Zabbuli 26

1 Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Onnejjeereze, Ayi Mukama, kubanga obulamu bwange tebuliiko kya kunenyezebwa; nneesiga ggwe, Ayi Mukama, nga sibuusabuusa.

By David. Judge me, O Jehovah, for I in mine integrity have walked, And in Jehovah I have trusted, I slide not.

2 Neetegereza, Ayi Mukama, ongezese; weekalirize ebiri mu mutima gwange ne mu mmeeme yange.

Try me, O Jehovah, and prove me, Purified [are] my reins and my heart.

3 Kubanga okwagala kwo kwe kunkulembera, era mu mazima go mwe ntambulira.

For Thy kindness [is] before mine eyes, And I have walked habitually in Thy truth.

4 Situula na bantu balimba, so siteesaganya na bakuusa.

I have not sat with vain men, And with dissemblers I enter not.

5 Nkyawa ekibiina ky’aboonoonyi; so situula na bakozi ba bibi.

I have hated the assembly of evil doers, And with the wicked I sit not.

6 Naaba mu ngalo zange okulaga nga bwe sirina misango; ne ndyoka nzija ku Kyoto kyo, Ayi Mukama;

I wash in innocency my hands, And I compass Thine altar, O Jehovah.

7 ne nnyimba oluyimba olw’okwebaza, olwogera ku bikolwa byo ebyewuunyisa.

To sound with a voice of confession, And to recount all Thy wonders.

8 Ennyumba yo mw’obeera njagala, Ayi Mukama, kye kifo ekijjudde ekitiibwa kyo.

Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of Thy house, And the place of the tabernacle of Thine honour.

9 Tombalira mu boonoonyi, wadde mu batemu,

Do not gather with sinners my soul, And with men of blood my life,

10 abakozesa emikono gyabwe okutegeka ebikolwa ebibi, era abali b’enguzi.

In whose hand [is] a wicked device, And their right hand [is] full of bribes.

11 Naye nze ntambula nga siriiko kye nnenyezebwa; nkwatirwa ekisa, Ayi Mukama, ondokole.

And I, in mine integrity I walk, Redeem me, and favour me.

12 Nnyimiridde watereevu. Nnaatenderezanga Mukama mu kibiina ky’abantu ekinene.

My foot hath stood in uprightness, In assemblies I bless Jehovah!
