1 Miderà an’ i Jehovah, fa tsara Izy; Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony.
Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
2 Midera an’ Andriamanitra Avo Indrindra; Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony.
Thank God, the one who is greater than all other gods; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
3 Miderà ny Tompon’ ny tompo; Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony;
Thank the Lord who is greater than all other lords/rulers; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
4 Izy irery no Mpanao fahagagan-dehibe (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He is the only one who performs great miracles; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
5 Izay nanao ny lanitra tamin’ ny fahendrena (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He is the one who by being very wise created the heavens; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
6 Izay namelatra ny tany ho ambonin’ ny rano, (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He is the one who caused the ground to rise up above the deep waters; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
7 Izay nanao ireo fanazavana lehibe (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He is the one who created great lights [in the sky]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
8 Dia ny masoandro ho mpanapaka ny andro (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He created the sun to shine in the daytime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
9 Ary ny volana sy ny kintana ho mpanapaka ny alina (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He created the moon and stars to shine during the nighttime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
10 Izay namely ny voalohan-terak’ i Egypta, (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony)
He is the one who killed the firstborn [males] in Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
11 Ka nitondra ny Isiraely nivoaka avy teo aminy (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He led the Israeli people out of Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
12 Tamin’ ny tanana mahery sy ny sandry nahinjitra (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
With his (strong hand/great power) he led them out; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
13 Izay nampisaraka ny Ranomasina Mena (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He is the one who caused the Red Sea to divide; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
14 Ka nampandeha ny Isiraely namaky teo afovoany (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He enabled the Israeli people to walk through it [on dry land]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
15 Fa nanary an’ i Farao sy ny miaramilany tao anatin’ ny Ranomasina Mena (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
But he caused the king of Egypt and his army to drown in it; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
16 Izay nitondra ny olony nitety ny efitra (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He is the one who led his people [safely through the desert]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
17 Izay namely mpanjaka lehibe (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He killed powerful kings; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
18 Ka nahafaty mpanjaka malaza (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He killed kings who were famous; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
19 Dia Sihona, mpanjakan’ ny Amorita (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He killed Sihon, the king of the Amor people-group; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
20 Sy Oga, mpanjakan’ i Basana (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He killed Og, the king of Bashan [region]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
21 Ary ny taniny nomeny ho lova (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He gave their lands to us, his people; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
22 Dia ho lovan’ ny Isiraely mpanompony (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He gave those lands to us people of Israel, who serve him; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
23 Izay nahatsiaro antsika fony isika ambany toetra (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He is the one who did not forget about us when we were defeated [by our enemies]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
24 Ka naneho hery namonjy antsika ho afaka tamin’ ny fahavalontsika (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony),
He rescued us from our enemies; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
25 Izay manome hanina ny nofo rehetra (Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony);
He is the one who gives food to all living creatures; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
26 Miderà an’ Andriamanitry ny lanitra; Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony.
[So] thank God, [who lives in] heaven, [for all those things], because his faithful love [for us] endures forever!
