< Dagiti Salmo 64 >

1 O Dios, denggem ti timekko, denggem daytoy ararawko; annadam daytoy biagko iti panagbutengko kadagiti kabusorko.
To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. Hear, O God, my voice when I complain, From dread peril by the foe, wilt thou guard my life.
2 Ilimmengnak iti nalimed a panagplano dagiti managdakdakes, manipud iti ringgor dagiti managbasol.
Wilt thou hide me, From the conclave of evil-doers, From the crowd of workers of iniquity.
3 Pinatademda dagiti dilada a kasla kampilan; dagiti napapait a sasaoda, kasla pana nga imbiatda
Who have sharpened, like a sword, their tongue, Have made ready their arrow—a bitter word;
4 tapno mapanada ti awan basbasolna manipud iti nalimed a lugar; kellaat a panaenda isuna ket awan pagbutnganda.
To shoot, in secret places, at the blameless one, Suddenly they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 Allukoyenda dagiti babbagida iti dakes a panggep; agtutulagda iti nalimed tapno mangisagana kadagiti palab-og; kunada, “Siasino ngay ti makakita kadatayo?”
They strengthen for them a wicked word, They talk of hiding snares, They have said, Who can see them?
6 Agaramidda kadagiti dakes a panggep; “Nalpastayon,” kunada, “ti naannad a plano.” Nauneg ti kaunggan a panunot ken puso ti tao.
They devise perverse things, They have completed the device well devised, Both the intent of each one, and the mind, are unsearchable.
7 Ngem panaen ida ti Dios; ket kellaat a masugatanda babaen kadagiti panana.
Once let God have shot at them an arrow, Suddenly have appeared their own wounds!
8 Maitibkoldanto, agsipud ta maibusor kadakuada dagiti dilada; agwingiwingto amin dagiti makakita kadakuada.
When they were to have ruined another, their tongue smote themselves, All who observe them take flight.
9 Agbutengto dagiti amin a tattao ket ipadamagdanto dagiti inaramid ti Dios. Sisisiribdanto a mangpanunot iti inaramidna.
Therefore have all men feared, —And have told the doing of God, And, his work, have considered.
10 Agragsakto dagiti nalinteg gapu iti inaramid ni Yahweh ken agkamangdanto kenkuana; amin dagiti naimbag, ipannakkeldanto isuna.
The righteous man shall rejoice in Yahweh, and seek refuge in him, Then shall glory—all who are upright in heart.
