1 Esengo na bato oyo bazangi pamela mpe batambolaka kolanda mibeko ya Yawe!
ALEPH. Happy are they whose way is perfect, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Esengo na bato oyo babatelaka malako na Ye mpe balukaka Ye na mitema na bango mobimba!
Happy are they who keep his testimonies, that seek him with all their heart.
3 Basalaka mabe te, kasi balandaka banzela ya Nzambe.
They also commit no injustice; in his ways do they walk.
4 Opesaki mibeko mpo ete etosama malamu.
Thou thyself hast commanded us thy precepts, that we might keep [them] diligently.
5 Tika ete nabongisa etamboli na ngai mpo ete natosa mitindo na Yo!
Oh that my ways were firmly directed to observe thy statutes!
6 Na bongo, nakoyoka soni te tango nakotosa mibeko na Yo nyonso.
Then would I not be made ashamed, while I look at all thy commandments.
7 Nakosanzola Yo na motema ya sembo wana nakoyekola mibeko ya bosembo na Yo.
I will thank thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn thy righteous ordinances.
8 Nalingi kotosa mitindo na Yo; kosundola ngai libela te!
Thy statutes will I observe: oh forsake me not too greatly.
9 Ndenge nini elenge akoki kowumela na nzela ya sembo? Ezali na kotambola kolanda liloba na Yo.
BETH. Wherewithal shall a youth keep his way pure? by guarding it according to thy word.
10 Nalukaka Yo na motema na ngai mobimba; batela ngai mpo ete napengwa te mosika ya mibeko na Yo!
With all my heart have I sought thee: oh let me not wander astray from thy commandments.
11 Nabatelaka liloba na Yo kati na motema na ngai mpo ete nasala masumu te na miso na Yo.
In my heart have I treasured up thy saying, in order that I may not sin against thee.
12 Yawe, tika ete opambolama! Lakisa ngai mitindo na Yo!
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
13 Na monoko na ngai, natangaka mibeko na Yo nyonso.
With my lips have I related all the ordinances of thy mouth.
14 Nasepelaka kotambola kolanda malako na Yo lokola nde nazali na bomengo nyonso.
On the way of thy testimonies have I been glad, as over all wealth.
15 Nakanisaka malako na Yo mpe natambolaka na banzela na Yo.
On thy precepts will I meditate, and direct my look unto thy paths.
16 Nasepelaka mingi na malako na Yo mpe nabosanaka liloba na Yo te.
In thy statutes will I seek my delight: I will not forget thy word.
17 Salela ngai, mosali na Yo, bolamu mpo ete nabika mpe natosa liloba na Yo.
GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant: let me live, that I may observe thy word.
18 Fungola miso na ngai mpo ete namona kitoko ya mibeko na Yo.
Open thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
19 Nazali mopaya awa na mokili; kobombela ngai mibeko na Yo te.
A stranger am I on the earth: hide not from me thy commandments.
20 Molimo na ngai ezalaka tango nyonso na posa makasi ya koyeba mibeko na Yo.
My soul is broken from longing for thy ordinances at all times.
21 Otelemelaka bato ya lofundu, bato oyo balakelama mabe mpe bapengwaka mosika ya mibeko na Yo.
Thou hast rebuked the accursed proud, who go erringly astray from thy commandments.
22 Longola soni mpe kotiolama na bomoi na ngai, pamba te natosaka malako na Yo.
Roll away from me reproach and contempt; for thy testimonies have I kept.
23 Ezala soki bakambi basali likita mpe bayokani kotelemela ngai, mosali na Yo, nakokanisa kaka mitindo na Yo.
Although even princes should sit and speak against me, thy servant would still meditate on thy statutes.
24 Malako na Yo esepelisaka ngai makasi, epesaka ngai toli.
Also thy testimonies are my delight, my counsellors.
25 Nakangami na putulu; batela bomoi na ngai kolanda liloba na Yo.
DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: revive thou me according to thy word.
