As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and to his seed—throughout the age.”
As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Which have been from the age; (aiōn g165)
et rogabant illum ne imperaret illis ut in abyssum irent (Abyssos g12)
and he was calling on Him that He may not command them to go away into the abyss, (Abyssos g12)
And you, Capernaum, which were exalted to Heaven, you will be brought down to Hades. (Hadēs g86)
et ecce quidam legis peritus surrexit temptans illum et dicens magister quid faciendo vitam aeternam possidebo (aiōnios g166)
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up, trying Him, and saying, “Teacher, what having done, will I inherit continuous life?” (aiōnios g166)
ostendam autem vobis quem timeatis timete eum qui postquam occiderit habet potestatem mittere in gehennam ita dico vobis hunc timete (Geenna g1067)
but I will show to you whom you may fear: fear Him who, after the killing, is having authority to cast into Gehenna; yes, I say to you, fear Him. (Geenna g1067)
et laudavit dominus vilicum iniquitatis quia prudenter fecisset quia filii huius saeculi prudentiores filiis lucis in generatione sua sunt (aiōn g165)
And the lord commended the unrighteous steward that he did prudently, because the sons of this age are more prudent than the sons of the light in respect to their generation.
And I say to you, make to yourselves friends out of the wealth of unrighteousness, that when you may fail, they may receive you into the continuous dwelling places.
and having lifted up his eyes in Hades, being in torments, he sees Abraham far off, and Lazarus in his bosom, (Hadēs g86)
et interrogavit eum quidam princeps dicens magister bone quid faciens vitam aeternam possidebo (aiōnios g166)
And a certain ruler questioned Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what having done—will I inherit continuous life?”
who may not receive back manifold more in this time, and in the coming age, continuous life.”
And Jesus answering said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, (aiōn g165)
but those accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the resurrection that is out of the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage; (aiōn g165)
that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life, (aiōnios g166)
for God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life.
he who is believing in the Son has continuous life; and he who is not believing the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
but whoever may drink of the water that I will give him, may not thirst—throughout the age; and the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water, springing up to continuous life.”
And he who is reaping receives a reward, and gathers fruit to continuous life, that both he who is sowing and he who is reaping may rejoice together; (aiōnios g166)
amen amen dico vobis quia qui verbum meum audit et credit ei qui misit me habet vitam aeternam et in iudicium non venit sed transit a morte in vitam (aiōnios g166)
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who is hearing My word, and is believing Him who sent Me, has continuous life, and he does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
You search the Writings, because you think in them to have continuous life, and these are they that are testifying concerning Me; (aiōnios g166)
do not work for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to continuous life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for the Father sealed Him—[even] God.”
and this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who is beholding the Son, and is believing in Him, may have continuous life, and I will raise him up in the last day.” (aiōnios g166)
amen amen dico vobis qui credit in me habet vitam aeternam (aiōnios g166)
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who is believing in Me has continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
I AM the living bread that came down out of Heaven; if anyone may eat of this bread he will live—throughout the age; and the bread also that I will give is My flesh, that I will give for the life of the world.”
he who is eating My flesh, and is drinking My blood, has continuous life, and I will raise him up in the last day; (aiōnios g166)
this is the bread that came down out of Heaven; not as your fathers ate the manna, and died; he who is eating this bread will live—throughout the age.” (aiōn g165)
respondit ergo ei Simon Petrus Domine ad quem ibimus verba vitae aeternae habes (aiōnios g166)
Simon Peter, therefore, answered Him, “Lord, to whom will we go? You have sayings of continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
and the servant does not remain in the house—throughout the age, the Son remains—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
amen amen dico vobis si quis sermonem meum servaverit mortem non videbit in aeternum (aiōn g165)
truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may keep My word, he may not see death—throughout the age.”
The Jews, therefore, said to Him, “Now we have known that You have a demon; Abraham died, and the prophets, and You say, If anyone may keep My word, he will not taste of death—throughout the age! (aiōn g165)
a saeculo non est auditum quia aperuit quis oculos caeci nati (aiōn g165)
from the age it was not heard that anyone opened eyes of one who has been born blind; (aiōn g165)
and I give continuous life to them, and they will not perish—throughout the age, and no one will snatch them out of My hand; (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
and everyone who is living and believing in Me will not die—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
he who is cherishing his life will lose it, and he who is hating his life in this world will keep it to continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
respondit ei turba nos audivimus ex lege quia Christus manet in aeternum et quomodo tu dicis oportet exaltari Filium hominis quis est iste Filius hominis (aiōn g165)
the multitude answered Him, “We heard that the Christ remains out of the Law—throughout the age; and how do You say that it is required that the Son of Man be lifted up? Who is this—the Son of Man?”
and I have known that His command is continuous life; what, therefore, I speak, according as the Father has said to Me, so I speak.”
