1 Hagi Isipi mopafima me'nea kumatamina, Migdolima, Tapanesima, Memfisine, Patrosi kazigama hu'za nemani'naza Juda vahe'ma zamasamisia nanekea Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno Jeremaiana asami'ne.
The word came to Jeremiah concerning all the Judeans who lived in the land of Egypt, the ones staying in Migdol, Tahpanhes, Memphis, and in Upper Egypt:
2 Hagi Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a huno, Jerusalemi kumate'ene, Juda mopafima me'nea kuma taminte'ma knazama atrogeno'ma eme zamazeri havizama hu'neana, ko keta antahita hu'naze. Hagi antahiho, menima kesazana ana kuma tamimo'a havizantfa hazageno, anampina magore hu'za vahera omani'naze.
“Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, says, 'You yourselves have seen all the disasters that I brought on Jerusalem and all the cities of Judah. See, they are ruins today. There is no one to live in them.
3 Na'ankure zamagra kefo avu'ava'ma hazazamo Nagrira nazeri narimpa nehe'za, zamagrane, tamagrane, tamafahe'zanena keta antahita osu'naza anumzaraminte mnanentake zana ofa kremna vunte vavama huta vu'nazagu anara hu'noe.
This is because of the wicked things they did to offend me by going to burn incense and to worship other gods. These were gods that neither they themselves, nor you, nor your ancestors knew.'
4 Hagi Nagra knane knane eri'za vaheni'a kasampa vahera huzmantoge'za tamagritega e'za, amanage hu'naze. Nagri'ma nave'nosia hi'mnage avu'ava zana osiho hu'za eme tamasami'naze.
So I repeatedly sent all of my servants the prophets to them. I sent them to say, 'Stop doing these abominable things that I hate.'
But they did not listen. They refused to pay attention or turn from their wickedness in burning incense to other gods.
6 E'ina'ma hazageno'a Nagrira tusi narimpa ahege'na Juda mopafima me'nea ranra kumataminte'ene Jerusalemi kumapima me'nea ne'onse kantamimpinena narimpa ahe'zana eri kaha hutre'na ana kumatamina eri haviza hutrogeno ka'ma koka meno eno ama knarera menina ehanati'ne.
So my fury and my wrath were poured out and kindled a fire in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. So they became ruins and devastations, as at this present day.'
7 Hagi menina Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a huno, Nahigeta tamagra'a tamavatera hazenkea huta knazana avreta ne-eta venene naga'ene a'nanene naga'ene mofavre naga'ene, ne'onse mofavre naga'enena fanane hanageno Juda vahera omani'sazegura anara nehaze?
So now Yahweh, the God of hosts and the God of Israel, says this, 'Why are you doing great wickedness against yourselves? Why are you causing yourselves to be cut off from among Judah—men and women, children and babies? No remnant of you will be left.
8 Hagi nahigeta tamagra Isipi mopafima emanineta tamazanteti'ma avako'ma huta tro'ma haza zamo'ene, ru anumzantaminte'ma ofama hazazamo'a Nagrira nazeri narimpa ahe'naze? Ana hu'nagu tamagra'a tamazeri havizantfa hanage'za, ru moparega vahe'mo'za neramage'za kizazokago ke huneramante'za, ha' vahezamima sifnagema huzmante'nakura, Juda vahe'mo'zama havizama hu'nazaza huta haviza hiho hu'za huzamantegahaze.
By your wickedness you have offended me with the deeds of your hands, by burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you have gone to live. You have gone there so that you will be destroyed, so that you will be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth.
9 Hagi tamagehe'zane, Juda kini vahe'ene a'ne zamimo'zane, tamagrane a'ne tamimo'zanema, Juda mopafine Jerusalemi kumapima me'nea ne'onse kantamimpima hu'naza havi avu'ava zankura ko tamage kani'nefi?
Have you forgotten the wickedness committed by your ancestors and the wickedness committed by the kings of Judah and their wives? Have you forgotten the evil committed by yourselves and your wives in the land of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem?
10 Hagi meninena tamagra tamavufga anteramita Nagri agorga nomanita, tamagri'ene tamafahe'inema zami'noa kasegene tra keni'anena amagera onte'naze.
To this day, they still are not humbled. They do not honor my law or decrees that I placed before them and their ancestors, nor do they walk in them.'