26 Nayebisaki Yo banzela na ngai, mpe oyanolaki ngai; lakisa ngai mibeko na Yo!
My ways do I relate [to thee], and thou answerest me: teach me thy statutes.
27 Sala ete nasosola nzela ya mitindo na Yo mpo ete nakanisa misala minene na Yo!
Cause me to understand the way of thy precepts, that I may meditate on thy wonders.
28 Nazali kolela mpo na pasi na motema; pesa ngai mpiko kolanda liloba na Yo.
My soul droppeth away from grief: sustain me according to thy word.
29 Mema ngai mosika ya nzela ya lokuta; mpe, na boboto na Yo, teya ngai mobeko na Yo.
The way of falsehood do thou remove from me, and grant me graciously thy law.
30 Naponaki nzela ya bosolo; natambolaka kolanda mibeko na Yo.
The way of truth have I chosen: thy ordinances have I set [before me].
31 Nakangami na malako na Yo; Yawe, koyokisa ngai soni te.
I have adhered unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame.
32 Nakimaka mbangu kati na nzela ya mibeko na Yo, pamba te opesaka ngai bososoli na yango.
The way of thy commandments will I run; for thou wilt enlarge my heart.
33 Yawe, teya ngai nzela ya mitindo na Yo mpo ete nabatela yango kino na suka.
HE. Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I shall keep it in all its windings.
34 Pesa ngai bososoli mpo ete natosa mibeko na Yo mpe nalanda yango na motema na ngai mobimba.
Give me understanding, that I may keep thy law, and I will observe it with all [my] heart.
35 Tambolisa ngai kati na nzela ya mibeko na Yo, pamba te nasepelaka na yango.
Guide me on the path of thy commandments; for therein do I find my delight.
36 Sala ete motema na ngai esepela na malako na Yo, kasi na bomengo te!
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to desire for gain.
37 Longola miso na ngai na makambo ya pamba, batela bomoi na ngai kati na banzela na Yo!
Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity: on thy way do thou give me life.
38 Kokisela mosali na Yo bilaka oyo opesaki mpo na bato oyo batosaka Yo.
Fulfill unto thy servant thy promise for those who are devoted to thy fear.
39 Longola mosika na ngai soni oyo nabangaka, pamba te mibeko na Yo ezali malamu.
Cause to pass away my disgrace of which I have dread; for thy ordinances are good.
40 Nasepelaka makasi na mibeko na Yo; batela bomoi na ngai kati na bosembo na Yo!
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: through thy righteousness do thou give my life.
41 Yawe, tika ete bolingo ekomela ngai, mpe lobiko na Yo, kolanda elaka na Yo;
VAV. And let thy kindness come unto me, O Lord, thy salvation, according to thy promise.
42 bongo nakokoka kozwa eyano ya kopesa na mofingi na ngai, pamba te natiaka elikya na liloba na Yo.
Then shall I have a word to answer the one that reproacheth me; for I trust in thy word.
43 Tika ete monoko na ngai elobaka kaka bosolo, pamba te natiaka elikya kati na mibeko na Yo.
And snatch not the word of truth out of my mouth too greatly; for I wait for thy ordinances.
44 Nakotosa mibeko na Yo tango nyonso, mpe libela na libela.
So shall I observe thy law continually for ever and ever.
45 Nakobika na bonsomi ya solo, pamba te nasepelaka kotosa mitindo na Yo.
And I will walk in an open space; for thy precepts have I sought.
46 Nakolobela malako na Yo liboso ya bakonzi na kozanga koyoka soni.
And I will speak of thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 Nasepelaka mingi na mibeko na Yo mpe nalingaka yango mingi.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I love.
48 Nalapi ndayi mpo na mibeko na Yo, oyo nalingaka, mpe nakokanisa mitindo na Yo.
And so will I lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on thy statutes.
