< Abụ Ọma 32 >
1 Abụ Ọma Devid. Abụ Maskil. Onye a gọziri agọzi ka mmadụ ahụ bụ, onye a gbaghaara ajọ omume ya niile, onye e kpuchikwaara mmehie ya niile.
Those whom God has forgiven for rebelling against him, whose stains [MET] of sin have been wiped away, are truly blessed [by God]!
2 Ngọzị na-adịrị nwoke ahụ, onye Onyenwe anyị na-adịghị agụnyere mmehie ya, onye ahụ nke aghụghọ ọbụla na-adịghịkwa nʼime mmụọ ya.
Those whose record of their sins Yahweh has erased, those who no longer do deceitful things, are [truly] blessed [by God]!
3 Mgbe m gbachiri nkịtị, ọkpụkpụ m rere ure site nʼịsụ ude m ogologo ụbọchị niile.
When I did not confess my sins, (my body/I) was very weak and sick, and I groaned (all day long/continually).
4 Ehihie niile na abalị niile, ị tara m ahụhụ, ume dị m nʼobi gwụchara, dịka mgbe okpomọkụ nke ọkọchị. (Sela)
Day and night, [Yahweh], you [SYN] punished me severely. My strength drained away like [water that] ([evaporates/dries up]) on a hot summer [day].
5 Mgbe ahụ, ekwupụtara m mmehie m niile nʼihu gị, kwụsịkwa izo ha ezo. Agwara m onwe m okwu sị, “Aga m ekwupụta mmehie m niile nʼihu Onyenwe anyị.” Ị gbaghakwaara m ikpe ọmụma nke mmehie m niile. (Sela)
[Then/Finally] I admitted/confessed my sins to you; I stopped trying to hide them. (Think about that!) I said [to myself], “I will confess to Yahweh the wrong things that I have done.” And [when I confessed them], you forgave me, so now I (am no longer guilty/will no longer be punished) for my sins.
6 Ya mere, ka ndị niile bụ ndị ezi omume kpọkuo gị nʼekpere mgbe e nwere ike ịchọta gị; nʼụzọ dị otu a, ọ bụrụ na uju mmiri abịa, ọ gaghị erute ha.
Therefore, the people who are godly should pray to you [when they] (realize that they have sinned/have difficulties). If they pray to you, [difficulties] [MET] will not overwhelm them [like] a great flood.
7 Gị onwe gị bụụrụ m ebe nzuzo; Ị ga-echebekwa m ka nsogbu ọbụla hapụ irute m nso. Ọ bụkwa abụ nzọpụta ka i ji gbaa m gburugburu. (Sela)
You are [like] a place where I can hide [from my enemies] [MET], you protect me from troubles, and you (enable me/[put people around me who will enable me]) to shout, praising you for saving me [from my enemies].
8 Aga m eme ka ị nwee uche, zikwa gị ụzọ i kwesiri ịgbaso; Aga m adụ gị ọdụ, anya m ga-adịkwasịkwa nʼahụ gị.
[Yahweh says], “I will teach you about how you should conduct your life. I will instruct you and watch over you.
9 Adịkwala ka ịnyịnya maọbụ ịnyịnya ibu nke na-enweghị akọnuche, nke a na-aghaghị iji mkpụmkpụ igwe na eriri kechie ọnụ ya, ijide ya, ma emeghị otu a, ọ gaghị abịakwute gị.
Do not be stupid like horses and mules that do not have understanding; they need (bits/pieces of metal put in their mouths) and (bridles/ropes fastened to their head) so they will go in the direction you want them to go.”
10 Ọtụtụ ihe mgbu na-abịakwasị ndị na-eme ihe ọjọọ, ma ịhụnanya Onyenwe anyị nke na-enweghị ọgwụgwụ, na-agba onye ahụ tụkwasịrị ya obi gburugburu.
Wicked people will have many [troubles that will make them] sad, but those who trust in Yahweh will experience him faithfully loving them all the time.
11 Ṅụrianụ ọṅụ nʼime Onyenwe anyị, nweekwanụ obi ụtọ, unu ndị ezi omume; bụọ abụ, unu ndị obi ha ziri ezi.
[So, all] you righteous people, rejoice about what Yahweh [has done for you]; you whose (inner beings/lives) are pure, be glad and shout joyfully!
