< Joni 15 >

1 Jisasi'a mago'ane anage hu'ne, Nagra tamage waini zafamofo nena'a mani'noe. Nenfa'a waini hozamofo nefa'e.
I am the True Vine, and my Father is the Vine-grower.
2 Hakare azankuna'amo Nagripi me'neno raga reontesimofona, Agra akafri netreno, hakare azankuna'amo raga rentesiana, mago'ene traga huno eri fatgo hanigeno, aguheno raga rentegahie.
Any unfruitful branch in me he takes away, and he cleanses every fruitful branch, that it may bear more fruit.
3 Tamagra ko agru hu'naze, na'ankure kema tamasmi'noa kemo tamazeri agru hu'ne.
You are already clean because of the Message that I have given you.
4 Nagri nagu'afi emaninenke'na, Nagra tamagri tmagu'afi mani'neno. Zafa azankuna'amo agra avesitera raga'a reontegahie, waini zafare azankuna'amo ru okamare snuno'a raga reontegahie. Hagi Nagrite'ma ruokamare'sutma raga'a reontegahaze.
Remain united to me, and I will remain united to you. As a branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains united to the vine; no more can you, unless you remain united to me.
5 Nagra waini zafa mani'nogeta, tamagra azankuna'a mani'naze. Iza'o Nagripi manige'na agripi mani'nomo'a, rama'a raga renente, Nagri'ma natresuta mago'zana osu'tfa hugahaze.
I am the Vine, you are the branches. He that remains united to me, while I remain united to him — he bears fruit plentifully; for you can do nothing apart from me.
6 Mago vahe'mo'ma Nagri'ene tragoteno omanisimofona, azankuna eritru hu'nazageno osaparea kna hina, mate vu'za tevefi kregahaze.
If any one does not remain united to me, he is thrown away, as a branch would be, and withers up. Such branches are collected and thrown into the fire, and are burnt.
7 Tamagrama, Nagri'ene tragoteta mani'ne'nageno, naneke ni'amo tamagri tamagu'afi'ma me'nena, tamesinia zankuma nantahigesazana amne erigahaze.
If you remain united to me, and my teaching remains in your hearts, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be yours.
8 Tamagra rama'a raga renentenkeno, Nenfa'a ra agi erisige'za nege'za, Nagri namage nentaza disaipol vahere hu'za tamagrikura hugahaze.
It is by your bearing fruit plentifully, and so showing yourselves my disciples, that my Father is honoured.
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; remain in my love.
10 Tamagrama kasege ni'ama amage' antesuta, tamagra Nagri navesimofo agu'afi manigahaze, Nagrama, Nenfa kasegema amage ante'na, Agri avesizamofo agu'afi mani'noankna huta manigahaze.
If you lay my commands to heart, you will remain in my love; just as I have laid the Father’s commands to heart and remain in his love.
11 Ama zanku'ma Nagra nermasmuana, Nagri muse zamo tamagri tamagu'afi me'nigeno, musezantmimo'a avitegahie.
I have told you all this so that my own joy may be yours, and that your joy may be complete.
12 Ama'i Nagri kasege, tamararunku ovesinte, avesinte hiho. Nagrama, tamagri'ma navesi tamante'noa kna hiho.
This is my command — Love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Mago'mo'ma rone'agu avesinteno, agra asimuma atreno frisimo'a, tusi'a ugota hu'nea avesiza huzmerigahie.
No one can give greater proof of love than by laying down his life for his friends.
14 Nagrama neramasmua kasegema amage antesutma Tamagra, Nagri rone manigahaze.
And you are my friends, if you do what I command you.
I no longer call you ‘servants,’ because a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have given you the name of ‘friends,’ because I made known to you everything that I learned from my Father.
16 Tamagra, Nagrira huhampri'onante'naze, hianagi Nagra, tamagrira huhampritamantena, tamazeri oti'noe, vuta nena raga'a ome rentesageno, ana ragamo me'nena, na'ankuro Nagri nagifi Nenfama antahigesageno'a, Agra amne tmigahie.
It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you, and I appointed you to go and bear fruit — fruit that should remain, so that the Father might grant you whatever you ask in my Name.
17 Nagra ama kasege neramasmue, tmararuna ovesinte avesinte hiho.
I am giving you these commands that you may love one another.
18 Jisasi'a amanage huno zamasmi'ne, Ama mopafi vahe'mo'za ha' rermantesaza zanku kva hiho, na'ankure ese agafare, Nagri ha' renante'naze.
If the world hates you, you know that it has first hated me.
19 Ama'na mopafi vahe mani'naresina, ama mopafi vahe'mo'za tagri vahere hu'za zamesi rmantasine, ana hu'neanagi na'ankure tamagra ama mopafi vahera omani'naze. Hianagi Nagra ama mopafinti tamagrira tmavre'noe, ana agafare ama mopafi vahe'mo'za hara reneramantaze.
If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own. Because you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world — that is why the world hates you.
Remember what I said to you — ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have laid my Message to heart, they will lay yours to heart also.
But they will do all this to you, because you believe in my Name, for they do not know him who sent me.
22 Nagrama naneke e'na eme ozmasmuasina, zamagrira kumi'zmi omanesine. Hianagi menina kumi'zmia eri fraki kazamia omnegahie.
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have had no sin to answer for; but as it is, they have no excuse for their sin.
He who hates me hates my Father also.
24 Mago'a vahe'mo'za e'orinaza kaguva eri'zama zamagri amu'nompi e'ori'noasinia, kumi'zmia omnesine. Hianagi menina kaguva eri'zani'a kazanagi, Nagri'ene Nenfanena ha' renerantaze.
If I had not done among them such work as no one else ever did, they would have had no sin to answer for; but, as it is, they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 Menima anazama nehazana, zamagri kasegefi kre'naza ke eri knare nehaze, Mago havizana Nagra osunoge'za, hara renenantaze. (Sam-Zga 69:4)
And so is fulfilled what is said in their Law — ‘They hated me without cause.’
26 Hagi tamazama hu'zama huntesugeno Nenfantegati tamagrite'ma esuno'a, Agra Tamage Avamukino Nagri nagenkea eriama hugahie.
But, when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father — the Spirit of Truth, who comes from the Father — he will bear testimony to me;
27 Tamagranena ana zanke hutma Nagri nanekea huama hugahaze, na'ankure tamagra Nagrane mani'nage'na, eri'zana eri agafa hu'na eri'noe.
yes, and you also are to bear testimony, because you have been with me from the first.