49 Kanisa makambo oyo olobaki na mosali na Yo, pamba te opesaki ngai elikya.
ZAYIN. Remember thy word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to wait.
50 Kati na pasi na ngai, liloba na Yo ebondisaka; batela bomoi na ngai kolanda elaka na Yo.
This is my comfort in my affliction, that thy promise hath revived me.
51 Solo, bato ya lolendo batiolaki ngai makasi; kasi ngai, natikalaki kopengwa te na mibeko na Yo.
The presumptuous have held me too greatly in derision: yet have I not departed away from thy law.
52 Yawe, tango nakanisaka mikano na Yo ya kala, nazwaka kati na yango kobondisama.
I remembered thy decrees [which were] from olden times, O Lord, and thus comforted myself.
53 Nayokaka pasi mingi na motema tango namonaka bato mabe kosundola mibeko na Yo.
Horror seized on me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Nakoma koyemba mitindo na Yo na bisika nyonso epai wapi nazali moleki nzela.
Songs have thy statutes been unto me in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 Yawe, nakanisaka Yo na butu mpo ete nabatela mibeko na Yo;
I remembered in the night thy name, O Lord, and observed thy law.
56 pamba te libula na ngai ezali: kotosa mibeko na Yo.
This came to pass unto me, because I had kept thy precepts.
57 Yawe, nalobi lisusu ete libula na ngai ezali: kotosa liloba na Yo.
CHETH. My portion is the Lord, have I said, that I might observe thy words.
58 Na motema na ngai mobimba, nalukaka kosepelisa Yo; salela ngai ngolu kolanda bilaka na Yo!
I make entreaty before thee with all my heart: be gracious unto me according to thy promise.
59 Natali malamu etamboli na ngai mpe namizongisi kati na malako na Yo.
I have thought over my ways, and made my feet return unto thy testimonies.
60 Natosaka mibeko na Yo noki, nazelisaka te.
I hastened, and delayed not to observe thy commandments.
61 Solo, mitambo ya bato mabe ekangaki ngai, kasi ngai nabosanaki te mibeko na Yo.
Companies of wicked men have surrounded me; but I have not forgotten thy law.
62 Na kati-kati ya butu, nalamukaka mpo na kokumisa Yo likolo na mibeko na Yo ya sembo.
At midnights do I constantly rise to give thanks unto thee, because of thy righteous decrees.
63 Nazali moninga ya bato nyonso oyo batosaka Yo mpe babatelaka mitindo na Yo.
An associate am I unto all that fear thee, and unto those that keep thy precepts.
64 Yawe, mokili etondi na bolingo na Yo; lakisa ngai mitindo na Yo!
Of thy kindness, O Lord, is the earth full: teach me thy statutes.
65 Yawe, salela mosali na Yo bolamu kolanda liloba na Yo.
TETH. Thou hast shown goodness on thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word.
66 Teya ngai bolamu ya bososoli mpe ya mayele, pamba te namipesaka na mibeko na Yo.
The best of discernment and knowledge do thou teach me; for in thy commandments do I believe.
67 Liboso ete obeta ngai, nazalaki mopengwi; kasi sik’oyo, nakomi kotosa liloba na Yo.
Before I was afflicted I was in error; but now I observe thy saying.
68 Ozali malamu mpe osalaka makambo ya malamu; teya ngai mitindo na Yo!
Thou art good, and doing good: teach me thy statutes.
69 Bato ya lolendo bakoselaka ngai makambo; kasi ngai, natosaka mitindo na Yo na motema na ngai mobimba.
The presumptuous have invented falsehoods against me; but I will with all my heart indeed keep thy precepts.
70 Mitema na bango ezali mabanga; kasi ngai, nasepelaka na mibeko na Yo.
Gross as fat is their heart; but I take truly delight in thy law.
71 Ezalaki penza malamu mpo na ngai ete obeta ngai, mpo ete nayekola mitindo na Yo.
It is well for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn thy statutes.
