マルコの福音書 16
1 さて、安息日が終わったので、マグダラのマリヤとヤコブの母マリヤとサロメとは、イエスに油を塗りに行こうと思い、香料を買った。
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 そして、週の初めの日の早朝、日が上ったとき、墓に着いた。
And very early in the morning, the first [day] of the week, they came to the sepulcher at the rising of the sun:
3 彼女たちは、「墓の入口からあの石をころがしてくれる人が、だれかいるでしょうか。」とみなで話し合っていた。
And they said among themselves, Who shall roll away for us the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
4 ところが、目を上げて見ると、あれほど大きな石だったのに、その石がすでにころがしてあった。
(And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away) for it was very great.
5 それで、墓の中にはいったところ、真白な長い衣をまとった青年が右側にすわっているのが見えた。彼女たちは驚いた。
And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were frightened.
6 青年は言った。「驚いてはいけません。あなたがたは、十字架につけられたナザレ人イエスを捜しているのでしょう。あの方はよみがえられました。ここにはおられません。ご覧なさい。ここがあの方の納められた所です。
And he saith to them, Be not frightened: ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him:
7 ですから行って、お弟子たちとペテロに、『イエスは、あなたがたより先にガリラヤへ行かれます。前に言われたとおり、そこでお会いできます。』とそう言いなさい。」
But go, tell his disciples and Peter, that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said to you.
8 女たちは、墓を出て、そこから逃げ去った。すっかり震え上がって、気も転倒していたからである。そしてだれにも何も言わなかった。恐ろしかったからである。
And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher; for they trembled, and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any [man]; for they were afraid.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) ［さて、週の初めの日の朝早くによみがえったイエスは、まずマグダラのマリヤにご自分を現わされた。イエスは、以前に、この女から七つの悪霊を追い出されたのであった。
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Now when [Jesus] was risen early, the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven demons.
10 マリヤはイエスといっしょにいた人たちが嘆き悲しんで泣いているところに行き、そのことを知らせた。
[And] she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 ところが、彼らは、イエスが生きておられ、お姿をよく見た、と聞いても、それを信じようとはしなかった。
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, believed not.
12 その後、彼らのうちのふたりがいなかのほうへ歩いていたおりに、イエスは別の姿でご自分を現わされた。
After that, he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking and going into the country.
13 そこでこのふたりも、残りの人たちのところへ行ってこれを知らせたが、彼らはふたりの話も信じなかった。
And they went and told [it] to the residue: neither believed they them.
14 しかしそれから後になって、イエスは、その十一人が食卓に着いているところに現われて、彼らの不信仰とかたくなな心をお責めになった。それは、彼らが、よみがえられたイエスを見た人たちの言うところを信じなかったからである。
Afterward he appeared to the eleven, as they sat at table, and upbraided them with their unbelief, and hardness of heart, because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen.
15 それから、イエスは彼らにこう言われた。「全世界に出て行き、すべての造られた者に、福音を宣べ伝えなさい。
And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 信じてバプテスマを受ける者は、救われます。しかし、信じない者は罪に定められます。
He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 信じる人々には次のようなしるしが伴います。すなわち、わたしの名によって悪霊を追い出し、新しいことばを語り、
And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak in new languages;
18 蛇をもつかみ、たとい毒を飲んでも決して害を受けず、また、病人に手を置けば病人はいやされます。」
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 主イエスは、彼らにこう話されて後、天に上げられて神の右の座に着かれた。
So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 そこで、彼らは出て行って、至る所で福音を宣べ伝えた。主は彼らとともに働き、みことばに伴うしるしをもって、みことばを確かなものとされた。］ 別の追加文 ［さて、女たちは、命じられたすべてのことを、ペテロとその仲間の人々にさっそく知らせた。その後、イエスご自身、彼らによって、きよく、朽ちることのない、永遠の救いのおとずれを、東の果てから、西の果てまで送り届けられた。］
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
