Esidrasi 10
1 Wana Esidrasi azalaki kobondela mpe kotubela masumu, azalaki ya kofukama mpe azalaki kolela liboso ya Ndako ya Nzambe. Ebele ya bana ya Isalaele: mibali, basi mpe bana, basanganaki pene na ye mpe, bango nyonso, bazalaki kolela makasi.
Now when 'Ezra prayed, and when he made his confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there gathered themselves unto him out of Israel a very large assembly of men and women and children; for the people wept exceedingly much.
2 Bongo Shekania, mwana mobali ya Yeyeli, moko kati na bakitani ya Elami, alobaki na Esidrasi: « Solo, tosalaki makambo ya mbindo na miso ya Nzambe na biso, pamba te tobali basi ya bapaya kati na bikolo oyo ezali elongo na biso kati na mboka oyo; kasi atako bongo, elikya ezali nanu mpo na Isalaele!
Thereupon commenced Shechanyah the son of Jechiel, of the sons of 'Elam, and said unto 'Ezra, we have indeed trespassed against our God, and have brought home strange wives of the nations of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
3 Sik’oyo, tika ete tosala boyokani elongo na Nzambe na biso mpo na kobengana basi wana nyonso elongo na bana na bango, kolanda toli na yo Esidrasi, nkolo na ngai, mpe kolanda toli ya bato nyonso oyo balengaka liboso ya mibeko ya Nzambe na biso! Tika ete esalema kolanda Mobeko!
And now let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the direction of the Lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God: and let it be done according to the law.
4 Telema, pamba te yo nde osengeli kotala likambo oyo! Tozali elongo na yo mpo na kosunga yo. Yika mpiko mpe sala! »
Arise; for this matter is obligatory upon thee; and we will be with thee: be strong, and do it.
5 Esidrasi atelemaki mpe asengaki na bakonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe, Balevi mpe bana nyonso ya Isalaele kolapa ndayi ete bakosalela makambo oyo ndenge elobami. Mpe balapaki ndayi.
Then arose 'Ezra, and caused the princes of the priests, the Levites, and of all Israel, to swear to do according to this word. And they swore.
6 Bongo Esidrasi alongwaki liboso ya Ndako ya Nzambe mpe akendeki na shambre ya Yoanani, mwana mobali ya Eliashibi. Wana azalaki kuna, atikalaki kolia eloko moko te mpe komela mayi te; pamba te azalaki kokoba kosala matanga likolo ya makambo ya mbindo ya bato oyo bawutaki na bowumbu.
Then arose 'Ezra from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Jochanan the son of Elyashib; and he went thither without having eaten bread, or having drunk water; for he was mourning because of the trespass of the exiles.
7 Bapanzaki sango kati na Yuda mpe na Yelusalemi ete bato nyonso oyo bawutaki na bowumbu basangana na Yelusalemi.
And they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem unto all the children of the exile, to gather themselves together at Jerusalem;
8 Kolanda mokano ya bakalaka mpe bakambi ya bato, moto nyonso oyo akomonana te sima na mikolo misato, bakobotola biloko na ye nyonso mpe bakolongola ye na lisanga ya bato oyo bawutaki na bowumbu.
And that whosoever should not come within three days, according to the resolve of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be devoted, and himself separated from the congregation of the exiles.
9 Sima na mikolo yango misato, bato nyonso ya Yuda mpe ya Benjame basanganaki na Yelusalemi. Na mokolo ya tuku mibale ya sanza ya libwa, bato nyonso bavandaki kati na lopango, liboso ya Ndako ya Nzambe, mpe bazalaki kolenga makasi likolo ya makambo oyo mpe mpo ete mvula ezalaki kobeta makasi.
Then were all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered together unto Jerusalem within three days: it was in the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the open place before the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and by reason of the showers of rain.
10 Nganga-Nzambe Esidrasi atelemaki mpe alobaki na bango: — Bosalaki makambo ya mbindo awa bobalaki basi ya bapaya; mpe, na nzela na yango, bobakiselaki Isalaele ngambo.
And 'Ezra the priest rose up, and said unto them, Ye have acted unfaithfully, and have brought home strange wives, to increase yet more the guiltiness of Israel.
