< Romana 14 >

1 Ary raiso ny malemy finoana, nefa aza, mandray azy hitsaranareo ny eritreriny.
Receive him who is weak in the faith, without regard to differences of opinions.
2 Ny anankiray mino fa mahazo mihinana ny zavatra rehatra izy, fa ny anankiray kosa malemy finoana, ka dia mihinana zava-maniry ihany.
One, indeed, believes he may eat everything; but he who is weak eats herbs only.
3 Aoka ny mihinana tsy hanamavo ny tsy mihinana; ary aoka kosa ny tsy mihinana tsy hitsara ny mihinana; fa Andriamanitra no efa nandray ary.
Let not him who eats, despise him who eats not; and let not him who eats not, condemn him who eats: for God has received him.
4 Iza moa ianao izay mitsara ny mpanompon’ ny hafa? Amin’ ny tompony ihany no ijoroany na ahalavoany. Nefa hampitoerina ihany izy; fa mahay mampitoetra azy ny Tompo.
Who are you that condemn another man's servant? By his own master he stands or falls; and he shall be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
5 Ny anankiray manao ny andro anankiray ho mihoatra noho ny andro sasany; ary ny anankiray kosa manao ny andro rehetra hitovy. Aoka samy hatoky tsara ao amin’ ny sainy avy izy.
One, indeed, thinks one day more holy than another: but another thinks every day alike. Let every one be convinced in his own mind.
6 Ny mitandrina ny andro dia mitandrina izany ho an’ ny Tompo. Ary ny mihinana dia mihinana ho an’ ny Tompo, satria misaotra an’ Andriamanitra izy; ary ny tsy mihinana kosa dia tsy mihinana ho an’ ny Tompo, sady misaotra an’ Andriamanitra koa izy.
He who observes the day, observe it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day to the Lord, does not observe it: he who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks.
7 Fa tsy misy velon-ko an’ ny tenany isika, ary tsy misy maty ho an’ ny tenany.
For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself.
8 Fa raha velona isika, dia velona ho an’ ny Tompo; ary raha maty isika, dia maty ho an’ ny Tompo; koa amin’ izany, na velona na maty isika, dia an’ ny Tompo ihany.
But whether we live, we live to the Lord; and whether we die, we die to the Lord: whether we live, therefore, ot die, we are the Lord's.
9 Fa izany no nahafatesan’ i Kristy sy nahavelomany indray, mba ho Tompon’ ny maty sy ny velona Izy.
For to this end, Christ both dies and rose, and lives again, that he might rule over both the dead and the living.
10 Fa nahoana ianao no mitsara ny rahalahinao? Ary nahoana kosa ianao no manao tsinontsinona ny rahalahinao? Fa samy hiseho eo anoloan’ ny fitsaran’ Andriamanitra isika rehetra.
But you, why do you condemn your brother? and you, also, why do you despise your brother? for we shall all be placed before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 Fa voasoratra hoe: Raha velona koa Aho, hoy Jehovah, ny lohalika rehetra handohalika amiko, Ary ny lela rehetra hidera an’ Andriamanitra.
For it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, surely every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
12 Koa samy hampamoahin’ Andriamanitra ny amin’ ny tenany avy isika rehetra.
Well, then, every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.
13 Koa aza mifampitsara intsony isika; fa aleo mihevitra izao, dia ny tsy hanisy fandavoana na fanafintohinana eo anoloan’ ny rahalahy.
Let us, therefore, no more judge one another; but let us decide, rather, not to lay an occasion of stumbling before a brother, or a cause of falling.
14 Mahalala sady matoky ao amin’ i Jesosy Tompo aho fa tsy misy zavatra maloto ho azy; fa raha misy manao zavatra ho maloto, dia aminy ihany no maloto izany.
I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself; yet, to him who accounts anything to be unclean, to that man it is unclean.
15 Fa raha mampalahelo ny rahalahinao ny fihinanao, dia tsy mba manaraka ny fitiavana intsony ianao. Aza ny fihinanao no animbanao azy, fa efa maty Kristy hamonjy azy.
Now, if your brother be hurt through your meat, you no longer walk as love requires. Do not destroy him with your meat for whom Christ died.
16 Aoka ary tsy mba hotenenina ratsy ny fahasoavana azonareo.
Let not your good, then, be an evil spoken of.
17 Fa ny fanjakan’ Andriamanitra dia tsy amin’ ny fihinanana sy ny fisotroana, fa fahamarinana sy fiadanana ary fifaliana ao amin’ ny Fanahy Masìna.
For the Reign of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness and peace, and joy, in the Holy Spirit.
18 Fa izay manompo an’ i Kristy amin’ izany zavatra izany no sitrak’ Andriamanitra sy eken’ ny olona fa tsara.
And he who, by these things, serves Christ, is acceptable to God, and approved by men.
19 Koa dia aoka isika hiezaka hitady ny momba ny fiadanana sy ny momba ny fifampandrosoana.
Well, then, let us strive after peace, and mutual edification.
20 Aza izay hanina no andravanao ny asan’ Andriamanitra. Madio avokoa ny zavatra rehetra, nefa ratsy ho an’ ny olona izay mihinana amin’ ny fahatafintohinana.
Do not, for the sake of meat, destroy the work of God. All meats, indeed, are clean; but that meat is hurtful to the man who eats to occasion stumbling.
21 Fa tsara ny tsy mihinana hena, na misotro divay, na manao izay hahatafintohina ny rahalahinao.
It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor to do anything by which your brother is made to stumble, or to fall, or is weakened.
22 Ny finoana izay anananao dia hazòny ho anao eo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra. Sambatra izay tsy manameloka ny tenany amin’ izay zavatra ekeny.
You have faith: keep it to yourself, in the sight of God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.
23 Fa izay miahanahana dia meloka raha homana, satria tsy avy amin’ ny finoana izany; fa ota izay rehetra tsy avy amin’ ny finoana.
For he who discerns a difference, between meats is condemned, if he eat; because he eats not from faith: for what is not from faith is sin.
