And I know that His commandment is eternal life. Now whatsoever thing I say, as the Father has spoken unto me, so I say. (aiōnios )
Dicit ei Petrus: Non lavabis mihi pedes in aeternum. Respondit ei Iesus: Si non lavero te, non habebis partem mecum. (aiōn )
Peter says to Him, You may never wash my feet. Jesus responded to him, If I wash thee not, thou hast not part with me.
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may be with you always, (aiōn )
Sicut dedisti ei potestatem omnis carnis, ut omne, quod dedisti ei, det eis vitam aeternam. (aiōnios )
as thou didst give Him authority over all flesh, in order that whatsoever thou hast given unto Him, He may give unto them eternal life.
But this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou didst send.
because thou wilt not leave my soul in Hades, nor suffer thy Holy One to see corruption.
foreseeing he spoke concerning the resurrection of Christ, that He was not left in Hades, neither did His flesh see corruption. (Hadēs )
quem oportet quidem caelum suscipere usque in tempora restitutionis omnium, quae locutus est Deus per os sanctorum suorum a saeculo Prophetarum. (aiōn )
whom it behooves heaven indeed to receive until the times of the restitution of all things which God spoke through the mouth of all his prophets from the beginning.
And Paul and Barnabas speaking boldly, said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you: since you have rejected it, and judge yourselves not worthy of eternal life, behold we now turn to the Gentiles.
And the Gentiles hearing, rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord: and so many as had been ordained unto eternal life believed: (aiōnios )
Notum a saeculo est Domino opus suum. (aiōn )
known from the beginning.
for the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are seen, being known by the things which are made, even His eternal power and divinity; so that they are without excuse: (aïdios )
Amen. (aiōn )
who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for evermore: amen.
to those indeed who with patience of good work are seeking glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: (aiōnios )
in order that as sin reigned through death, so may grace reign also through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
Nunc vero liberati a peccato, servi autem facti Deo, habetis fructum vestrum in sanctificationem, finem vero vitam aeternam. (aiōnios )
But now having been made free from sin, and having become servants unto God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end eternal life. (aiōnios )
Stipendia enim peccati, mors. Gratia autem Dei, vita aeterna, in Christo Iesu Domino nostro. (aiōnios )
For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, (aiōnios )
Amen. (aiōn )
of whom are the fathers, and of whom is Christ according to the flesh. Who is over all, God blessed forever: amen.
(Abyssos )
or, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring him up from the dead. (Abyssos )
For God has shut up all in unbelief, in order that he may have mercy on all.
Amen. (aiōn )
Because of Him, and through him, and unto him, are all things: to him be glory forever: amen.
and he not fashioned after this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
To Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been hidden during the eternal times, (aiōnios )
but having now indeed been made manifest, through the prophetical scriptures, and having been made known to all the Gentiles, according to the commandment of the eternal God, unto the obedience of faith; (aiōnios )
Amen. (aiōn )
to God who alone is wise, through Jesus Christ, to the glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Ubi sapiens? ubi scriba? ubi conquisitor huius saeculi? Nonne stultam fecit Deus sapientiam huius mundi? (aiōn )
Where is the wise man? where is the scribe? where is the investigator of this age? has not God rendered the wisdom of the world foolishness?
But we speak wisdom among the perfect: not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nought: (aiōn )
but we speak the wisdom of God having been hidden in a mystery, which God predestinated before the ages unto our glory: (aiōn )
which no one of the princes of this age knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Let no one deceive himself. If any one seems to be wise among you in this age, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. (aiōn )
Quapropter si esca scandalizat fratrem meum: non manducabo carnem in aeternum, ne fratrem meum scandalizem. (aiōn )
If indeed meat causes my brother to stumble, I never eat any more meat, in order that I may not lay a stumblingblock in the way of my brother.
But these things happened unto them as examples; and were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have descended. (aiōn )
Ubi est mors victoria tua? ubi est mors stimulus tuus? (Hadēs )
O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?
in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who believe not, in order that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, may not shine on them.
For the light burden of our affliction, which is evanescent, is working out for us an eternal weight of glory according to hyperbole unto hyperbole; (aiōnios )
we not looking at the things which are visible, but the things which are invisible; for the visible things are temporary, but the invisible things are eternal.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle may be taken down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness abides forever.