11 Sik’oyo, boyambola masumu na bino epai na Yawe, Nzambe ya batata na bino, mpe bokokisa mokano na Ye! Bokabwana na bato ya bikolo ya bapaya oyo bazali kati na bino mpe bokabwana na basi na bino ya bapaya.
Now therefore make confession unto the Lord the God of your fathers, and do his will; and separate yourselves from the nations of the earth, and from the strange wives.
12 Lisanga mobimba ezongisaki na mongongo makasi: — Ezali se bongo, tokosala ndenge olobi!
Then answered all the assembly and said with a loud voice, So be it: according to thy word it is our duty to do.
13 Nzokande tozali bato ebele awa, mpe ezali eleko ya mvula; tokoki kowumela na libanda te. Kutu, ezali te likambo ya mokolo moko to ya mikolo mibale, pamba te ebele kati na biso basali masumu kati na likambo oyo.
But the people are many, and it is the rainy season, and we have not the strength to remain in the street, nor is this a work for one day or for two days; for we are many that have transgressed in this matter.
14 Tika ete bakambi na biso batikala awa na esika ya lisanga mobimba! Mpe tika ete bato nyonso oyo, kati na bingumba na biso, babalaki basi ya bapaya bakende liboso ya bakambi mpe basambisi ya engumba moko na moko, na mikolo oyo bakokatela bango, kino kanda makasi ya Nzambe na biso ekolongwa kati na biso na tina na likambo yango.
Let however our princes stand forward for all the congregation, and let all those in our cities who have brought home strange wives come at appointed times, and with them the elders of each and every city, and its judges, until the fierce wrath of our God be turned away from us for this whole matter.
15 Kaka Jonatan, mwana mobali ya Azaeli, mpe Yakizia, mwana mobali ya Tikiva, elongo na Meshulami mpe Shabetayi, moto ya libota ya Levi, nde batelemelaki mokano oyo.
Only Jonathan the son of 'Assahel and Jachzeyah the son of Thikvah withstood this [proposal]: and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite assisted them.
16 Kasi bato oyo bawutaki na bowumbu basalaki ndenge elobamaki. Nganga-Nzambe Esidrasi aponaki bakambi ya mabota, moko mpo na libota moko na moko, mpe abengaki bango nyonso na bakombo na bango. Babandaki kovanda mpo na koyekola makambo yango na mokolo ya liboso ya sanza ya zomi.
And the children of the exile did so. And then were set apart 'Ezra the priest, [and] certain chiefs of the divisions, for their family divisions, and all of them [designated] by their names; and they sat down on the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.
17 Mpe, na mokolo ya liboso ya sanza ya liboso, basilisaki koyekola makambo ya mibali nyonso oyo babalaki basi ya bapaya.
And they made an end with all, with the men that had brought home strange wives, not before the first day of the first month.
18 Tala kati na bakitani ya Banganga-Nzambe, mibali oyo babalaki basi ya bapaya: Kati na bakitani ya Jozue, mwana mobali ya Yotsadaki elongo na bandeko na ye ya mibali: Maaseya, Eliezeri, Yaribi mpe Gedalia.
And there were found among the sons of the priests that had brought home strange wives, namely, of the sons of Jeshua' the son of Jozadak, and his brethren: Ma'asseyah, and Eli'ezer, and Jarib, and Gedalyah.
19 Bango nyonso batombolaki maboko mpo na kozwa mokano ya kobengana basi na bango mpe ya kobonza meme ya mobali lokola mbeka mpo na masumu na bango.
And they gave their hand to put away their wives, and being guilty, [they offered] a ram of the flock for their trespass.
20 Kati na bakitani ya Imeri: Anani mpe Zebadia.
And of the sons of Immer: Chanani, and Zebadyah.
21 Kati na bakitani ya Arimi: Maaseya, Eli, Shemaya, Yeyeli mpe Oziasi.
And of the sons of Charim: Ma'asseyah, and Elijah, and Shema'yah, and Jechiel, and 'Uzziyah.
22 Kati na bakitani ya Pashuri: Eliowenayi, Maaseya, Isimaeli, Netaneeli, Yozabadi mpe Eleasa.
And of the sons of Pashchur: Elyo'enai, Ma'asseyah. Ishmael, Nethanel, Jozabad, and El'assah.
