ny zava-panahy taminy, dia tokony hanompo azy kosa amin’ ny zavatra momba ny nofo izy.

They have been pleased, indeed; and their debtors they are: for if the Gentiles have partaken of their spiritual things, they ought certainly to minister to them in temporal things.

28 Ary rehefa vitako izany, ka voatolotro azy soa aman-tsara izany vokatra izany, dia hihazo any aminareo aho, raha mankany Spania.

Wherefore, having finished this affair, and having sealed to them this fruit, I will go from thence by you into Spain.

29 Ary fantatro fa raha mankany aminareo aho, dia homba ahy ny fahafenoan’ ny fitahian’ i Kristy.

And I know when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.

30 Ary mangataka aminareo aho, ry rahalahy, noho ny amin’ i Jesosy Kristy Tompontsika sy ny fitiavana avy amin’ ny Fanahy, mba hiarahanareo miezaka amiko amin’ ny fivavahanareo amin’ Andriamanitra ho ahy,

Now, I beseech you, brethren, by the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me, by prayers for me to God;

31 mba ho voavonjy amin’ ny tsy mino any Jodia aho, ary mba hankasitrahan’ ny ny olona masìna izay fanompoana hataoko any Jerosalema,

that I may be delivered from the disobedient in Judea; and that my service, which I am performing for Jerusalem, may be acceptable to the saints:

32 mba hankanesako any aminareo amin’ ny fifaliana, raha sitrapon’ Andriamanitra, ka samy ho velombelona ny fontsika.

that in joy I may come to you, through the will of God, and may be refreshed among you.

33 Ary Andriamanitry ny fiadanana anie ho aminareo rehetra. Amena.
