2 Tessalonikawa 2
1 Game da dawowar Ubangijinmu Yesu Kiristi da game da tattara mu gare shi, muna roƙonku,’yan’uwa,
But we ask you, brothers, concerning the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ and of our gathering to him,
2 kada ku yi saurin jijjiguwa ko kuwa hankalinku yă tashi ta wurin wani annabci, rahoto ko wasiƙar da an ce daga wurinmu ne, cewa ranar Ubangiji ta riga ta zo.
that you not be readily disturbed or terrified in your minds, by any spirit, or word, or epistle, supposedly sent from us, claiming that the day of the Lord is close by.
3 Kada ku bar wani yă ruɗe ku ko ta yaya, gama wannan rana ba za tă zo ba sai an yi tawayen nan an kuma bayyana mutumin tawayen nan, mutumin da aka ƙaddara ga hallaka.
Let no one deceive you in any way. For this cannot be, unless the apostasy will have arrived first, and the man of sin will have been revealed, the son of perdition,
4 Zai yi gāba yă kuma ɗaukaka kansa a bisa kome da ya shafe sunan Allah, ko kuma ake yi wa sujada, domin yă kafa kansa a haikalin Allah, yana shelar kansa a kan shi Allah ne.
who is an adversary to, and who is lifted up above, all that is called God or that is worshipped, so much so that he sits in the temple of God, presenting himself as if he were God.
5 Ba ku tuna ba cewa sa’ad da nake tare da ku nakan gaya muku waɗannan abubuwa?
Do you not recall that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?
6 Yanzu kuwa kun san abin da yake hana shi, wannan yana faruwa ne don a bayyana shi a daidai lokaci.
And now you know what it is that holds him back, so that he may be revealed in his own time.
7 Gama ikon asirin tawaye ya riga ya fara aiki; sai dai wannan da yake hana shi zai ci gaba da yin haka sai an kau da shi.
For the mystery of iniquity is already at work. And only one now holds back, and will continue to hold back, until he is taken from our midst.
8 Sa’an nan za a bayyana mai tawayen, Ubangiji Yesu kuwa zai hamɓare shi da numfashin bakinsa yă kuma hallaka shi da darajar dawowarsa.
And then that iniquitous one shall be revealed, the one whom the Lord Jesus shall bring to ruin with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy at the brightness of his return:
9 Zuwan mai tawayen nan zai zama ta wurin aikin Shaiɗan da aka bayyana cikin kowane irin ayyukan banmamaki, alamu da abubuwan banmamaki na ƙarya,
him whose advent is accompanied by the works of Satan, with every kind of power and signs and false miracles,
10 da kuma cikin kowace irin muguntar da take ruɗin waɗanda suke hallaka. Sun hallaka ne domin sun ƙi su ƙaunaci gaskiya don su sami ceto.
and with every seduction of iniquity, toward those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth, so that they may be saved.
11 Saboda haka Allah zai aiko musu da babban ruɗu don su gaskata ƙarya
For this reason, God will send to them works of deception, so that they may believe in lies,
12 don kuma a hukunta dukan waɗanda ba su gaskata gaskiyar ba sai dai suke jin daɗin mugunta.
in order that all those who have not believed in the truth, but who have consented to iniquity, may be judged.
13 Amma dole kullum mu gode wa Allah dominku,’yan’uwa waɗanda Ubangiji ya ƙaunace, domin daga farko Allah ya zaɓe ku don a cece ku ta wurin aikin tsarkakewar Ruhu da kuma ta wurin gaskatawa da gaskiya.
Yet we must always give thanks to God for you, brothers, beloved of God, because God has chosen you as first-fruits for salvation, by the sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth.
14 Ya kira ku ga wannan ta wurin bishararmu, don ku sami rabo a cikin ɗaukakar Ubangijinmu Yesu Kiristi.
He has also called you into truth through our Gospel, unto the acquisition of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Saboda haka fa,’yan’uwa, sai ku tsaya daram ku riƙe koyarwar da muka miƙa muku, ko ta wurin maganar baki ko kuma ta wurin wasiƙa.
And so, brothers, stand firm, and hold to the traditions that you have learned, whether by word or by our epistle.
16 Ubangijinmu Yesu Kiristi kansa da kuma Allah Ubanmu, wanda ya ƙaunace mu kuma ta wurin alherinsa yă ba mu madawwamiyar ƙarfafawa da kyakkyawar bege, (aiōnios g166)
So may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us and who has given us an everlasting consolation and good hope in grace, (aiōnios g166)
17 yă ƙarfafa zukatanku yă kuma gina ku cikin kowane aikin nagari da kuma magana.
exhort your hearts and confirm you in every good word and deed.
