1 Waƙar haurawa. Ya Ubangiji, ka tuna da Dawuda da kuma dukan irin wuyan da ya jimre.
Jehovah, remember for David all his affliction,
2 Ya yi rantsuwa ga Ubangiji ya kuma yi alkawari ga Maɗaukaki na Yaƙub cewa,
how he swore to Jehovah, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 “Ba zan shiga gidana ko in kwanta a gado ba,
Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed,
4 ba zan ba wa idanuna barci ba, ba gyangyaɗi wa idanuna,
I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids,
5 sai na sami wuri wa Ubangiji, mazauni domin Maɗaukaki na Yaƙub.”
until I find out a place for Jehovah, a tabernacle for the Mighty One of Jacob.
6 Mun ji haka a Efrata, muka yi ƙaro da shi a filayen Ya’ar,
Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah. We found it in the field of the wood.
7 “Bari mu tafi wurin zamansa; bari mu yi sujada a wurin sa ƙafafunsa,
We will go into his tabernacles. We will worship at his footstool.
8 ka tashi, ya Ubangiji, ka kuma zo wurin hutunka, kai da akwatin alkawarin ƙarfinka.
Arise, O Jehovah, into thy resting-place, thou, and the ark of thy strength.
9 Bari a suturta firistocinka da adalci; bari tsarkakanka su rera don farin ciki.”
Let thy priest be clothed with righteousness, and let thy sanctified shout for joy.
10 Saboda Dawuda bawanka, kada ka ƙi shafaffenka.
For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 Ubangiji ya rantse wa Dawuda tabbataccen rantsuwa cewa ba zai janye ba cewa, “Ɗaya daga cikin zuriyarka zan sa a kan kursiyinka,
Jehovah has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: From the fruit of thy body I will set upon thy throne.
12 in’ya’yanka maza za su kiyaye alkawari da farillan da na koya musu, to’ya’yansu maza za su zauna a kan kursiyinka har abada abadin.”
If thy sons will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their sons also shall sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 Gama Ubangiji ya zaɓi Sihiyona, ya so ta zama mazauninsa,
For Jehovah has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.
14 “Wannan shi ne wurin hutuna har abada abadin; a nan zan zauna ina mulki gama ina son ta,
This is my resting place forever. Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.
15 zan albarkace ta da tanade-tanade masu yawa; matalautanta za su ƙoshi da abinci.
I will abundantly bless her provision. I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 Zan suturta firistocinta da ceto, tsarkakanta kuma kullum za su rera don farin ciki.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation, and her sanctified shall shout aloud for joy.
17 “A nan zan sa ƙaho ya yi girma wa Dawuda in kuma kafa fitila saboda shafaffena.
There I will make the horn of David to bud. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
18 Zan suturta abokan gābansa da kunya, amma rawanin da yake a kansa zai yi ta walƙiya.”
I will clothe his enemies with shame, but upon himself his crown shall flourish.