72 Mpo na ngai, mibeko oyo ozwaki mpe osakolaki na monoko na Yo ezali malamu koleka biloko nkoto moko ya wolo mpe ya palata.
Better is unto me the law of thy mouth than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Osalaki mpe olendisaki ngai na maboko na Yo, pesa ngai mayele mpo ete nayekola mibeko na Yo!
YOD. Thy hands have made me and established me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 Tango bato oyo batosaka Yo bamonaka ngai, basepelaka makasi, mpo ete natiaka elikya na liloba na Yo.
Those that fear thee will see me and be rejoiced; because I have waited for thy word.
75 Yawe, nayebi malamu ete mibeko na Yo ezali sembo, mpe ete ezali kaka mpo na bolingo na Yo nde obetaki ngai.
I know, O Lord, that thy decrees are righteous, and that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.
76 Tika ete bolingo na Yo ebondisa ngai, kolanda elaka na Yo epai ya mosali na Yo!
Let, I pray thee, thy kindness come to comfort me, according to thy promise unto thy servant.
77 Talisa ngai mawa na Yo mpo ete nabika, pamba te nasepelaka na mibeko na Yo.
Let thy mercies come unto me, that I may live; for thy law is my delight.
78 Tika ete bato wana ya lofundu, oyo bamonisaka ngai pasi na kozanga tina, bakufa soni! Kasi ngai nakokanisa kaka mibeko na Yo.
Let the presumptuous be made ashamed; because they have without a cause dealt perversely with me; but I will indeed meditate on thy precepts.
79 Tika ete bato oyo batosaka Yo, ba-oyo bayebi malako na Yo, bazongela ngai.
Let those that fear thee return unto me, and those that know thy testimonies.
80 Tika ete motema na ngai ezanga pamela mpo na kotosa mitindo na Yo, mpo ete nakufa soni te.
Let my heart be entire in thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
81 Natondi na posa ya lobiko na Yo, nazali na elikya kati na liloba na Yo.
CAPH. My soul ardently desireth for thy salvation: for thy word do I wait.
82 Miso na ngai elembi kozela kokokisama ya elaka na Yo; nakomi komituna: « Okobondisa ngai tango nini? »
My eyes look eagerly for thy promise, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Nakomi lokola mbeki oyo ezali kokawuka na milinga, nzokande nabosanaka mitindo na Yo te.
For I am become like a bottle in the smoke: [yet] do I not forget thy statutes.
84 Mikolo ya bomoi ya mosali na Yo ezali motango boni? Mokolo nini okopesa banyokoli na ngai etumbu?
How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute justice on my persecutors?
85 Bato ya lolendo batimoli mabulu mpo na kokanga ngai, baboyi kotosa mibeko na Yo.
The presumptuous have dug pits for me, which is not in accordance with thy law.
86 Mibeko na Yo nyonso ezali sembo; kasi bazali konyokola ngai kaka pamba; yaka kosunga ngai!
All thy commandments are founded on truth: without cause they persecute me; help thou me.
87 Etikali moke mpo ete balongola ngai na mokili; kasi atako bongo, nasundoli mibeko na Yo te.
But little was wanting that they had consumed me upon earth; but I have truly not forsaken thy precepts.
88 Kati na bolingo na Yo, batela bomoi na ngai mpo ete natosa malako na Yo.
According to thy kindness give me life, that I may observe the testimony of thy mouth.
89 Yawe, liloba na Yo ezali mpo na seko, epikama kati na likolo;
LAMED. To eternity, O Lord, standeth firm thy word with the heavens.
90 boyengebene na Yo ekowumela seko na seko. Okela mabele, mpe ezali kaka kino na mokolo ya lelo;
Unto all generations endureth thy faithfulness: thou hast established the earth, and she standeth.
91 opesa mibeko, mpe ezali kaka kino na mokolo ya lelo, pamba te nyonso kati na mokili mobimba epesaka Yo lokumu.