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the one being blessed forever, knows that I lie not.
who gave Himself for our sins, in order that he might redeem us from the present evil age, according to the will of God even our Father: (aiōn )
cui est gloria in saecula saeculorum: Amen. (aiōn )
To whom be glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen.
because the one sowing to his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but the one sowing to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.
above all government, and authority, and power, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but in the age to come: (aiōn )
in quibus aliquando ambulastis secundum saeculum mundi huius, secundum principem potestatis aeris huius, spiritus, qui nunc operatur in filios diffidentiae, (aiōn )
in which at one time you walked about according to the age of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit which is now working in the sons of disobedience; (aiōn )
ut ostenderet in saeculis supervenientibus abundantes divitias gratiae suae in bonitate super nos in Christo Iesu. (aiōn )
in order that he may show in coming ages the superabounding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
and to shine forth what is the economy of the mystery which has been hidden from the ages in God who created all things; (aiōn )
secundum praefinitionem saeculorum, quam fecit in Christo Iesu Domino nostro: (aiōn )
according to the purpose of the ages which he made in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōn )
Ipsi gloria in Ecclesia, et in Christo Iesu in omnes generationes saeculi saeculorum. Amen. (aiōn )
to him be glory in the church indeed in Christ Jesus unto all the generations of the age of the ages: Amen.
because there is not to us fighting against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the heavenlies.
To God even our Father be the glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen.
the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from the generations: but is now made manifest to his saints, (aiōn )
qui poenas dabunt in interitu aeternas a facie Domini, et a gloria virtutis eius: (aiōnios )
who shall suffer vengeance, eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might, (aiōnios )
and our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, the one having loved us and given eternal consolation and good hope through grace, (aiōnios )
but on this account I obtained mercy, in order that Jesus Christ might in me the chief show forth all longsuffering, for an example of those about to believe on him unto eternal life.
Amen. (aiōn )
But to the King of the ages, the incorruptible, invisible, only God, be honor and glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Certa bonum certamen fidei, apprehende vitam aeternam, in qua vocatus es, et confessus bonam confessionem coram multis testibus. (aiōnios )
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, into which you have been called, and witnessed a beautiful testimony before many witnesses.
he alone having immortality, inhabiting light unapproachable; whom no one of men has seen, or is able to see: to whom be honor and power eternal. Amen.
Charge the rich in this world not to think high things, nor to hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who richly supplies us all things for our enjoyment; (aiōn )
the one having saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the eternal times, (aiōnios )
On account of this I endure all things for the sake of the elect, in order that they may also have the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
For Demas has left me, having loved the present age, and is gone into Thessalonica; Crescents into Galatia, Titus into Dalmatia. (aiōn )
Liberavit me Dominus ab omni opere malo: et salvum faciet in regnum suum caeleste, cui gloria in saecula saeculorum. Amen. (aiōn )
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and save me into his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen.
in the hope of eternal life, which God who cannot lie, promised before the eternal times, (aiōnios )
teaching us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we must live prudently and righteously and holily in this present age; (aiōn )
ut iustificati gratia ipsius, heredes simus secundum spem vitae aeternae. (aiōnios )
in order that, being justified by his faith, we may be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
for on this account he suddenly departed from you for an hour, that you might have him back forever; (aiōnios )
whom he put forth the heir of all things, and through whom he created the ages; (aiōn )
Ad filium autem: Thronus tuus Deus in saeculum saeculi: virga aequitatis, virga regni tui. (aiōn )
Thy throne, O God, is unto the age of the age; and the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. (aiōn )
Quemadmodum et in alio loco dicit: Tu es sacerdos in aeternum, secundum ordinem Melchisedech. (aiōn )
as also he says in another place, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
and having been made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation to all those who obey him; (aiōnios )
of the teaching of baptisms, and of the laying on of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
gustaverunt nihilominus bonum Dei verbum, virtutesque saeculi venturi, (aiōn )
and having tasted the beautiful word of God, and the dynamites of the coming age, (aiōn )
ubi praecursor pro nobis introivit Iesus, secundum ordinem Melchisedech pontifex factus in aeternum. (aiōn )
whither Jesus the forerunner has entered in our behalf, having been made a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn )
Contestatur enim: Quoniam tu es sacerdos in aeternum, secundum ordinem Melchisedech. (aiōn )
For it is testified, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
but He with an oath through the one saying to him, The Lord hath sworn, and will not regret it; thou art a priest forever; (aiōn )
but he, because he abides forever, has an unchangeable priesthood: (aiōn )
For the law institutes men high priests, having infirmity; but the word of the oath, which is after the law, the Son, having been made perfect forever.
neither through the blood of goats and bullocks, but through his own blood, came once into the holies, having found eternal redemption.
