< Malako 15 >
1 Tango tongo etanaki, bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe, bakambi ya bato, balakisi ya Mobeko mpe bato nyonso ya Likita-Monene ya Bayuda basanganaki mpo na kokata likambo. Bakangaki Yesu na basinga, bamemaki Ye mpe bakabaki Ye na maboko ya Pilato.
As soon as it was morning, the chief priests took counsel with the elders, scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin. They bound Jesus, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate.
2 Pilato atunaki Yesu: — Boni, ozali mokonzi ya Bayuda? Yesu azongisaki: — Olobi yango.
So Pilate asked him, “Are yoʋ the king of the Jews?” Jesus answered him, “Yoʋ have said it yoʋrself.”
3 Bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe bazalaki kofunda Ye na makambo ebele.
Then the chief priests accused him of many things.
4 Pilato atunaki Ye lisusu: — Boni, ozali te na eyano ya kopesa, na makambo nyonso oyo bazali koloba mpo na kofunda yo?
So Pilate asked him again, “Do yoʋ make no answer? See how many things they are testifying against yoʋ!”
5 Kasi Yesu azongisaki ata liloba moko te; mpe Pilato akamwaki makasi.
But Jesus made no further answer, so Pilate was amazed.
6 Na feti nyonso ya Pasika, azalaki kobimisa na boloko mokangami moko oyo bato bazalaki kosenga.
Now at the feast Pilate would release one prisoner for the people, whomever they requested.
7 Na tango wana, moto oyo bazalaki kobenga « Barabasi » azalaki kati na boloko elongo na batomboki oyo bayeisaki mobulu kati na engumba mpe babomaki moto.
And there was a man named Barabbas who was in prison with his fellow insurrectionists who had committed murder in the insurrection.
8 Ebele ya bato bayaki mpe basengaki na Pilato ete asalela bango makambo oyo amesana kosalela bango mbala na mbala.
So the crowd cried out and began to ask Pilate to do what he had always done for them.
9 Pilato atunaki: — Bolingi nabimisela bino mokonzi ya Bayuda?
Pilate answered them, “Do you want me to release for you the king of the Jews?”
10 Pilato ayebaki malamu ete ezali mpo na likunya nde bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe bakabaki Yesu na maboko na ye.
(For he knew that the chief priests had handed Jesus over out of envy.)
11 Bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe batindikaki ebele ya bato mpo ete basenga na Pilato ete abimisela bango Barabasi longwa na boloko.
But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have Pilate release for them Barabbas instead.
12 Pilato atunaki bango: — Nasala nini na moto oyo bozali kobenga mokonzi ya Bayuda?
In response Pilate said to them again, “What then do you want me to do with the man you call King of the Jews?”
13 Bagangaki lisusu: — Baka ye na ekulusu!
They cried out again, “Crucify him!”
14 Pilato atunaki bango lisusu: — Mabe nini asali? Kasi bakobaki kaka koganga makasi koleka: — Baka ye na ekulusu!
Pilate said to them, “Why? What evil has he done?” But they cried out all the more, “Crucify him!”
15 Lokola Pilato alingaki kosepelisa ebele ya bato, abimiselaki bango Barabasi longwa na boloko. Sima na kobetisa Yesu fimbu, Pilato apesaki Ye na maboko na bango mpo ete babaka Ye na ekulusu.
Then Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, released for them Barabbas. But he scourged Jesus and handed him over to be crucified.
16 Basoda bakumbaki Yesu kati na ndako ya moyangeli, na esambiselo, mpe basangisaki lisanga mobimba ya basoda.
So the soldiers led him away into the palace (that is, the governor's headquarters) and called together the entire cohort of soldiers.
17 Balatisaki Yesu nzambala ya motane mpe ekoti oyo basalaki na banzube;
They clothed him with a purple robe, and they twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on him.
18 mpe babandaki kopesa ye mbote: « Mbote, mokonzi ya Bayuda! »
Then they began to salute him: “Hail, King of the Jews!”
19 Bazalaki kosalela lingenda moke mpo na kobeta Ye na moto, bazalaki kobwakela Ye soyi mpe kofukama mpo na kogumbama liboso na Ye.
They kept beating him on the head with a reed, spitting on him, and bending down on their knees to pay homage to him.
20 Sima na bango kosakanela Ye, balongolaki Ye nzambala ya motane, balatisaki Ye lisusu bilamba na Ye mpe bakumbaki Ye mpo na kobaka Ye na ekulusu.
When they had finished mocking him, they stripped him of the purple robe and put his own garments back on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.
21 Bakangaki na makasi moleki nzela moko oyo awutaki na bilanga, mpo ete amema ekulusu ya Yesu; kombo na ye ezalaki Simona, moto ya Sirene mpe tata ya Alekizandre mpe Rifisi.
Now a certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the countryside. The soldiers pressed him into service, forcing him to carry Jesus' cross,
22 Bamemaki Yesu na esika oyo babengaka « Gologota, » oyo elingi koloba: esika ya mokuwa ya moto,
and they brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha (which means, “Place of the Skull”).
23 bapesaki Ye masanga ya vino basangisa na mire, kasi amelaki yango te.
Then they gave him wine to drink, mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it.
24 Babakaki Ye na ekulusu, mpe bakabolaki bilamba na Ye, na kobeta zeke mpo na koyeba oyo moko na moko akozwa.
And they crucified him. Then they divided his garments, casting lots for them to see who would take what.
25 Babakaki Ye na ekulusu na ngonga ya libwa ya tongo.
It was the third hour when they crucified him.