11 E'ina hu'negu Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a huno, Nagra navugosa rukrahe hu'na hara huneramantena knazana tami'na Juda vahera maka tamazeri haviza huvagaregahue.
Therefore Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, says this, 'See, I am about to set my face against you to bring disaster to you and to destroy all of Judah.
For I will take the remnant of Judah that has set out to go to the land of Egypt to live there. I will do this so that they will all perish in the land of Egypt. They will fall by sword and famine. From the least to the greatest they will perish by sword and famine. They will die and will become an object of swearing, cursing, reproaching, and a horrible thing.
13 Hagi Isipi mopafima umani'naza vahera, Jerusalemi kumapima mani'naza vahe'ma hu'noaza hu'na bainati kazinteti'ene, zamagatonto zanteti'ene, krireti'ene hu'na zamazeri haviza hugahue.
For I will punish the people inhabiting the land of Egypt just as I punished Jerusalem with the sword, with famine, and with the plague,
14 Ana hanuge'za osi'a Juda vahe'ma Isipi mopafima emani'naza vahepintira magomo'e huno ana knazana agatereno vuno, ete umanisunema hu'zama zamavesi zamavesi'ma nehaza Juda moparera uomanigahaze. Hianagi anampintira osi'a naga'mozage ete vugahaze.
so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone to live in the land of Egypt will escape or survive or return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return and live; and none of them will return except a few who escaped from there.'”
15 Hagi anante maka vene'nemo'zane, a'nezmimo'zama ru anumzante'ma mananentake zama kre mnama vu ofama nehage'zama antahi'naza vene'neramine, Isipi mopafima Patrosi kumate'ma nemaniza Juda vahe'mo'zanena eme atru hute'za Jeremaiana amanage hu'za kenona hunte'naze.
Then all the men who knew that their wives were burning incense to other gods, and all the women who were in the great assembly, and all the people who were living in Lower and Upper Egypt, answered Jeremiah.
16 Kagra Ra Anumzamofo agifi eme neramasamuema hunka nehana nanekea tagra ontahigahune.
They said, “About the word that you have told us in Yahweh's name—we will not listen to you.
17 Hianagi tagra tamagerfa huta mikazama hugahunema huta huvempama hu'nona nanekere otineta, monafi kuini a'mofonte mananentake zantamima kre mnavu ofa nehuta, waini tinema tagitreta ofa hugahune. Tagehe'za e'inahu avu'ava hu'nazankita tagrane, kini vahetimo'zane, kva vahetimo'zanena Judama me'nea kumatamimpine, Jerusalemi kumapima me'nea ne'onse kantamimpinena ofa hu'none. Ana hu'nonanagi ana knafina ne'zankura atupara osuta knare huta nemanita, hazenkea e'ori'none.
For we will certainly do all the things that we said we would do—burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her just as we, our ancestors, our kings, and our leaders did in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. Then we will be filled with food and will prosper, without experiencing any disaster.
18 Hianagi tagrama monafi kuini ate'ma mananentake zama kre manama ovuta, waini tima tagi tre ofama osu'nana, tagra maka zankura atupa nehunkeno, mago'a bainati kazinteti tahe nefrizageta, mago'a ne'zanku huta fri'none.
When we refrained from doing these things, not offering incense to the queen of heaven and not pouring out drink offerings to her, we were all suffering poverty and were dying by sword and famine.”
19 Hagi anankema haza agofetura a'nemo'za hu'za, tagrama monafi kuini a'te'ma mananentake zantamima kre manavu ofama nehuta, waini tima tagi tre ofama nehuta, agri avugosama me'nea kekiramima tro huta waini tinema tagita ofama hu'nonana, tagra'a antahi zantetira osu'nonanki nerave'za hu izo hazageta anara hu'none.
The women said, “When we were making incense offerings before the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, was it against our husbands that we did these things, making cakes in her image and pouring out drink offerings to her?”
20 Hagi anante Jeremaia'a ana maka veamokizmi nanekerera amanage huno ke nona huzmante'ne.
Then Jeremiah said to all the people—to the men and women, and all the people who answered him—he proclaimed and said,
21 Tamagrama antahi'zana tamagrane tamagehe'zane, kini vahetamimo'zane, kva vahe'tamimo'zane, maka vahe'motanema Juda mopafima me'nea kumatamimpine Jerusalemi kumapima me'nea ne'onse kantamimpinema, mana nentake zantamima kre mnavu ofama hu'naza avu'ava zankura, tamagrama antahi'zana Ra Anumzamofo antahi'zampina omanegeno hago agekanine huta nehazafi?