23 Kati na Balevi: Yozabadi, Shimei, Kelaya oyo bazalaki kobenga lisusu Kelita, Petaya, Yuda mpe Eliezeri.
Also of the Levites: Jozabad, and Shim'i, and Kelayan, the same is Kelita, Pethachyah, Judah, and Eli'ezer.
24 Kati na babeti mindule: Eliashibi. Kati na bakengeli bikuke: Shalumi, Telemi mpe Uri.
And of the singers, Elyashib; and of the gate-keepers, Shallum, and Telem, and Uri.
25 Kati na bato mosusu ya Isalaele: kati na bakitani ya Pareoshi: Ramia, Yiziya, Malikiya, Miyamini, Eleazari, Malikiya mpe Benaya.
And of Israel: Of the sons of Par'osh, Ramyah, and Yizziyah, and Malkiyah, and Miyamin, and El'azar, and Malkiyah, and Benayah.
26 Kati na bakitani ya Elami: Matania, Zakari, Yeyeli, Abidi, Yeremoti mpe Eli.
And of the sons of 'Elam; Matthanyah, Zecharyah, and Jechiel, and 'Abdi, and Jeremoth, and Eliyah.
27 Kati na bakitani ya Zatu: Eliowenayi, Eliashibi, Matania, Yeremoti, Zabadi mpe Aziza.
And of the sons of Zatthu: Elyo'enai, Elyashib, Matthanyah, and Jeremoth, and Zabad, and 'Aziza.
28 Kati na bakitani ya Bebayi: Yoanani, Anania, Zabayi mpe Atilayi.
And of the sons of Bebai: Jehochanan, Chananyah, Zabbai, and 'Athlai.
29 Kati na bakitani ya Bani: Meshulami, Maluki, Adaya, Yashubi, Sheali mpe Ramoti.
And of the sons of Bani: Meshullam, Malluch, and 'Adayah, Jashub, and Sheal, and Ramoth.
30 Kati na bakitani ya Paati-Moabi: Adina, Kelali, Benaya, Maaseya, Matania, Betisaleyeli, Binuwi mpe Manase.
And of the sons of Pachath-moab: 'Adna, and Kelal, Benayah, Ma'asseyah, Matthanyah, Bezalel, and Binnui, and Menasseh.
31 Kati na bakitani ya Arimi: Eliezeri, Yishiya, Malikiya, Shemaya, Simeoni,
And of the sons of Charim: Eli'ezer, Yishiyah, Malkiyah, Shema'yah, Shim'on,
32 Benjame, Maluki mpe Shemaria.
Benjamin, Malluch, and Shemaryah.
33 Kati na bakitani ya Ashumi: Matinayi, Matata, Zabadi, Elifeleti, Yeremayi, Manase mpe Shimei.
Of the sons of Chashum: Matthenai, Matthathah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Jeremai, Menasseh, and Shim'i.
34 Kati na bakitani ya Bani: Madayi, Amirami, Ueli,
Of the sons of Bani: Ma'adai, 'Amram, and Uel,
35 Benaya, Bedia, Keluwu,
Benayah, Bedeyah, Keluhu,
36 Vania, Meremoti, Eliashibi,
Vanyah, Meremoth, Elyashib,
37 Matania, Matinayi, Yasayi,
Matthanyah, Matthenai, and Ja'assai,
38 Bani, Binuwi, Shimei,
And Bani, and Binnui, and Shim'i,
39 Shelemiya, Natan, Adaya,
And Shelemyah, and Nathan, and 'Adayah,
40 Makinadibayi, Shashayi, Sharayi,
Machnadbai, Shashai, Sharai,
41 Azareyeli, Shelemiya, Shemaria,
'Asar'el, and Shelemyahu, Shemaryah,
42 Shalumi, Amaria mpe Jozefi.
Shallum, Amaryah, and Joseph.
43 Kati na bakitani ya Nebo: Yeyeli, Matitia, Zabadi, Zebina, Yadayi, Joeli mpe Benaya.
Of the sons of Nebo: Je'iel, Matthithyah, Zabad, Zebina, Jaddai, and Joel, Benayah.
44 Mibali oyo nyonso nde babalaki basi ya bapaya, mpe mingi kati na bango bazwaki bana na nzela ya basi yango.
All these had taken strange wives; and some of them had wives by whom they had children.