26 Tala makomi oyo ezalaki kotalisa mpo na nini bakatelaki Ye etumbu: Mokonzi ya Bayuda.
The inscription of the charge against him was written as follows: “The King of the Jews.”
27 Babomi mibale ya bato babakamaki na ba-ekulusu elongo na Yesu: moko, na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali ya Yesu; mosusu, na ngambo ya loboko na Ye ya mwasi. [
With him they crucified two robbers, one on his right and one on his left.
28 Ezali boye nde ekokisamaki Makomi oyo ezali koloba: « Batangaki Ye na molongo ya bato ya mabe. »]
So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “He was numbered with the lawless.”
29 Baleki nzela bazalaki kofinga Ye na koningisa mito na bango; bazalaki koloba: — Yo oyo okobuka Tempelo mpe okotonga yango lisusu na mikolo misato,
Those who passed by reviled him, shaking their heads and saying, “Ha! Yoʋ who would destroy the temple and build it in three days,
30 mibikisa yo moko mpe kita longwa na ekulusu!
save yoʋrself and come down from the cross!”
31 Bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe elongo na balakisi ya Mobeko bazalaki mpe kotiola kati na bango: — Abikisaki bato mosusu, kasi ye moko akoki komibikisa te!
In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes, were mocking him among themselves, saying, “He saved others, but he cannot save himself.
32 Tika ete Klisto, Mokonzi ya Isalaele, akita sik’oyo longwa na ekulusu, mpo ete tomona mpe tondima! Bato oyo babakamaki elongo na Yesu na ba-ekulusu bazalaki mpe kofinga Ye.
Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see it and believe him.” The men who were crucified with him were also insulting him.
33 Kobanda na ngonga ya midi kino na ngonga ya misato ya pokwa, molili ekotaki na mokili mobimba.
From the sixth hour until the ninth hour, there was darkness over the whole land.
34 Na ngonga yango ya misato ya pokwa, Yesu agangaki: — Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachtani? Elingi koloba: « Nzambe na Ngai, Nzambe na Ngai, mpo na nini osundoli Ngai? »
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lima sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have yoʋ forsaken me?”
35 Kati na bato oyo batelemaki wana, ndambo bayokaki Yesu; boye bakomaki koloba: — Boyoka, azali kobenga Eliya!
When some of those standing nearby heard this, they said, “Behold, he is calling for Elijah.”
36 Moto moko akimaki mbangu, azindisaki eponze moko na vino ya ngayi, atiaki eponze yango na songe ya mwa nzete mpe apesaki yango Yesu mpo ete amela; alobaki: — Totala soki Eliya akoya kokitisa ye.
Then a man ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, “Leave him alone. Let us see if Elijah comes to take him down.”
37 Kasi Yesu agangaki makasi mpe akataki motema.
But Jesus let out a loud cry and breathed his last breath.
38 Rido ya Tempelo epasukaki na biteni mibale, kobanda na likolo kino na se.
Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
39 Mpe tango mokonzi ya basoda ya Rome, oyo atelemaki liboso ya Yesu, amonaki ndenge Yesu akufaki, alobaki: — Moto oyo azalaki penza Mwana na Nzambe!
Now when the centurion who was standing in front of Jesus saw how he cried out and breathed his last breath, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God.”
40 Ezalaki mpe na basi oyo bazalaki kotala na mosika. Kati na basi yango, ezalaki na Mari, moto ya Magidala; Mari, mama ya Jake oyo ya elenge, ya Joze mpe ya Salome;
There were also some women looking on from a distance, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome.
41 oyo bazalaki kolanda Yesu mpe kosunga Ye tango azalaki kati na Galile; ezalaki mpe na basi mosusu ebele oyo bakendeki na Yelusalemi elongo na Yesu.
These women had followed Jesus and provided for him when he was in Galilee. There were also many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem.
42 Wana pokwa ekomaki, lokola ezalaki mokolo ya komilengela mpo ete etikalaki ngonga moke mpo na kokota na mokolo ya Saba,
When evening had come, since it was the day of Preparation (that is, the day before the Sabbath),
43 Jozefi, moto ya mboka Arimate, oyo azalaki moto ya lokumu kati na Likita-Monene ya Bayuda mpe azalaki kozela Bokonzi ya Nzambe, abangaki te kokende epai ya Pilato mpo na kosenga nzoto ya Yesu.
Joseph of Arimathea, a respected council member, who was himself also waiting for the kingdom of God, came and boldly went in before Pilate to ask for Jesus' body.
44 Pilato akamwaki tango ayokaki ete Yesu asilaki kokufa; abengaki mokonzi ya basoda mpo na kotuna ye soki solo Yesu asilaki kokufa.
Pilate was surprised that Jesus was already dead, so he called the centurion over and asked him if Jesus had been dead for some time.
45 Tango ayokaki na monoko ya mokonzi ya basoda ete ezali bongo, apesaki Jozefi ndingisa ya kokamata nzoto ya Yesu.
When he found out from the centurion that it was so, he granted the body to Joseph.
46 Jozefi asombaki liputa ya lino, akitisaki nzoto ya Yesu longwa na ekulusu, alingaki yango na liputa yango; atiaki nzoto yango kati na kunda oyo batobolaki kati na libanga moko ya monene, mpe atindikaki libanga mosusu liboso ya ekotelo ya kunda yango.
After buying a linen cloth and taking him down, Joseph wrapped him in the linen cloth and laid him in a tomb that had been hewn in a rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb.
47 Mari, moto ya mboka Magidala, mpe Mari, mama ya Joze, bazalaki kotala esika oyo akotia nzoto ya Yesu.
And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.
