ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 16

1 ನೀವು ಅಬೀಬ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅಬೀಬ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದರು.

Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Pesac ·Passover· to Adonai your God; for in the month of Abib Adonai your God brought you out of Egypt [Abode of slavery] by night.

2 ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಆಡುಕುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ದನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಲಿ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಪಶುವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.

You shall sacrifice the Pesac ·Passover· to Adonai your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Adonai shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.

3 ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹುಳಿರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಶ್ರಮೆಯ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನೀವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಜೀವಿಸುವ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇದನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

You shall eat no leavened bread with it. You shall eat matzah ·unleavened bread· with it seven days, even the bread of affliction; for you came out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] in haste; that you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] all the days of your life.

4 ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಹುಳಿ ಕಲಸಿದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಾಣಬಾರದು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸದ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾಂಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೂ ಮರುದಿವಸದವರೆಗೆ ಉಳಿಯಬಾರದು.

No yeast shall be seen with you in all your borders seven days; neither shall any of the meat, which you sacrifice the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning.

5 ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಯಾವ ಊರಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು.

You may not sacrifice the Pesac ·Passover· within any of your gates, which Adonai your God gives you;

6 ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸುವಾಗ ನೀವು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.

but at the place which Adonai your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell in, there you shall sacrifice the Pesac ·Passover· at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came out of Egypt [Abode of slavery].

7 ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬೇಯಿಸಿ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಮರುದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬಹುದು.

You shall roast and eat it in the place which Adonai your God chooses. In the morning you shall teshuvah ·completely return· to your tents.

8 ಆರು ದಿವಸ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಭೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಬರಬೇಕು. ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡಬಾರದು.

Six days you shall eat matzah ·unleavened bread·. On the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Adonai your God. You shall do no work.

9 ಏಳು ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಪೈರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡುಗೋಲು ಮೊದಲು ಹಾಕಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಏಳು ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಬೇಕು.

You shall count for yourselves seven weeks. From the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain you shall begin to count seven weeks.

10 ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಬೆಳೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಷ್ಟು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಾರಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು

You shall keep the festival of Shavu'ot ·Weeks· / Pentacost ·Fifty· to Adonai your God with a tribute of a free will offering of your hand, which you shall give, according as Adonai your God blesses you.

11 ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಮಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು, ದಾಸದಾಸಿಯರು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಊರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಲೇವಿಯರು, ಪರದೇಶದವರು, ತಂದೆತಾಯಿ ಇಲ್ಲದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಧವೆಯರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು.

You shall rejoice before Adonai your God: you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite [Descendant of United with] who is within your gates, the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow, who are among you, in the place which Adonai your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.

12 ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಲಾಮರಾಗಿದ್ದೆವೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಈ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.

You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt [Abode of slavery]. You shall observe and do these statutes.

13 ನೀವು ಕಣದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಆಲೆಯ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೂ ಪೂರೈಸಿ, ಬೆಳೆಯನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ತಂದಾಗ, ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಗುಡಾರಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.

You shall keep Sukkot ·Booths· seven days, after you have gathered in from your threshing floor and from your wine press.

14 ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ದಾಸದಾಸಿಯರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಊರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಪರದೇಶದವರೂ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿ ಇಲ್ಲದವರೂ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಧವೆಯರೂ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು.

You shall rejoice in your feast, you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite, the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow, who are within your gates.

15 ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಇರಬೇಕು.

You shall keep a feast to Adonai your God seven days in the place which Adonai chooses; because Adonai your God will bless you in all your increase, and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.

16 ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾರಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಡಾರಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪುರುಷರು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಬರೀ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬರಬಾರದು.

Three times in a year all of your males shall appear before Adonai your God in the place which he chooses: in the festival of Matzah ·Unleavened bread·, in the festival of Shavu'ot ·Weeks· / Pentacost ·Fifty·, and in the festival of Sukkot ·Booths·. They shall not appear before Adonai empty.

17 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.

Every man shall give as he is able, according to Adonai your God’s blessing which he has given you.

18 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೊಡುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಬೇಕು.

You shall make judges and officers in all your gates, which Adonai your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.

19 ನೀವು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಬಾರದು. ನೀವು ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ನೋಡಬಾರದು, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಲಂಚವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು, ಲಂಚವು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರುಡುಮಾಡಿ, ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಗೆ ದೊರಕಬೇಕಾದ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

You shall not pervert mishpat ·justice·. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the upright.

20 ನೀವು ಬದುಕಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು.

You shall follow that which is altogether just, that you may live, and inherit the land which Adonai your God gives you.

21 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಶೇರ ಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬಾರದು.

You shall not plant for yourselves an Asherah of any kind of tree beside Adonai your God’s altar, which you shall make for yourselves.

22 ಯಾವ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬಾರದು. ಇದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Neither shall you set yourself up a sacred stone which Adonai your God hates.
