Isaia 66
1 Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Ny lanitra no seza fiandrianako, Ary ny tany no fitoeran-tongotro; Trano manao ahoana no hataonareo ho Ahy? Ary fitoerana manao ahoana no ho fitsaharako?
Thus said YHWH: “The heavens [are] My throne, And the earth My footstool, Where [is] this—the house that you build for Me? And where [is] this—the place—My rest?
2 Fa izao zavatra izao no nataon’ ny tanako. Ka dia ary izao rehetra izao, hoy Jehovah; Nefa izao no olona hotsinjoviko, Dia izay malahelo sy torotoro fanahy Sady mangovitra noho ny teniko.
And My hand has made all these, And all these things are,” A declaration of YHWH! “And to this one I look attentively, To the humble and bruised in spirit, And who is trembling at My word.
3 Izay mamono omby dia hoatra ny mamono olona; Izay mamono ondry hatao fanatitra dia hoatra ny mamolaka ny vozon’ alika; Izay manatitra fanatitra hohanina dia hoatra ny manatitra ran-kisoa; Izay mandoro ditin-kazo mani-pofona ho fanati-pahatsiarovana dia hoatra ny misaotra ny sampy. Eny, tahaka ny nifidianan’ ireny ny halehany, Sy ny nifalian’ ny fanahiny tamin’ ny fahavetavetany,
Whoever slaughters the ox strikes a man, Whoever sacrifices the lamb beheads a dog, Whoever is bringing up a present—The blood of a sow, Whoever is making mention of frankincense, Is blessing iniquity. Indeed, they have fixed on their own ways, And their soul has delighted in their abominations.
4 Dia tahaka izany kosa no hifidianako ny fampahoriana azy, Sy handatsahako ny fahatahorany ho aminy, Satria niantso Aho, fa tsy nisy namaly, Niteny Aho, fa tsy nihaino izy; Fa nanao izay ratsy eo imasoko, Ary izay tsy sitrako no nofidiny.
I also—I fix on their distress, And I bring in their fears to them, Because I have called, and there is none answering, I spoke, and they have not listened, And they do evil in My eyes, And on that which I did not desire—fixed.”
5 Mihainoa ny tenin’ i Jehovah, Hianareo izay mangovitra noho ny teniny! Hoy ny rahalahinareo izay mankahala anareo, Ka mandroaka anareo noho ny amin’ ny anarako: Hampiseho ny voninahiny anie Jehovah, Mba ho faly mahita ny fifalianareo izahay! Kanefa ireny ho menatra kosa.
Hear a word of YHWH, You who are trembling at His word: “Your brothers who are hating you, Who are driving you out for My Name’s sake, have said, YHWH is honored, and we look on your joy, But they are ashamed.”
6 Injany! horakoraka any an-tanàna, Ary feo ao amin’ ny tempoly, Dia feon’ i Jehovah izay mamaly ny ataon’ ny fahavalony.
A voice of noise from the city, A voice from the temple, The voice of YHWH, Giving repayment to His enemies.
7 Fony mbola tsy nihetsi-jaza aza izy, dia niteraka; Fony mbola tsy nanaintaina aza izy, dia velon-jazalahy.
“Before she is pained she has brought forth, Before a pang comes to her, She has delivered a male.
8 Iza akory no efa nandre zavatra toy izany? Iza no efa nahita zavatra toy izany? Hisy tany hateraka indray andro va, Na firenena azo atao indray miteraka? Fa raha vao narary hiteraka Ziona, dia velon-jaza izy.
Who has heard anything like this? Who has seen anything like these? Is earth caused to bring forth in one day? Is a nation born at once? For she has been pained, Zion has also borne her sons.
9 Izaho moa hahatonga ho eo amin’ ny fiterahana ka tsy hampiteraka va? hoy Jehovah; Izaho hampiteraka, nefa hampikombona indray va? hoy Andriamanitrao.
Do I bring to the birth, And not cause to bring forth?” says YHWH, “Am I not He who is causing to beget? I have also restrained,” said your God.
10 Miaraha mifaly amin’ i Jerosalema, Ary miravoravoa aminy ianareo rehetra izay tia azy; Aoka hiara-mifaly aminy tokoa Hianareo rehetra izay malahelo noho ny aminy,
“Rejoice with Jerusalem, And be glad in her, all you loving her, Rejoice with her for joy, All you who are mourning for her,
11 Mba hinonoanareo sy hivokisanareo amin’ ny nonony mahafaly, Eny, mba higoka ianareo, Ka hiravoravo amin’ ny haben’ ny voninahiny.
So that you suckle, and have been satisfied, From the breast of her consolations, So that you wring out, and have delighted yourselves From the abundance of her glory.”
12 Fa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Indro, hitarihako fiadanana tahaka ny ony izy, Ary ny voninahitry ny firenena tahaka ny renirano tondraka, Ka hinono ianareo; Ary hosakalehina ianareo sady hohindrahindraina eo ambony lohalika.