According to thy ordinances they exist this day: for all are thy servants.
92 Soki nasepelaki na mibeko na Yo te, mbele nakufa kala kati na pasi na ngai.
Unless thy law had been my delights, I should long since have been lost in my affliction.
93 Nakotikala kobosana ata moke te mitindo na Yo, pamba te obatelaka bomoi na ngai na nzela na yango.
Never will I forget thy precepts; for with them thou hast kept me alive.
94 Bikisa ngai, pamba te nazali moto na Yo mpe natosaka mitindo na Yo!
Thine am I, save me; for thy precepts have I sought.
95 Bato mabe bazali koluka koboma ngai, kasi ngai nakangami kaka na malako na Yo.
Wicked men have waited for me to destroy me; [but] I will reflect on thy testimonies.
96 Na nyonso oyo emonanaka lokola ya kokoka, namonaki mondelo; kasi mibeko na Yo ezalaka na mondelo te.
Of all perfection have I seen the end; [but] thy commandment is exceedingly extended.
97 Nalingaka mibeko na Yo mingi! Nakanisaka yango mikolo nyonso.
MEM. Oh how do I love thy law! all the day is it my (meditation)
98 Mibeko na Yo ekomisaka ngai moto ya bwanya koleka banguna na ngai; ezalaka elongo na ngai tango nyonso.
Wiser than my enemy doth thy commandment make me; for it is perpetually with me.
99 Naleki balakisi na ngai nyonso na mayele, pamba te nakanisaka malako na Yo.
Above all my teachers have I obtained intelligence; for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 Naleki mibange na bososoli, pamba te natosaka mibeko na Yo.
More than the elders do I possess understanding; because thy precepts do I keep.
101 Natambolaka te na banzela nyonso ya mabe mpo na kotosa liloba na Yo.
From every evil path have I withholden my feet, in order that I might observe thy word.
102 Nakangamaka na mibeko na Yo, pamba te Yo moko nde oteyaka ngai yango.
From thy ordinances have I not departed; for thou hast instructed me.
103 Tala ndenge mitindo na Yo ezali elengi na monoko na ngai! Ezali malamu koleka mafuta ya nzoyi.
How much sweeter are to my palate thy sayings than honey to my mouth!
104 Mitindo na Yo ekomisi ngai moto ya bososoli; yango wana nayinaka nzela nyonso ya mabe.
Through thy precepts shall I obtain understanding: therefore do I hate every path of falsehood.
105 Liloba na Yo ezali mwinda mpo na makolo na ngai, mpe pole mpo na nzela na ngai.
NUN. A lamp unto my feet is thy word, and a light unto my path.
106 Nalapaki ndayi oyo mpe nakokokisa yango: « Nakotosaka mibeko ya bosembo na Yo. »
I have sworn, and I will perform it, to observe thy righteous ordinances.
107 Motema na ngai etutami makasi; Yawe, batela bomoi na ngai kolanda liloba na Yo.
I am afflicted exceedingly much: O Lord, revive me, according to thy word.
108 Yawe, ndima likabo ya bibebu na ngai, mpe teya ngai mibeko na Yo.
Receive in favor the freewill-offerings of my mouth, I beseech thee, O Lord, and teach me thy ordinances.
109 Solo, nakutanaka tango nyonso na makama, kasi nabosanaka mibeko na Yo te.
My life is in my hand continually: yet thy law do I not forget.
110 Bato mabe batiaka mitambo mpo ete nakweya, kasi nakangamaka kaka na mibeko na Yo.
The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet have I not erred from thy precepts.
111 Malako na Yo ezali libula na ngai mpo na libela, esalaka esengo ya motema na ngai.
I have taken thy testimonies as a heritage to eternity; for they are the joy of my heart.
112 Nazwa mokano ya kotambola kolanda mitindo na Yo, tango nyonso, kino na suka.
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, in all their ways.
