< Dagiti Salmo 83 >
1 O Dios, saanka nga agulimek! Saannakami a baybay-an a saanka man laeng nga agtignay.
A Song, a Melody of Asaph. O God, Do not keep quiet, Do not hold thy peace, Neither be thou still, O GOD!
2 Kitaem, agar-aramid iti riribuk dagiti kabusormo, ken napangas dagiti manggurgura kenka.
For lo! thine enemies, are tumultuous, And, they who hate thee, have lifted up the head;
3 Nagtutulagda maibusor kadagiti tattaom ken sangsangkamaysada a nagpanggep iti maibusor kadagiti salsalaknibam.
Against thy people, they craftily devise a secret plot, And conspire against thy treasured ones.
4 Kinunada, “Umaykayo, ket dadaelentayo ida a kas maysa a nasion. Ket saanton a malagip ti nagan ti Israel ni kaanoman.
They have said—Come, and let us wipe them out from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.
5 Sangsangkamaysa a nagplanoda iti maymaysa nga estratehiya; nagkaykaysada a bumusor kenka.
For they have taken counsel with one heart, Against thee—a covenant, would they solemnize—
6 Pakairamanan dagitoy dagiti tolda ti Edom, dagiti Ismaelita, dagiti tattao iti Moab ken dagiti Agareno, a nagplano iti dakes a kadua dagiti
The tents of Edom, and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, dagiti Amonita, ken dagiti Amalekita; karamanna met daytoy dagiti taga-Filistia ken dagiti agnanaed iti Tiro.
Gebal and Ammon, and Amalek, The Philistines, with the dwellers in Tyre;
8 Nakikadua met kadakuada ti Asiria; tultulonganda dagiti kaputotan ni Lot. (Selah)
Even Assyria hath joined herself with them, They have become an arm to the sons of Lot. (Selah)
9 Aramidem kadakuada ti kas iti inaramidmo kadagiti Midianita, a kas iti inaramidmo kenni Sisera ken ni Jabin idiay Karayan Kison.
Make them like Midian, like Sisera, like Jabin, by the torrent of Kishon;
10 Nagpukaw ti bagida idiay Endor ken nagbalinda a kasla rugit nga agpaay iti daga.
They perished at En-dor, They become manure for the soil!
11 Pagbalinem dagiti panguloda a kas kada Oreb ken Zeeb, ken pagbalinem a kas kada Zeba ken Zalmunna dagiti amin a prinsipeda.
Make them—their nobles—like Oreb and like Zeeb, And, like Zebah and like Zalmunna, all their princes:
12 Kinunada, “Tagikuaentayo dagiti pagpaspastoran ti Dios.”
Who said—Let us take a possession for ourselves, The pastures of God!
13 Diosko, pagbalinem ida a kas iti maiyal-alipugpog a tapok, a kasla taep a maiyangin,
O my God, make them, As whirling [dust], As chaff before a wind;
14 kas iti apuy a mangpuor iti kabakiran, ken kas iti gil-ayab a mangpasged iti kabanbantayan.
As a fire burneth a forest, —And as a flame setteth mountains ablaze,
15 Kamatem ida babaen iti napigsa nga anginmo, ken butbutngem ida babaen iti alipugpogmo.
So, wilt thou pursue them with thy tempest, —And, with thy storm-wind, wilt terrify them:
16 Punoem ida iti bain tapno birukenda ti naganmo, O Yahweh.
Fill thou their faces with dishonour, That men may seek thy Name, O Yahweh;
17 Mapabainanda koma ken mapabutnganda koma iti agnanayon; maibabainda koma agingga a mapukawda.
Let them turn pale, and be terrified to futurity, Yea let them blush, and perish:
18 Ket maammoandanto a siksika laeng, O Yahweh, ti Kangangatoan iti entero a daga.
That men may know that, thou, Whose Name alone is Yahweh, Art Most High over all the earth.