Peter says to Him, “You may not wash my feet—throughout the age.” Jesus answered him, “If I may not wash you, you have no part with Me”; (aiōn g165)
and I will ask the Father, and He will give to you another Comforter, that He may remain with you throughout the age: (aiōn g165)
sicut dedisti ei potestatem omnis carnis ut omne quod dedisti ei det eis vitam aeternam (aiōnios g166)
according as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, that—all that You have given to Him—He may give to them continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
and this is the continuous life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Him whom You sent—Jesus Christ; (aiōnios g166)
quoniam non derelinques animam meam in inferno neque dabis Sanctum tuum videre corruptionem (Hadēs g86)
Because You will not leave my soul to Hades, Nor will You give Your Holy One to see corruption; (Hadēs g86)
having foreseen, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left to Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
quem oportet caelum quidem suscipere usque in tempora restitutionis omnium quae locutus est Deus per os sanctorum suorum a saeculo prophetarum (aiōn g165)
whom Heaven required, indeed, to receive until times of a restitution of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age. (aiōn g165)
tunc constanter Paulus et Barnabas dixerunt vobis oportebat primum loqui verbum Dei sed quoniam repellitis illud et indignos vos iudicastis aeternae vitae ecce convertimur ad gentes (aiōnios g166)
And speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, “It was necessary that the word of God be first spoken to you, and seeing you thrust it away, and do not judge yourselves worthy of the continuous life, behold, we turn to the nations; (aiōnios g166)
And the nations hearing were glad, and were glorifying the word of the LORD, and believed—as many as were appointed to continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
notum a saeculo est Domino opus suum (aiōn g165)
Known from the ages to God are all His works.
for the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world, by the things made being understood, are plainly seen, both His eternal power and Godhead—to their being inexcusable; (aïdios g126)
who changed the truth of God into the lie, and honored and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for all ages. Amen.
to those, indeed, who in continuance of a good work, seek glory, and honor, and incorruptibility—continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
that even as sin reigned in death, so also grace may reign, through righteousness, to continuous life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
nunc vero liberati a peccato servi autem facti Deo habetis fructum vestrum in sanctificationem finem vero vitam aeternam (aiōnios g166)
And now, having been freed from sin, and having become servants to God, you have your fruit—to sanctification, and the end continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
stipendia enim peccati mors gratia autem Dei vita aeterna in Christo Iesu Domino nostro (aiōnios g166)
for the wages of sin [is] death, and the gift of God [is] continuous life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
whose [are] the fathers, and of whom [is] the Christ, according to the flesh, who is God over all, blessed for all ages. Amen.
or, “Who will go down to the abyss?” (that is, to bring up Christ out of the dead). (Abyssos g12)
for God shut up together the whole to unbelief, that to the whole He might do kindness.
Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him [are] all things; to Him [is] the glory—for all ages. Amen.
and do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God—the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
And to Him who is able to establish you, according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, having been kept secret in the times of the ages, (aiōnios g166)
and now having been revealed, also, through prophetic writings, according to a command of the perpetual God, having been made known to all the nations for obedience of faith— (aiōnios g166)
to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to Him [be] glory for all ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
ubi sapiens ubi scriba ubi conquisitor huius saeculi nonne stultam fecit Deus sapientiam huius mundi (aiōn g165)
where [is] the wise? Where the scribe? Where a disputer of this age? Did God not make foolish the wisdom of this world?
And wisdom we speak among the perfect, and wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age—of those becoming useless, (aiōn g165)
but we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a secret, that God foreordained before the ages to our glory, (aiōn g165)
which no one of the rulers of this age knew, for if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory; (aiōn g165)
Let no one deceive himself; if anyone seems to be wise among you in this age—let him become a fool, that he may become wise, (aiōn g165)
quapropter si esca scandalizat fratrem meum non manducabo carnem in aeternum ne fratrem meum scandalizem (aiōn g165)
for this reason, if food causes my brother to stumble, I may not eat flesh—throughout the age—that I may not cause my brother to stumble.
And all these things happened to those persons as types, and they were written for our admonition, to whom the end of the ages came, (aiōn g165)
ubi est mors victoria tua ubi est mors stimulus tuus (Hadēs g86)
Where, O Death, your sting? Where, O Death [[or Hades]], your victory?”
in whom the god of this age blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that there does not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God; (aiōn g165)
for the momentary light matter of our tribulation works out for us more and more an exceedingly continuous weight of glory— (aiōnios g166)
we [are] not looking to the things seen, but to the things not seen; for the things seen [are] temporary, but the things not seen [are] continuous.
