ಯೋಬನು 37
1 “ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನಡುಗಿ, ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಜಿಗಿಯುವಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
At this also mine heart is astonied, and is mooued out of his place.
2 ದೇವರ ಧ್ವನಿಯ ಘರ್ಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ದೇವರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕೊಟ್ಟು ಆಲಿಸಿರಿ.
Heare the sound of his voyce, and the noyse that goeth out of his mouth.
3 ತಮ್ಮ ಮಿಂಚನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅದನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಂಚುಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
He directeth it vnder the whole heauen, and his light vnto the endes of the world.
4 ಮಿಂಚಿನ ತರುವಾಯ ಘರ್ಜನೆಯ ಶಬ್ದ ಕೇಳಿಬರುವುದು; ದೇವರು ಮಹತ್ತಿನ ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಗುಡುಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದೇವರ ಸ್ವರ ಕೇಳುವಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲಾಗದು.
After it a noyse soundeth: hee thundereth with the voyce of his maiestie, and hee will not stay them when his voyce is heard.
5 ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರದಿಂದ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಡುಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾವು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾಗದ ಮಹಾತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
God thundereth marueilously with his voyce: he worketh great things, which we know not.
6 ದೇವರು ಹಿಮಕ್ಕೆ, ‘ಹದವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬೀಳು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಳೆಗೆ, ‘ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ರಭಸದಿಂದ ಸುರಿ’ ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For he sayth to the snowe, Be thou vpon the earth: likewise to the small rayne and to the great rayne of his power.
7 ಹೀಗೆ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ದುಡಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
With the force thereof he shutteth vp euery man, that all men may knowe his worke.
8 ಆಗ ಮೃಗಗಳು ಅಡಗುವ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಗುಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತವೆ.
Then the beastes go into the denne, and remaine in their places.
9 ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ಬೀಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಚಳಿಯೂ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ.
The whirlewind commeth out of the South, and the colde from the North winde.
10 ದೇವರ ಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ನೀರು ಮಂಜುಗಡ್ಡೆ ಆಗುವುದು; ವಿಶಾಲ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
At the breath of God the frost is giuen, and the breadth of the waters is made narrowe.
11 ಮೋಡವನ್ನು ತೇವಾಂಶದಿಂದ ಭಾರಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಮೇಘಮಂಡಲವು ದೇವರ ಮಿಂಚನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
He maketh also the cloudes to labour, to water the earth, and scattereth the cloude of his light.
12 ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಿಡಿಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅವು ತಿರುಗುತ್ತವೆ.
And it is turned about by his gouernment, that they may doe whatsoeuer he commandeth them vpon the whole worlde:
13 ಜನರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಲು, ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Whether it be for punishment, or for his lande, or of mercie, he causeth it to come.
14 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೋಬನೇ, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು; ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ದೇವರ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸು.
Hearken vnto this, O Iob: stand and consider the wonderous workes of God.
15 ದೇವರು ಮೋಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವುದನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿರುವೆಯಾ? ದೇವರ ಮೇಘದ ಸಿಡಿಲು ಹೊಳೆಯುವುದನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವೆಯಾ?
Diddest thou knowe when God disposed them? and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
16 ಮೋಡಗಳ ತೂಗಾಟವನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆಯಾ? ಜ್ಞಾನಪೂರ್ಣರಾದ ದೇವರ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆಯಾ?
Hast thou knowen the varietie of the cloude, and the wonderous workes of him, that is perfite in knowledge?
17 ಭೂಮಿಯು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ತಬ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿಸಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತವೆ?
Or howe thy clothes are warme, when he maketh the earth quiet through the South winde?
18 ಎರಕ ಹೊಯ್ದ ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ, ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆಯಾ?
Hast thou stretched out the heaues, which are strong, and as a molten glasse?
19 “ನಾವು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು; ನಮ್ಮ ಅಂಧಕಾರದಿಂದ ನಾವು ಏನೂ ವಾದಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
Tell vs what we shall say vnto him: for we can not dispose our matter because of darknes.
20 ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕಳುಹಿಸಬೇಕೆ? ಹಾಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೆ, ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬದುಕಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ?
Shall it be told him when I speake? or shall man speake when he shalbe destroyed?
21 ಗಾಳಿ ಬೀಸಿ ಆಕಾಶ ಶುಭ್ರವಾದಾಗ, ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುವ ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲಾಗದು ಹೌದು, ಯಾರೂ ದಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಲಾರರು.
And nowe men see not the light, which shineth in the cloudes, but the winde passeth and clenseth them.
22 ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಹೊನ್ನಿನ ಹೊಳಪು ಬರುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ದೇವರ ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
The brightnesse commeth out of the North: the praise thereof is to God, which is terrible.
23 ಇಂಥಾ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲಾಗದು; ದೇವರು ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮಹಾ ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇವರು ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆ ನಡೆಸುವವರಲ್ಲ.
It is the Almightie: we can not finde him out: he is excellent in power and iudgement, and aboundant in iustice: he afflicteth not.
24 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ತಾವೇ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವವರು ದೇವರು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”
Let men therefore feare him: for he will not regarde any that are wise in their owne conceit.