113 Nayinaka bato ya mitema mibale, kasi nalingaka nde mibeko na Yo.
SAMECH. Those of divided thoughts I hate; but thy law do I love.
114 Ozali ebombamelo mpe nguba na ngai; natiaka elikya kati na liloba na Yo.
My shelter and my shield art thou: for thy word do I wait.
115 Bato ya misala mabe, bokende mosika na ngai! Nakotosa mibeko ya Nzambe na ngai!
Depart from me, ye evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of God.
116 Sunga ngai kolanda elaka na Yo, mpe nakobika; koyokisa elikya na ngai soni te.
Uphold me according to thy promise, that I may live, and let me not be made ashamed of my hope.
117 Sunga ngai mpo ete nabika; nakotikala kobosana mitindo na Yo ata moke te.
Support me that I may be placed in safety, and I will direct my regard unto thy statutes continually.
118 Obwakaka bato nyonso oyo bapesaka mitindo na Yo mokongo, pamba te mokano na bango ezalaka ya lokuta.
Thou hast trodden down all that erringly stray from thy statutes; for falsehood is their deceit.
119 Olongolaka bato nyonso ya mabe ya mokili lokola bosoto; yango wana nalingaka malako na Yo.
Like dross dost thou put away all the wicked of the earth: therefore do I love thy testimonies.
120 Nalengaka na somo liboso na Yo mpe nabangaka mikano na Yo.
My flesh trembleth shudderingly from dread of thee, and of thy decrees am I afraid.
121 Natambolaka na bosembo mpe bosolo; kokaba ngai na maboko ya banyokoli na ngai te!
'AYIN. I have executed justice and righteousness: leave me not to those who oppress me.
122 Kamata mokumba ya bolamu na ngai, mosali na Yo; tika ete bato ya lolendo banyokola ngai te.
Protect thy servant for good: let not the presumptuous oppress me.
123 Miso na ngai elembi kozela lisungi kowuta na Yo mpe kokokisama ya bosembo na Yo kolanda elaka na Yo.
My eyes look eagerly for thy salvation, and for thy righteous promise.
124 Salela ngai, mosali na Yo, kolanda bolingo na Yo, lakisa ngai mitindo na Yo.
Deal with thy servant according to thy kindness, and thy statutes do thou teach me.
125 Nazali mosali na Yo; pesa ngai mayele mpo ete nasosola malako na Yo.
I am thy servant: give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
126 Yawe, tango ya kosala ekoki; pamba te bazali kobuka mibeko na Yo!
It is time to act for the Lord: they have broken thy law.
127 Yango wana nalingaka mibeko na Yo koleka wolo, koleka kutu wolo ya peto;
Therefore do I love thy commandments more than gold, and more than fine gold.
128 namonaka mpe malako na Yo nyonso alima; nzokande, nayinaka lokuta nyonso.
Therefore do I esteem all thy precepts in all things as right: every path of falsehood do I hate.
129 Malako na Yo ezali kitoko, yango wana nabatelaka yango.
PE. Wonderful are thy testimonies: therefore doth my soul keep them.
130 Emoniseli ya liloba na Yo engengisaka, epesaka bazoba mayele.
The opening of thy words giveth light, it giveth understanding unto the simple.
131 Monoko na ngai efungwamaka makasi likolo ya kozela, pamba te nazali na posa makasi ya mibeko na Yo.
I opened my mouth, and panted for breath; because for thy commandments did I long.
132 Baluka epai na ngai mpe talisa ngai ngolu na Yo kolanda ndenge okata mpo na bato oyo balingaka Kombo na Yo.
Turn thou unto me, and be gracious unto me, as is thy wont unto those that love thy name.
133 Lendisa bomoi na ngai na nzela ya liloba na Yo mpe pekisa mabe ete ekonza ngai te.
My steps establish thou through thy promise, and suffer not any wrong to have dominion over me.