For we have known that if the tent of our earthly house may be thrown down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands—perpetual—in the heavens, (aiōnios g166)
according as it has been written: “He dispersed abroad, He gave to the poor, His righteousness remains throughout the age,” (aiōn g165)
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ—who is blessed for all ages—has known that I do not lie!
who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, (aiōn g165)
cui est gloria in saecula saeculorum amen (aiōn g165)
to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages. Amen.
because he who is sowing to his own flesh, of the flesh will reap corruption; and he who is sowing to the Spirit, of the Spirit will reap continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one; (aiōn g165)
in quibus aliquando ambulastis secundum saeculum mundi huius secundum principem potestatis aeris huius spiritus qui nunc operatur in filios diffidentiae (aiōn g165)
in which you once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn g165)
ut ostenderet in saeculis supervenientibus abundantes divitias gratiae suae in bonitate super nos in Christo Iesu (aiōn g165)
that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, (aiōn g165)
and to cause all to see what [is] the fellowship of the secret that has been hid from the ages in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ, (aiōn g165)
secundum praefinitionem saeculorum quam fecit in Christo Iesu Domino nostro (aiōn g165)
according to a purpose of the ages, which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord, (aiōn g165)
ipsi gloria in ecclesia et in Christo Iesu in omnes generationes saeculi saeculorum amen (aiōn g165)
to Him [is] the glory in the Assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen.
because our wrestling is not with flesh and blood, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenly [places]; (aiōn g165)
and to God, even our Father, [is] the glory through the ages of the ages. Amen.
the secret that has been hid from the ages and from the generations, but now was revealed to His holy ones, (aiōn g165)
qui poenas dabunt in interitu aeternas a facie Domini et a gloria virtutis eius (aiōnios g166)
who will suffer justice—continuous destruction—from the face of the LORD, and from the glory of His strength, (aiōnios g166)
and may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who loved us, and gave continuous comfort, and good hope in grace, (aiōnios g166)
but because of this I found kindness, that Jesus Christ might first show forth all long-suffering in me, for a pattern of those about to believe on Him to continuous life. (aiōnios g166)
regi autem saeculorum inmortali invisibili soli Deo honor et gloria in saecula saeculorum amen (aiōn g165)
And to the King of the ages, the incorruptible, invisible, only wise God, [is] honor and glory through the ages of the ages! Amen. (aiōn g165)
certa bonum certamen fidei adprehende vitam aeternam in qua vocatus es et confessus bonam confessionem coram multis testibus (aiōnios g166)
Be striving the good strife of the faith; be laying hold on the continuous life to which you also were called, and did profess the right profession before many witnesses.
having immortality alone, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one of men saw, nor is able to see, to whom [is] honor and perpetual might! Amen.
Charge those rich in the present age not to be high-minded, nor to hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who is giving to us all things richly for enjoyment— (aiōn g165)
who saved us, and called with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, that was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the times of the ages, (aiōnios g166)
because of this I endure all things, because of the chosen ones, that they also may obtain salvation that [is] in Christ Jesus, with perpetual glory.
for Demas forsook me, having loved the present age, and went on to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia; (aiōn g165)
liberabit me Dominus ab omni opere malo et salvum faciet in regnum suum caeleste cui gloria in saecula saeculorum amen (aiōn g165)
and the LORD will free me from every evil work, and will save [me]—to His heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages! Amen.
on hope of continuous life, which God, who does not lie, promised before times of ages (aiōnios g166)
teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, we may live soberly, and righteously, and piously in the present age, (aiōn g165)
ut iustificati gratia ipsius heredes simus secundum spem vitae aeternae (aiōnios g166)
that having been declared righteous by His grace, we may become heirs according to the hope of continuous life.
for perhaps because of this he departed for an hour, that you may have him continuously, (aiōnios g166)
in these last days speaks to us in [His] Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the ages; (aiōn g165)
but to the Son: “Your throne, O God, [is] throughout the age of the age; The scepter of righteousness [is the] scepter of Your kingdom; (aiōn g165)
quemadmodum et in alio dicit tu es sacerdos in aeternum secundum ordinem Melchisedech (aiōn g165)
just as He also says in another [place], “You [are] a priest throughout the age, according to the order of Melchizedek”; (aiōn g165)
and having been made perfect, He became the cause of continuous salvation to all those obeying Him, (aiōnios g166)
of the teaching of immersions, also of laying on of hands, also of [the] resurrection of the dead, and of continuous judgment, (aiōnios g166)
gustaverunt nihilominus bonum Dei verbum virtutesque saeculi venturi (aiōn g165)
and tasted the good saying of God, also the powers of the coming age, (aiōn g165)
ubi praecursor pro nobis introiit Iesus secundum ordinem Melchisedech pontifex factus in aeternum (aiōn g165)
to where a forerunner entered for us—Jesus, having become Chief Priest throughout the age after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
contestatur enim quoniam tu es sacerdos in aeternum secundum ordinem Melchisedech (aiōn g165)
for He testifies, “You [are] a priest—throughout the age, according to the order of Melchizedek”; (aiōn g165)
(for those indeed apart from oath have become priests, and He [became priest] with an oath through Him who is saying to Him, “The LORD swore, and will not regret, You [are] a priest throughout the age, according to the order of Melchizedek”), (aiōn g165)
and He, because of His remaining throughout the age, has the inviolable priesthood, (aiōn g165)
for the Law appoints men [as] chief priests, having weakness, but the word of the oath that [is] after the Law [appoints] the Son having been perfected throughout the age.
