If there be therfore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of loue, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any compassion and mercie,
2 meenụ ka ọṅụ m zuo oke, site nʼinwe nkwekọta nʼihe ọbụla, site nʼịhụrịta onwe unu nʼanya, sitekwa nʼinwekọ otu mmụọ, na otu uche.
Fulfill my ioye, that ye be like minded, hauing the same loue, being of one accorde, and of one iudgement,
That nothing be done through contention or vaine glory, but that in meekenesse of minde euery man esteeme other better then himselfe.
4 Echela echiche banyere naanị ihe metụtara gị, kama, na-eleba anya nʼihe banyere ndị ọzọ.
Looke not euery man on his owne things, but euery man also on the things of other men.
5 Na mmekọrịta unu na ibe unu, nweenụ ụdị uche ahụ nke dị nʼime Jisọs Kraịst:
Let the same minde be in you that was euen in Christ Iesus,
6 Onye ọ bụ ezie na o nwere ụdịdị Chineke site na mmalite ma ọ gụghị ụdịdị ya dị ka Chineke dị ka ihe ọ ga-ejidesi aka ike.
Who being in ye forme of God, thought it no robberie to be equall with God:
7 Kama, ọ gụrụ onwe ya dị ka ihe efu, site na ịnara ụdịdị nke onye bụ ohu, onye nke a mụrụ dị ka mmadụ.
But he made himself of no reputation, and tooke on him ye forme of a seruant, and was made like vnto men, and was founde in shape as a man.
8 Ebe ahụrụ ya ka ọ dịka mmadụ nʼoyiyi, o wedakwara onwe ya ala, site nʼirube isi ruo ọnwụ, bụ ọnwụ nke obe.
He humbled himselfe, and became obedient vnto the death, euen the death of the Crosse.
9 Ọ bụ nʼihi nke a ka Chineke ji bulie ya elu nʼebe kachasị elu, nyekwa ya aha kachasị aha niile elu.
Wherefore God hath also highly exalted him, and giuen him a Name aboue euery name,
10 Ka ọ ga-abụ mgbe ọbụla a kpọrọ aha Jisọs ka ikpere niile ọbụla gbuo nʼala, ihe niile dị nʼeluigwe, ndị niile bi nʼụwa, na ndị bi nʼokpuru ụwa.
That at the Name of Iesus shoulde euery knee bowe, both of things in heauen, and things in earth, and things vnder the earth,
11 Ka ire niile ọbụla kwupụta na Jisọs Kraịst bụ Onyenwe anyị, maka inye Chineke bụ Nna, otuto.
And that euery tongue shoulde confesse that Iesus Christ is the Lord, vnto the glory of God the Father.
12 Ya mere, ezi ndị enyi m, dị ka unu na-erube isi mgbe niile, ọ bụghị naanị mgbe m nọ, ma karịsịa ugbu a m na-anọghị unu nso, gaanụ nʼihu ịrụpụta nzọpụta unu site nʼịtụ egwu na ịma jijiji.
Wherefore my beloued, as ye haue alwayes obeyed me, not as in my presence only, but now much more in mine absence, so make an end of your owne saluation with feare and trembling.
13 Nʼihi na ọ bụ Chineke nʼonwe ya na-arụ ọrụ nʼime unu, inyere unu aka ịchọ ime ihe ọ chọrọ ka unu mee, na inyere unu aka ime ihe ahụ ọ chọrọ.
For it is God which worketh in you, both the will and the deede, euen of his good pleasure.
14 Nʼihe ọbụla unu na-eme, wezuganụ ntamu na ịrụ ụka nʼetiti unu.
Do all things without murmuring and reasonings,
15 Bienụ ndụ unu dị ka ụmụ Chineke, ndị a na-apụghị ịta ụta, ndị dị ọcha na ndị a na-apụghị ibo ebubo nʼime ụwa ọjọọ a, nʼetiti ọgbọ gbagọrọ agbagọ, na nʼetiti ndị nwere obi nʼazụ. Mgbe ahụ, unu ga-enwupụta nʼetiti ha dị ka kpakpando nʼime ụwa!