134 Kangola ngai wuta na minyoko ya bato, mpe nakotosa mibeko na Yo.
Deliver me from the oppression of man, and I will observe thy precepts.
135 Tika ete elongi na Yo engengela ngai, mosali na Yo; lakisa ngai mibeko na Yo!
Let thy face shine upon thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
136 Miso na ngai ezali kosopa mpinzoli, pamba te mibeko na Yo ezali kotosama te.
Streams of water have run down my eyes; because they had not observed thy law.
137 Yawe, ozali sembo, mpe mibeko na Yo ezali alima;
TZADDE. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy decrees.
138 osalaki malako na Yo na bosembo mpe na bolingo.
Thou hast commanded thy testimonies, as righteous and faithful exceedingly.
139 Mpo ete banguna na ngai bazwaka liloba na Yo na motuya te, nayokaka kanda makasi komata ngai na motema.
My zeal destroyeth me; because my assailants have forgotten thy words.
140 Nzokande liloba na Yo ezali penza peto; mpe ngai, mosali na Yo, nalingaka yango.
Thy promise is greatly refined, and thy servant loveth it.
141 Atako nazali moke mpe batiolaka ngai, kasi nabosanaka mitindo na Yo te.
I am little and despised: yet thy precepts have I not forgotten.
142 Bosembo na Yo ekotikala bongo mpo na libela, ekotikala kobongwana te; mpe mibeko na Yo ezali solo.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
143 Pasi ekangi ngai, mpe mayele esili ngai; kasi mibeko na Yo epesaka ngai esengo.
Distress and trouble have overtaken me: [yet] are thy commandments my delights.
144 Malako na Yo ezali sembo mpo na libela; pesa ngai bososoli mpo ete nabika!
Righteous are thy testimonies for everlasting: give me understanding, that I may live.
145 Nazali kobelela Yo na motema na ngai mobimba: « Yawe, yanola ngai; nakotosa mitindo na Yo!
KOPH. I have called with all my heart: answer me, O Lord: thy statutes will I keep.
146 Nazali kobelela Yo: bikisa ngai, mpo ete natosa malako na Yo!
I have called on thee, save me, and I will observe thy testimonies.
147 Nalamukaka liboso ete tongo etana mpo na kobelela Yo, nazali na elikya kati na liloba na Yo.
I come before thee in the dawn of morning, and cry: for thy word do I wait.
148 Nalamukaka na kati-kati ya butu mpo na kokanisa mitindo na Yo.
My eyes are awake before the night-watches, that I may meditate in thy saying.
149 Yoka ngai na bolingo na Yo! Yawe, batela bomoi na ngai kolanda mibeko na Yo!
Hear my voice according to thy kindness: O Lord, according to thy decree do thou grant me life.
150 Bato oyo basalaka mabongisi mabe, oyo batosaka mibeko na Yo te, bazali koya pene na ngai.
They that pursue mischievous devices draw nigh: from thy law are they far.
151 Nzokande Yo, Yawe, ozali pene, mpe mibeko na Yo nyonso ezali bosolo.
Near art thou, O Lord; and all thy commandments are the truth.
152 Wuta kala, ngai nayebi, na nzela ya malako na Yo, ete otia mibeko yango mpo na libela.
Of old already I knew of thy testimonies; because for eternity hast thou founded them.
153 Mona malamu pasi na ngai mpe kangola ngai, pamba te nabosanaka mibeko na Yo te.
RESH. Look on my affliction, and release me; for thy law have I not forgotten.
154 Kota likambo na ngai mpe kangola ngai, batela bomoi na ngai kolanda elaka na Yo!
Plead my cause, and deliver me: according to thy promise do thou revive me.
155 Lobiko ezalaka mosika ya bato mabe, pamba te bamonaka pamba mitindo na Yo.
Far from the wicked is salvation; because thy statutes have they not sought for.