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered up himself without spot to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And on this account he is mediator of the new covenant, since there being death, unto the redemption of the transgressions unto the first covenant, those having been called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
since it behooved him frequently to suffer from the foundation of the world: but now in the end of the ages he has been made manifest unto the removal of sin through the sacrifice of himself.
By faith we understand that the worlds were created by the word of God, and that which was seen was not made from things which are manifest. (aiōn )
Iesus Christus heri, et hodie: ipse et in saecula. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day, and forever.
And the God of peace, the one having raised up from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ, the great shepherd of the sheep, make you perfect, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, (aiōnios )
Amen. (aiōn )
in every good thing to do his will, doing that which is acceptable in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory unto the age of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Et lingua ignis est, universitas iniquitatis. Lingua constituitur in membris nostris, quae maculat totum corpus, et inflammat rotam nativitatis nostrae inflammata a gehenna. (Geenna )
The tongue, a fire, the world of iniquity: the tongue sits down in the midst of our members, and corrupting the whole body, and setting on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire from hell. (Geenna )
having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the word of God, who lives and abides.
but the word of the Lord abides forever. And this is the word which has been preached unto you.
if any one speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any one ministers, as from the strength which God supplies; in order that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ; to whom there is glory and power unto the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Deus autem omnis gratiae, qui vocavit nos in aeternam suam gloriam in Christo Iesu, modicum passos ipse perficiet, confirmabit, solidabitque. (aiōnios )
But the God of all grace, the one having called you into his own eternal glory in Christ, will himself make you perfect, having suffered a little while, will establish you, will strengthen you, will settle you. (aiōnios )
Ipsi gloria, et imperium in saecula saeculorum: Amen. (aiōn )
To him is the power unto the age of the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
Sic enim abundanter ministrabitur vobis introitus in aeternum regnum Domini nostri, et Salvatoris Iesu Christi. (aiōnios )
For in this way an entrance will be administered unto you abundantly into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
For if God spared not the angels who sinned, but having sent them down to hell, committed them to chains of darkness to be kept unto judgment; (Tartaroō )
crescite vero in gratia, et in cognitione Domini nostri, et Salvatoris Iesu Christi. Ipsi gloria et nunc, et in diem aeternitatis. Amen. (aiōn )
but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and unto the day of the age.
and the life was made manifest, and we have seen, and we testify, and we proclaim to you the life which is eternal, which was with the Father, and has been made manifest unto us; (aiōnios )
The world and its lust are indeed passing away; but the one doing the will of God abides forever.
This is the message which he proclaimed unto you, eternal life.
Every one hating his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in himself.
And this is the testimony, that God has given unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios )
Haec scribo vobis: ut sciatis quoniam vitam habetis aeternam, qui creditis in nomine Filii Dei. (aiōnios )
I have written these things unto you, in order that you may know that you have eternal life; to those who believe on the name of the Son of God.
But we know that the Son of God has come and has given unto us intelligence, that we know the truth. And we are in the true one, in his Son Jesus Christ; he is the true God, and eternal life.
on account of the truth which abides in us, and shall be with us forever.
and the angels who kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, has he kept in eternal chains unto darkness unto the judgment of the great day: (aïdios )
as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, in a manner like unto them committing fornication, and going after other flesh, present an example receiving the vengeance of eternal fire. (aiōnios )
fluctus feri maris, despumantes suas confusiones, sidera errantia: quibus procella tenebrarum servata est in aeternum. (aiōn )
wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own disgraces; wandering stars, for which the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn )
vosmetipsos in dilectione Dei servate, expectantes misericordiam Domini nostri Iesu Christi in vitam aeternam. (aiōnios )
keep yourselves in the divine love of God, receiving the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Amen. (aiōn )

Nisi quia Dominus adiuvit me: paulominus habitasset in inferno anima mea. ()