neither through blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, entered in once into the holy places, having obtained continuous redemption; (aiōnios g166)
how much more will the blood of the Christ (who through the perpetual Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God) purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And because of this, He is mediator of a new covenant, that [His] death having come for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those called may receive the promise of the continuous inheritance, (aiōnios g166)
otherwise it was necessary for Him to suffer many times from the foundation of the world, but now He has been revealed once, at the full end of the ages, for [the] annulling of sin through His sacrifice; (aiōn g165)
By faith we understand the ages to have been prepared by a saying of God, in regard to the things seen having not come out of things appearing. (aiōn g165)
Iesus Christus heri et hodie ipse et in saecula (aiōn g165)
Jesus Christ—the same yesterday and today and for all ages.
And the God of peace, who brought up the Great Shepherd of the sheep out of the dead—by the blood of a perpetual covenant—our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
make you perfect in every good work to do His will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages! Amen.
And the tongue [is] a fire, the world of the unrighteousness, so the tongue is set in our members, which is spotting our whole body, and is setting on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
being begotten again, not out of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through a word of God—living and remaining—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
but the saying of the LORD remains—throughout the age; and this is the saying of good news that was proclaimed to you.
if anyone speaks, [speak] as oracles of God; if anyone ministers, [minister] as of the strength which God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Deus autem omnis gratiae qui vocavit nos in aeternam suam gloriam in Christo Iesu modicum passos ipse perficiet confirmabit solidabit (aiōnios g166)
And the God of all grace, who called you to His perpetual glory in Christ Jesus, having suffered a little, Himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle [you]; (aiōnios g166)
ipsi imperium in saecula saeculorum amen (aiōn g165)
to Him [is] the glory and the power through the ages and the ages! Amen. (aiōn g165)
sic enim abundanter ministrabitur vobis introitus in aeternum regnum Domini nostri et salvatoris Iesu Christi (aiōnios g166)
in this way the entrance into the continuous kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly supplemented to you.
For if God did not spare messengers having sinned, but having cast [them] down to Tartarus with chains of deepest gloom, delivered [them], having been reserved to judgment, (Tartaroō g5020)
crescite vero in gratia et in cognitione Domini nostri et salvatoris Iesu Christi ipsi gloria et nunc et in die aeternitatis amen (aiōn g165)
and increase in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; to Him [is] the glory both now, and to the day of the age! Amen.
and the Life appeared, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the continuous Life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us— (aiōnios g166)
and the world is passing away, and the desire of it, but he who is doing the will of God, he remains—throughout the age.
and this is the promise that He promised us—the continuous life.
Everyone who is hating his brother is a manslayer, and you have known that no manslayer has continuous life remaining in him; (aiōnios g166)
and this is the testimony, that God gave continuous life to us, and this life is in His Son; (aiōnios g166)
haec scripsi vobis ut sciatis quoniam vitam habetis aeternam qui creditis in nomine Filii Dei (aiōnios g166)
I wrote these things to you who are believing in the Name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have continuous life, and that you may believe in the Name of the Son of God.
but we have known that the Son of God has come, and has given us a mind that we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ; this One is the true God and the continuous Life!
because of the truth that is remaining in us, and will be with us throughout the age, (aiōn g165)
angelos vero qui non servaverunt suum principatum sed dereliquerunt suum domicilium in iudicium magni diei vinculis aeternis sub caligine reservavit (aïdios g126)
messengers also, those who did not keep their own principality, but left their proper dwelling, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness until [the] judgment of [the] great day, (aïdios g126)
as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these [messengers], having given themselves to whoredom, and having gone after other flesh, have been set before [as] an example, undergoing the justice of continuous fire. (aiōnios g166)
fluctus feri maris despumantes suas confusiones sidera errantia quibus procella tenebrarum in aeternum servata est (aiōn g165)
wild waves of a sea, foaming up their own shameful [deeds]; stars going astray, for whom the gloom of the darkness throughout the age has been kept. (aiōn g165)
ipsos vos in dilectione Dei servate (aiōnios g166)
keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [resulting] in continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
to the only wise God our Savior, [is] glory and greatness, power and authority, both now and forever! Amen.

and when the living creatures give glory, and honor, and thanksgiving, to the [One] sitting on the throne, the [One] living through the ages of the ages, (aiōn g165)
