1 Pou direktè koral la, avèk mizik bich granmaten an; Yon sòm David. Bondye mwen, Bondye mwen, poukisa Ou te abandone m? Kri a doulè sa a lwen delivrans mwen.

2 O Bondye mwen, mwen kriye pandan lajounen, men Ou pa reponn. E nan lannwit men m pa jwenn repo.

11 Pa rete lwen mwen, paske gwo twoub la toupre. Paske nanpwen moun ki pou ede m.
Be not far from me, for trouble is nigh, and there is none to help.

I am circled by many bulls, beset by the mighty of Bashan,

who face me with gaping jaws, like ravening roaring lions.
14 Mwen vin vide tankou dlo. Tout zo m fin dejwente.
Poured out am I like water, and all my bones are loosened. My heart is become like wax, melted within me.
15 Fòs mwen vin sèch tankou cha kanari. Lang mwen kole akote nan bouch mwen. Ou fè m kouche nan pousyè lanmò a.
My palate is dry as a sherd, my tongue sticks to my jaws; in the dust of death you lay me.
16 Konsa, chen yo vin antoure mwen. Yon bann malfektè vin ansèkle m. Yo te pèse dwat mwen avèk pye m.
For dogs are round about me, a band of knaves encircles me, gnawing my hands and my feet.
17 Mwen kab kontwole tout zo m yo. Yo gade mwen, yo fikse zye yo sou mwen.
I can count my bones, every one. As for them, they feast their eyes on me.
18 Yo divize rad mwen pami yo. Pou vètman m, yo tire osò.
They divide my garments among them, and over my raiment cast lots.
19 Men Ou menm, O SENYÈ, pa rete lwen! Ou menm, sekou mwen, fè vit, vin rive ede m!
But you, O Lord, be not far, O my strength, hasten to help me.
20 Delivre nanm mwen devan nepe a, lavi mwen devan pouvwa a chen an.
Deliver my life from the sword my life from the power of the dogs.
21 Fè m sekou soti nan bouch a lyon an, soti sou kòn a bèf mawon. Wi, Ou menm te reponn mwen.
Save me from the jaws of the lion, from the horns of the wild oxen help me.
22 Mwen va pale non Ou a frè m yo. Nan mitan asanble a, mwen va louwe Ou.
I will tell of your fame to my kindred, and in the assembly will praise you.

Praise the Lord, you who fear him. All Jacob’s seed, give him glory. All Israel’s seed, stand in awe of him.

The afflicted will eat to their heart’s desire, and those who seek after the Lord will praise him. Lift up your hearts forever.
27 Tout ekstremite tè a nèt va sonje. Yo va vire bò kote SENYÈ a. Konsa, tout fanmi nan nasyon yo va adore devan Ou.
All will call it to mind, to the ends of the earth, and turn to the Lord; and all tribes of the nations will bow down before you.
28 Paske wayòm nan se pou SENYÈ a, e pouvwa Li se sou tout nasyon yo.
For the kingdom belongs to the Lord: he is the Lord of the nations.
29 Tout moun byen reyisi sou latè va manje e adore. Tout (sila) ki desann nan pousyè a va bese devan Li, Menm (sila) ki pa kab fè nanm li viv la.
To him will bow down all who sleep in the earth, and before him bend all who go down to the dust, and those who could not preserve their lives.
30 Jenerasyon yo va sèvi Li. Yo va pale de SENYÈ a a desandan yo k ap vini an.
My descendants will tell of the Lord to the next generation;
31 Yo va vini. Yo va deklare ladwati Li a yon pèp ki va vin fèt. Paske Li te reyisi fè tout bagay sa a.
they will declare his righteousness to people yet to be born: He has done it.
