Filemon 1
1 Bulus, ɗan kurkuku saboda Kiristi Yesu, da kuma Timoti ɗan’uwanmu, Zuwa ga Filemon ƙaunataccen abokinmu da kuma abokin aikinmu,
These things speak thou, and exhort, and inculcate, with all authority; and let no one despise thee.
2 zuwa kuma ga Affiya’yar’uwarmu, zuwa kuma ga Arkiffus abokin famarmu, da zuwa kuma ga ikkilisiyar da take taruwa a gidanka.
and to our beloved Apphia, and to Archippus a laborer with us, and to the church in thy house.
3 Alheri da salama daga Allah Ubanmu da kuma Ubangiji Yesu Kiristi, su kasance tare da ku.
Grace be with you, and peace from God our father, and from our Lord Jesus the Messiah.
4 Kullum nakan gode wa Allahna sa’ad da nake tuna da kai cikin addu’o’ina,
I thank my God always, and remember thee in my prayers,
5 domin ina jin labari bangaskiyarka cikin Ubangiji Yesu da kuma ƙaunarka da kake yi saboda dukan tsarkaka.
lo, from the time that I heard of thy faith, and of the love thou hast towards our Lord Jesus, and towards all the saints;
6 Ina addu’a ka zama mai ƙwazo cikin shaida bangaskiyarka, domin ka sami cikakken fahimta ta kowane abin da yake nagarin da muke da shi cikin Kiristi.
that there may be a fellowship of thy faith, yielding fruits in works, and in the knowledge of all the good things ye possess in Jesus the Messiah.
7 Ƙaunarka ta sa ni farin ciki ƙwarai ta kuma ƙarfafa ni, domin kai, ɗan’uwa, ka wartsake zukatan tsarkaka.
For we have great joy and consolation, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thy love.
8 Saboda haka, ko da yake cikin Kiristi ina iya yin ƙarfin hali in umarce ka ka yi abin da ya kamata,
Therefore I might have great freedom In the Messiah, to enjoin upon thee the things that are right.
9 duk da haka ina roƙonka saboda ƙauna, na fi so in roƙe ka, ni Bulus tsoho, a yanzu kuma ga ni ɗan sarƙa saboda Kiristi Yesu.
But for love's sake, I earnestly beseech thee even I, Paul, who am aged, as thou knowest, and now also a prisoner for Jesus the Messiah.
10 Ina roƙonka saboda ɗana Onesimus, wanda ya zama ɗana yayinda nake cikin sarƙoƙi.
I beseech thee for my son, whom I had begotten in my bonds for Onesimus;
11 Dā kam, ba shi da amfani a gare ka, amma yanzu ya zama da amfani a gare ka da kuma gare ni.
from whom formerly thou hadst no profit, but now very profitable will he be both to thee and to me; and whom I have sent to thee.
12 Ina aike shi yă koma gare ka, shi da yake zuciyata.
And receive thou him, as one begotten by me.
13 Na so in riƙe shi a wurina a madadinka domin yă taimake ni yayinda nake cikin sarƙoƙi saboda bishara.
For I was desirous to retain him with me, that he might minister to me in thy stead, in these bonds for the gospel.
14 Sai dai ban so in yi kome ban da yardarka ba, domin kowane alherin da za ka yi, yă fito daga zuciyarka, ba na tilas ba.
But I would do nothing without consulting thee; lest thy benefit should be as if by compulsion, and not with thy pleasure.
15 Wataƙila abin da ya sa aka raba ka da shi na ɗan lokaci ƙanƙani shi ne don ka same shi da amfani (aiōnios g166)
And, perhaps, also, he therefore departed from thee for a season, that thou mightest retain him for ever; (aiōnios g166)
16 ba kamar bawa kuma ba, sai dai fiye da bawa, a matsayin ƙaunataccen ɗan’uwa. Shi ƙaunatacce ne sosai a gare ni amma a gare ka ya ma fi zama ƙaunatacce, kamar mutum da kuma kamar ɗan’uwa a cikin Ubangiji.
henceforth, not as a servant, but more than a servant, a brother dear to me, and much more to thee, both in the flesh and in our Lord?
17 Saboda haka in ka ɗauke ni a kan ni abokin tarayya ne, sai ka marabce shi kamar yadda za ka marabce ni.
If therefore thou art in fellowship with me, receive him as one of mine.
18 In ya yi maka wani laifi ko kuma yana riƙe maka wani bashi, sai ka mai da shi a kaina.
And if he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee aught, place it to my account.
19 Ni, Bulus, nake rubuta wannan da hannuna. Zan biya ka, kada ma a yi zancen ranka da kake riƙe mini bashi.
I, Paul, have written it with my own hand, I will repay: not to say to thee, that to me thou owest thy ownself.
20 Ina fata, ɗan’uwa, zan sami amfani daga gare ka cikin Ubangiji; ka wartsake zuciyata cikin Kiristi.
Yes, my brother, let me be refreshed by thee in our Lord: refresh thou my bowels in the Messiah.
21 Da tabbacin biyayyarka, ina rubuta maka, da sanin za ka yi fiye da abin da na ce.
Being confident that thou wilt hearken to me, I have written to thee: and I know that thou wilt do more than I say.
22 Abu guda ya rage, ka shirya mini masauƙi, domin ina bege za a mayar da ni gare ku albarkacin addu’o’inku.
And herewith, prepare also a house for me to lodge in; for I hope that, by your prayers, I shall be given to you.
23 Efafaras, abokin tarayyata a kurkuku cikin Kiristi Yesu, yana gaishe ka.
Epaphras, a fellow-captive with me in Jesus the Messiah, saluteth thee;
24 Haka kuma Markus, Aristarkus, Demas da kuma Luka, abokan aikina.
and Mark, and Aristarchus, and Demas, and Luke, my coadjutors.
25 Alherin Ubangiji Yesu Kiristi yă kasance da ruhunku.
The grace of our Lord Jesus the Messiah be with your spirit, my brethren. Amen.