“Did not Yahweh remember the incense that you burned in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem—you and your ancestors, your kings and leaders, and the people of the land? For Yahweh calls this to mind; it comes to his thoughts.
22 Hagi tamagrama hu'naza havi avu'ava zane, kasrino hi'mnage'ma hu'nea avu'ava zanema hu'naza zankura Ra Anumzamo'a avua anteno kegara osuno tusi avesra huramante'ne. E'ina hu'negu mopatamimo'a sifnafi megeno, mago zana omaneno ka'ma koka fore higeno, anampina magore huno vahera omanitfa higeno, meno eno ama knarera ehanati'ne.
Then he was no longer able to bear it because of your wicked practices, because of the abominations that you did. Then your land became a desolation, a horror, and a curse so there was no longer an inhabitant as at this present day.
23 Na'ankure tamagra mananentake zantamima kre mnavu ofaramima nehuta, Ra Anumzamofo avufi kumi nehuta, Ra Anumzamofo nanekea amagera nonteta, agri kasegene tra kenena rutagre'naze. Ana nehuta Agri eri'zama keama'ma osaza zanku huno knazana atregeno eme tamazeri haviza higeno, eno ama knarera ehanati'ne.
Because you burned incense and sinned against Yahweh, and because you would not listen to his voice, his law, his statutes, or his covenant decrees, this disaster against you has happened as at this present day.”
24 Hagi anante Jeremaia'a maka vahe'ene a'nene naga'enena amanage huno zamasami'ne. Maka Isipi mopafima mani'naza Juda vahe'mota Ra Anumzamo'ma hia nanenkea antahiho.
Then Jeremiah said to all the people and all the women, “Hear the word of Yahweh, all of Judah who are in the land of Egypt.
25 Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a huno, Tamagrane a'nene naga'tamimo'zanena huta, tagra'a tagipinti'ma huvempama hu'nona nanekere amage antegahune nehuta amanage hu'naze. Tagra monafi kuini a'tega mananentake zama kre mnavu ofaramina hunenteta, waini tima tagitre ofanena huntegahune hu'naze. E'ina hu'nazagu tamagra menina vuta nazano huvempama hu'naza zana amage anteta anazana hiho.
Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, says this, 'You and your wives both have said with your mouths and carried out with your hands what you said, “We will certainly carry out the vows that we made to worship the queen of heaven, to pour out drink offerings to her.” Now fulfill your vows; carry them out.'
26 Hianagi Juda vahe'ma Isipi mopafima nemaniza vahe'mota Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hianki antahiho, Nagra Ra Anumzamo'na hankavenentake nagifi huvempa huankino, Juda vahe'ma Isipi mopafima nemaniza vahe'mota Nagri nagifina magore huta huvempa huta, Ra Anumzana kasefa huno mani'nea Anumzamofo agifi huvempa nehune huta osutfa hugahaze.
So then, hear the word of Yahweh, all of Judah who are staying in the land of Egypt, 'See, I have sworn by my great name—says Yahweh. My name will no longer be called upon by the mouths of any of the men of Judah in all the land of Egypt, you who now say, “As the Lord Yahweh lives.”
27 Hagi antahiho!
See, I am watching over them for disaster and not for good. Every person of Judah in the land of Egypt will perish by sword and famine until they are all finished.
Then the survivors of the sword will return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, only a small number of them. So all the remnant of Judah who went to the land of Egypt to live there will know whose word will stand—mine or theirs.
29 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Tamagrama ama ana mopafima mani'nesage'nama tamazeri havizama hanua zamofo avame'zana meni tamaveri hugahue. E'ina'ma hanugeta tamagrama keta antahitama hanazana, Nagrama tamazeri haviza hugahuema hu'na hu'noa nanekemo'a, tamagerfa huno efore hugahie.
This will be the sign for you—this is Yahweh's declaration—that I am setting against you in this place, so that you will know that my words will certainly attack you with disaster.'
30 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Antahiho!
Yahweh says this, 'Look, I am about to give Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies and into the hand of those who seek to kill him. It will the same as when I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, his enemy who sought his life.'”
