1 “Bụọ abụ, gị nwanyị aga, gị onye na-amụtaghị nwa; tie mkpu ọṅụ, tiwakwaa olu abụ, gị onye ime nwa na-emetụbeghị; nʼihi na ụmụ nwanyị ahụ a hapụrụ naanị ya ga-adị ọtụtụ karịa ụmụ nke nwanyị nwere di,” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru.
Give praise, O thou barren, that bearest not: sing forth praise, and make a joyful noise, thou that didst not travail with child: for many are the children of the desolate, more than of her that hath a husband, saith the Lord.
2 “Mee ka ebe ụlọ ikwu gị saa mbara, gbasapụ akwa mgbochi ụlọ ikwu gị, egbochila gbasapụ aka; mee ka ụdọ gị dị ogologo, meekwa ka o sie ike nke ọma.
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and stretch out the skins of thy tabernacles, spare not: lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.
3 Nʼihi na nʼaka nri na nʼaka ekpe ka ị ga-agbasa gaa; ụmụ gị ga-achụpụ mba dị iche iche site nʼala ha, bichikwaa nʼobodo ha niile dakpọsịrị adakpọsị, nke tọgbọrọ nʼefu.
For thou shalt pass on to the right hand, and to the left: and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and shall inhabit the desolate cities.
4 “Atụla egwu, nʼihi na ihere agaghị emekwa gị ọzọ. Ị gaghị abụkwa onye e wedara nʼala. Ị gakwaghị echeta ihere mere gị mgbe ị bụ nwantakịrị, na ịta ụta dịrị gị nʼihi ọnwụ di gị.
Fear not, for thou shalt not be confounded, nor blush: for thou shalt not be put to shame, because thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt remember no more the reproach of thy widowhood.
5 Nʼihi na onye kere gị ga-abụrụ gị di. Aha ya bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile; Onye nsọ Izrel bụ Onye mgbapụta gị, Chineke nke ụwa niile ka a na-akpọ ya.
For he that made thee shall rule over thee, the Lord of hosts is his name: and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, shall be called the God of all the earth.
6 Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ga-akpọghachi gị dịka a ga-asị na ị bụ nwunye a hapụrụ ahapụ, nke ọ na-ewutakwa nʼime mmụọ ya bụ nwunye alụtara na nwantakịrị, naanị ka ọ bụrụ onye ajụrụ ajụ,” ka Chineke gị na-ekwu.
For the Lord hath called thee as woman forsaken and mourning in spirit, and as a wife cast off from her youth, said thy God.
7 “Naanị nwa mgbe nta ka m hapụrụ gị. Ma aga m eji obi ebere ukwuu kpọghachikwa gị
For a, small moment have I forsaken thee, but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8 Na nwa oge, esitere m nʼoke iwe na-ewe m zonarị gị ihu m, ma site nʼịhụnanya m nke na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi, aga m enwe ọmịiko nʼahụ gị.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị, onye mgbapụta gị kwuru.
In a moment of indignation have I hid my face a little while from thee, but with everlasting kindness have I had mercy on thee, said the Lord thy Redeemer.
9 “Dịka m si ṅụọ iyi nʼoge Noa sị na m agaghị ekwekwa ka mmiri kpuchie ụwa ọzọ, bibie ndụ ndị dị nʼime ya, ana m aṅụkwa iyi ugbu a na mụ agaghị ekwe ka iwe m bịakwasị gị ọzọ. Agakwaghị m abasiri gị mba ike.
This thing is to me as in the days of Noe, to whom I swore, that I would no more bring in the waters of Noe upon the earth: so have I sworn not to be angry with thee, and not to rebuke thee.
10 Nʼihi na a pụrụ iwezuga ugwu ukwu niile, wezugakwa ugwu nta niile site nʼọnọdụ ha, ma obi ebere m agaghị esi nʼebe ị nọ pụọ, agaghị ewezugakwa ọgbụgba ndụ nke udo m,” ka Onyenwe anyị, onye nwere ọmịiko nʼahụ gị, kwuru.
For the mountains shall be moved, and the hills shall tremble; but my mercy shall not depart from thee, and the covenant of my peace shall not be moved: said the Lord that hath mercy on thee.
11 “Gị, onye a na-emekpa ahụ, onye oke ikuku ụwa a na-ebugharị, nke onye ọbụla na-adịghị akasị obi, lee, aga m e ji nkume tọkwọisi wugharịa gị, jirikwa nkume ọma safaia dị oke ọnụahịa tọọ ntọala gị niile.
O poor little one, tossed with tempest, without all comfort, behold I will lay thy stones in order, and will lay thy foundations with sapphires,
12 Aga m eji nkume rubi wugharịa akụkụ ụlọ gị niile, jiri nkume na-egbu nweghenweghe wuo ọnụ ụzọ ama gị niile. Aga m ejikwa nkume dị oke ọnụahịa wuo mgbidi obodo gị.
And I will make thy bulwarks of jasper: and thy gates of graven stones, and all thy borders of desirable stones.
13 Ụmụ gị niile ga-abụ ndị Onyenwe anyị ga-akụziri ihe. Udo ha ga-adịkwa ukwu.
All thy children shall be taught of the Lord: and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14 Nʼezi omume ka a ga-eme ka ị guzosie ike. Mmegbu ga-adịkwa anya site nʼebe ị nọ, nʼihi ya, ị gaghị atụ egwu ihe ọjọọ ọbụla. Ọ dịghị ihe egwu ga-abịaru gị nso, nʼihi na a ga-ewezuga ha site nʼebe ị nọ.
And thou shalt be founded in justice: depart far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near thee.
15 Ọ bụrụ na onye ọbụla abịa ịlụso gị ọgụ, ọ siteghị nʼaka m; onye ọbụla nke na-alụso gị ọgụ ga-abụ onye e meriri emeri.
Behold, an inhabitant shall come, who was not with me, he that was a stranger to thee before, shall be joined to thee.
16 “Lee, ọ bụ mụ onwe m kere ọkpụ ụzụ nke na-eji icheku afụ ọkụ o ji akpụ ihe agha nke mbibi. Ọ bụkwa m kere ndị agha ahụ mbibi bụ ọrụ ha.
Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and bringeth forth an instrument for his work, and I have created the killer to destroy.
17 Nʼụbọchị ahụ, ọ dịghị ihe agha a kpụrụ megide gị nke ga-adị ire. Ọzọ, ị ga-emeri ndị niile kpọrọ gị ikpe mmegide. Nʼihi na nke a bụ ihe nketa dịrị ndị ohu Onyenwe anyị. Mkpepụta ha na-esite na m.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri ya.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper: and every tongue that resisteth thee in judgment, thou shalt condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord, and their justice with me, saith the Lord.