That ye may be blamelesse, and pure, and the sonnes of God without rebuke in the middes of a naughtie and crooked nation, among whom yee shine as lights in the world,
16 Na-echekwanụ nʼihu ha okwu ahụ na-enye ndụ. Ka ọ bụrụ na mgbe Kraịst bịara ọzọ, aga m aṅụrị ọṅụ, nʼihi na ọrụ m rụrụ nʼetiti unu abụghị ihe efu.
Holding forth the worde of life, that I may reioyce in the day of Christ, that I haue not runne in vaine, neither haue laboured in vaine.
17 Nʼezie, ọ bụrụ na-awụpụ m dị ka aja ihe ọṅụṅụ nʼelu aja nʼife ofufe nke sitere na Chineke nʼihi okwukwe unu. E, a si na e gbuo m nʼihi unu, aga m aṅụrị ọṅụ na-esorokwa unu niile nwe obi ụtọ
Yea, and though I bee offered vp vpon the sacrifice, and seruice of your faith, I am glad, and reioyce with you all.
18 otu aka ahụ, unu onwe unu kwesiri inwe obi ụtọ ma sorokwa m ṅụrịa ọṅụ.
For the same cause also be ye glad, and reioyce with me.
19 Enwere m olileanya nʼime Onyenwe anyị Jisọs na m ga-ezitere unu Timoti nʼoge na-adịghị anya site ugbu a, ka m site nʼozi ọ ga-anata banyere unu nwee obi ụtọ.
And I trust in the Lord Iesus, to sende Timotheus shortly vnto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I knowe your state.
20 Enweghị m onye ọzọ dị ka ya, onye ga-eche ezi echiche maka ọdịmma unu.
For I haue no man like minded, who will faithfully care for your matters.
For all seeke their owne, and not that which is Iesus Christes.
But yee knowe the proofe of him, that as a sonne with the father, hee hath serued with me in the Gospel.
23 Enwere m olileanya nʼezie izitere unu ya. M ga-emekwa nke a ma ọ bụrụ na m chọpụta ihe ọnọdụ m nʼebe a ga-abụ.
Him therefore I hope to send assoone as I knowe howe it will goe with me,
24 Nʼezie, enwere m olileanya na site nʼinyeaka Onyenwe anyị, mụ onwe m ga-abịakwutekwa unu na mgbe na-adịghị anya.
And trust in the Lord, that I also my selfe shall come shortly.
25 Otu ọ dị, echere m na ọ dị mkpa ugbu a izighachiri unu Epafroditọs, nwanna m na onye mụ na ya na-arụkọ ọrụ, onye mụ na ya na-ebukọ agha, onyeozi nke unu zitere ka ọ bịa nyere m aka nʼọnọdụ mkpa m.
But I supposed it necessarie to sende my brother Epaphroditus vnto you, my companion in labour, and fellowe souldier, euen your messenger, and he that ministred vnto me such things as I wanted.
For he longed after all you, and was full of heauinesse, because yee had heard that hee had beene sicke.
27 Nʼezie, ọ fọdụrụ nnọọ ntakịrị ka o site nʼọrịa ahụ daa nʼụra ọnwụ. Ma Chineke meere ya ebere. Ọ bụghị naanị ya, kama o mekwaara m ebere, nʼihi na o kweghị ka a tụkwasịrị m ihe mwute nʼelu ihe mwute.
And no doubt he was sicke, very neere vnto death: but God had mercie on him, and not on him onely, but on me also, least I should haue sorowe vpon sorowe.
28 Nʼihi nke a, ọ na-anụ m ọkụ nʼobi izite ya nʼebe unu nọ.
I sent him therefore the more diligently, that when yee shoulde see him againe, yee might reioyce, and I might be the lesse sorowfull.
29 Ya mere, arịọ m unu, werenụ ọṅụ nabata ya nke ọma nʼime Onyenwe anyị, na-asọpụkwaranụ ndị dị ka ya.
Receiue him therefore in the Lord with all gladnesse, and make much of such:
30 Nʼihi na ọ fọdụrụ nwantịị ka o nwụọ, nʼihi ọrụ nke Kraịst, tinye ndụ ya nʼihe egwu iji mezuo ọrụ unu nʼebe m nọ.
Because that for the woorke of Christ he was neere vnto death, and regarded not his life, to fulfill that seruice which was lacking on your part towarde me.