156 Yawe, mawa na Yo ezali monene penza; batela bomoi na ngai kolanda mibeko na Yo.
Thy mercies are abundant, O Lord; according to thy decrees do thou revive me.
157 Banyokoli mpe banguna na ngai bazali solo ebele, kasi ngai nakangamaka kaka na malako na Yo.
Many are my persecutors and my assailants: yet from thy testimonies do I not turn away.
158 Natalaka na nkele bato oyo bazangi kondima, ba-oyo batosaka liloba na Yo te.
I beheld the treacherous, and felt disgust; because they observed not thy saying.
159 Yawe, tala ndenge nalingaka mitindo na Yo! Batela bomoi na ngai kolanda bolingo na Yo.
Behold that I love thy precepts: O Lord, according to thy kindness do thou revive me.
160 Moboko ya liloba na Yo ezali bosolo, mpe mibeko nyonso ya bosembo na Yo ezali mpo na libela.
The summit of thy word is truth: and the whole of thy righteous judgment endureth for ever.
161 Bakambi banyokolaka ngai kaka pamba, kasi kaka liloba na Yo nde ebangisaka motema na ngai.
SHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but of thy word standeth my heart in dread.
162 Nasepelaka na liloba na Yo lokola moto oyo azwi bomengo ebele ya bitumba.
I am rejoiced over thy promise, as one that findeth great spoil.
163 Nayinaka lokuta mpe nayokaka yango nkele, nalingaka nde mibeko na Yo.
Falsehood I hate and abhor: but thy law do I love.
164 Nakumisaka Yo mbala sambo na mokolo mpo na mibeko ya bosembo na Yo.
Seven times in the day do I praise thee because of thy righteous decrees.
165 Bato oyo balingaka mibeko na Yo bazali bato na kimia monene, mpe eloko moko te ekobetisa bango lisusu mabaku.
Abundant peace have they who love thy law; and thee is nothing that causeth them to stumble.
166 Yawe, natielaka Yo motema mpo ete obikisa ngai, mpe natosaka mibeko na Yo.
I have hoped for thy salvation, O Lord, and thy commandments have I fulfilled.
167 Natosaka malako na Yo, pamba te nalingaka yango makasi.
My soul hath observed thy testimonies, and I love them exceedingly.
168 Natosaka malako mpe mibeko na Yo, pamba te oyebi banzela na ngai nyonso.
I have observed thy precepts and thy testimonies; because all my ways are before thee.
169 Yawe, tika ete koganga na ngai ekoma kino epai na Yo! Pesa ngai bososoli kolanda liloba na Yo!
TAV. Let my entreaty come near before thee, O Lord: according to thy word grant me understanding.
170 Tika ete mabondeli na ngai ekoma kino epai na Yo! Kangola ngai kolanda elaka na Yo.
Let my supplication come before thee: according to thy promise do thou deliver me.
171 Tika ete bibebu na ngai ekumisa Yo, pamba te olakisaka ngai mitindo na Yo!
My lips shall utter praise; because thou wilt teach me thy statutes.
172 Tika ete lolemo na ngai eyemba liloba na Yo, pamba te mibeko na Yo nyonso ezali sembo.
My tongue shall speak loudly of thy promise; for all thy commandments are righteous.
173 Tika ete loboko na Yo esunga ngai, pamba te napona kolanda malako na Yo.
Let thy hand be [ready] to help me; for thy precepts have I chosen.
174 Yawe, nazali na posa makasi ya lobiko na Yo; mibeko na Yo epesaka ngai esengo.
I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delights.
175 Tika ete nazala na bomoi mpo na kokumisa Yo, mpe tika ete mibeko na Yo esunga ngai!
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee: and let thy decrees help me.
176 Nazali koyengayenga lokola meme oyo ebungi; luka ngai, mosali na Yo, pamba te nabosani mibeko na Yo te. »
I have gone erringly astray like a lost sheep: seek thy servant; for thy commandments have I not forgotten.