For thus said YHWH: “Behold, I am stretching out to her peace as a river, And the glory of nations as an overflowing stream, And you have sucked, You are carried on the side, And you are dandled on the knees.
13 Tahaka ny olona ampiononin-dreniny No hampiononako anareo; Eny, ao Jerosalema no hampiononana anareo.
As one whom his mother comforts, so do I comfort you, Indeed, you are comforted in Jerusalem.”
14 Dia hahita izany ianareo, ka ho faly ny fonareo, Ary ny taolanareo ho tsara fitombo tahaka ny ahi-matiso; Ary ny tànan’ i Jehovah dia ataony fantatry ny mpanompony, Fa ho tezitra amin’ ny fahavalony kosa Izy.
And you have seen, and your heart has rejoiced, And your bones flourish as tender grass, And the hand of YHWH has been known to His servants, And He has been indignant with His enemies.
15 Fa, indro, Jehovah ho avy amin’ ny afo, Ary tahaka ny tadio ny kalesiny, Mba hanao famaliana amin’ ny fahatezerany mirehitra, Sy ny fitenenany mafy amin’ ny lelafo.
For behold, YHWH comes in fire, And His chariots as a windstorm, To refresh His anger in fury, And His rebuke in flames of fire.
16 Fa ny afo sy ny sabany no ho entin’ i Jehovah hifandahatra amin’ ny nofo rehetra; Ary ho maro ny voaringan’ i Jehovah.
For by fire and by His sword, YHWH does judgment with all flesh. And many have been YHWH’s pierced ones.
17 Izay manamasìna sy manadio ny tenany ho ao an-tanimboly, Ka manaraka ny iray ao afovoany, Ary mihinana ny henan-kisoa sy ny zava-betaveta ary ny totozy; Dia hiaraka ho levona avokoa, hoy Jehovah.
“Those sanctifying and cleansing themselves [to go] to the gardens, One after another in the midst, Eating flesh of the sow, And of the abomination, and of the muroid, Are consumed together,” A declaration of YHWH.
18 Fa Izaho dia hamaly ny asany sy ny heviny, Ho avy ny hamoriana ny jentilisa rehetra sy ny samy hafa fiteny; Dia ho avy ireo ka hahita ny voninahitro.
“And I—their works and their thoughts, I come to gather all the nations and tongues, And they have come and seen My glory.
19 Ary hasiako famantarana eo aminy, Ary izay afaka mandositra dia hirahiko ho any amin’ ny jentilisa, Dia ho any Tarsisy sy Pola ary Lydia, izay manenjana tsipìka, Ary ho any Tobala sy Javana, Dia ho any amin’ ireo nosy lavitra izay tsy mbola nandre ny lazako; Na nahita ny voninahitro, Ary hitory ny voninahitro any amin’ ny jentilisa izy.
And I have set a sign among them, And have sent out of them those escaping to the nations (Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawing bow, Tubal and Javan, the islands that are far off), Who have not heard My fame, nor seen My glory, And they have declared My glory among nations.
20 Ary hitondra ny rahalahinareo rehetra izy, Avy any amin’ ny jentilisa rehetra ho fanatitra ho an’ i Jehovah, Mitaingin-tsoavaly sy ao anaty kalesy sy filanjana, Ary mitaingina ampondra sy rameva haingam-pandeha ho any Jerosalema tendrombohitro masìna, hoy Jehovah, Dia tahaka ny fitondran’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely ny fanatitra hohanina ao anatin’ ny vilia madio ho any an-tranon’ i Jehovah;
And they have brought all your brothers out of all the nations, A present to YHWH, On horses, and on chariot, and on litters, And on mules, and on dromedaries, To My holy mountain Jerusalem,” said YHWH, “As the sons of Israel bring the present in a clean vessel, Into the house of YHWH.
21 Ary avy amin’ ireo aza no hakako ho mpisorona sy Levita, hoy Jehovah.
And I also take of them for priests, For Levites,” said YHWH.
22 Fa tahaka ny lanitra vaovao sy ny tany vaovao, izay hataoko, no haharitra eo anatrehako, hoy Jehovah, Dia toy izany ny haharetan’ ny taranakareo sy ny anaranareo.
“For as the new heavens and the new earth that I am making, Are standing before Me,” A declaration of YHWH, “So your seed and your name remain.
23 Ary isaky ny voaloham-bolana sy isan-tsabata; Dia ho avy ny nofo rehetra hiankohoka eo anatrehako, hoy Jehovah.
And it has been from month to month, And from Sabbath to Sabbath, All flesh come to bow themselves before Me,” said YHWH.
24 Ary hivoaka izy ireny ka hijery ny fatin’ ny olona izay efa niodina tamiko; Fa ny kankany tsy ho faty, ary ny afony tsy hovonoina, Ary hataon’ ny nofo rehetra ho fahavetavetana izy.
“And they have gone forth, And looked on the carcasses of the men Who are transgressing against Me, For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched, And they have been an abhorrence to all flesh!”
