Ester 10

1 Mokonzi Kizerisesi akataki mpako mpo na bato ya mokili na ye ya bokonzi kino na bituka oyo ezalaki pene ya ebale.

And king Achashverosh imposed a tribute upon the land, and the isles of the sea.

2 Bongo misala nyonso ya bokonzi mpe ya nguya na ye, elongo na makambo nyonso ya lokumu ya Maridoshe oyo mokonzi atombolaki, ekomamaki kati na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Medi mpe ya Persi.

And all the acts of his strength and of his might, and the exposition of the greatness of Mordecai, wherewith the king made him great, behold they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia.

3 Moyuda Maridoshe azalaki moto ya mibale kati na bokonzi sima na mokonzi Kizerisesi. Maridoshe azalaki moto monene mpe ya lokumu na miso ya Bayuda, bandeko na ye; pamba te azalaki koluka bolamu ya bato na ye mpe kobundela bolamu ya Bayuda nyonso.

For Mordecai the Jew was the second in rank after king Achashverosh, and great among the Jews, and acceptable to the multitude of his brethren, a promoter of good to his people, and speaking peace to all its seed.
