Ezayi 58
1 “Kriye fò, ni pa rete! Leve vwa ou tankou yon twonpèt! Deklare a pèp Mwen transgresyon yo, e a lakay Jacob la, peche yo.
Crye thou, ceesse thou not; as a trumpe enhaunse thi vois, and schewe thou to my puple her grete trespassis, and to the hous of Jacob her synnes.
2 Malgre yo chache Mwen de jou an jou e te fè gwo lanvi pou konnen chemen Mwen yo, konsi se yon nasyon ki fè ladwati, e ki pa t abandone règleman a Bondye yo. Yo mande Mwen pou fè desizyon ki jis. Yo pran plezi nan pwoksimite Bondye a.
For thei seken me fro dai in to dai, and thei wolen knowe my weies; as a folk, that hath do riytfulnesse, and that hath not forsake the doom of her God; thei preien me domes of riytfulnesse, and wolen neiy to God.
3 ‘Poukisa nou fè jèn e Ou pa wè? Èske nou imilye nou e Ou pa wè?’ “Gade byen, nan jou jèn lan, ou satisfè tout dezi nou yo e nou kòmande byen di tout ouvriye nou yo.
Whi fastiden we, and thou biheldist not; we mekiden oure soulis, and thou knewist not? Lo! youre wille is foundun in the dai of youre fastyng, and ye axen alle youre dettouris.
4 Gade byen, nou fè jèn pou konfli ak kont; pou nou frape ak ponyèt mechan an. Kalite jèn nou fè la jodi a pa p fè vwa ou tande anwo a.
Lo! ye fasten to chidyngis and stryuyngis, and smyten with the fist wickidli. Nyl ye fast, as `til to this dai, that youre cry be herd an hiy.
5 Èske se jèn sa a ki fè kè M kontan? Yon jou pou yon nonm ta imilye li menm? Pou bese tèt li kon wozo, e gaye twal sak ak sann kon kabann anba l? Èske se yon jèn ke ou rele sa; menm yon jou k ap akseptab a SENYÈ a?
Whether sich is the fastyng which Y chees, a man to turmente his soule bi dai? whether to bynde his heed as a sercle, and to make redi a sak and aische? Whethir thou schalt clepe this a fastyng, and a dai acceptable to the Lord?
6 “Se pa jèn sila a ke M pito; pou lache lyann mechanste yo, pou demare kòd jouk la, pou lese oprime yo pran libète e kase tout jouk yo?
Whether not this is more the fastyng, which Y chees? Vnbynde thou the byndingis togidere of vnpitee, releesse thou birthuns pressynge doun; delyuere thou hem free, that ben brokun, and breke thou ech birthun.
7 Èske se pa pou divize pen ou ak moun grangou yo, e mennen endijan yo antre nan kay? Lè ou wè toutouni an, pou kouvri l; epi pou ou pa kache tèt ou de pwòp chè ou?
Breke thi breed to an hungri man, and brynge in to thin hous nedi men and herborles; whanne thou seest a nakid man, hile thou hym, and dispise not thi fleisch.
8 Konsa, limyè ou va pete kon granmmaten, e gerizon ou va vòltije vit devan ou. Ladwati ou va ale devan ou, e laglwa SENYÈ a va fè gad ou an aryè.
Thanne thi liyt schal breke out as the morewtid, and thin helthe schal rise ful soone; and thi riytfulnesse schal go bifore thi face, and the glorie of the Lord schal gadere thee.
9 Nan lè sa a, ou va rele, e SENYÈ a va reponn. Ou va kriye e Li va di: ‘Men Mwen isit la’. “Si ou retire jouk la nan mitan nou, sispann pwente dwat sou lòt e sispann pale mechanste;
Thanne thou schalt clepe to help, and the Lord schal here; thou schalt crie, and he schal seie, Lo! Y am present, for Y am merciful, thi Lord God. If thou takist awei a chayne fro the myddis of thee, and ceessist to holde forth the fyngur, and to speke that profitith not;
10 si ou vide nanm ou a sila ki grangou, e satisfè dezi a aflije a; nan lè sa a, limyè ou va leve nan fènwa, e tristès ou va klere kon gran lajounen.
whanne thou schedist out thi soule to an hungri man, and fillist a soule, `that is turmentid, thi liyt schal rise in derknessis, and thi derknessis schulen be as myddai.
11 Epi SENYÈ a va gide ou tout tan, satisfè dezi ou yo kote ki sèch yo, e bay fòs a zo ou yo. Konsa, ou va kon yon jaden byen awoze e tankou yon sous dlo ki p ap janm seche.
And the Lord thi God schal yyue euere reste to thee, and schal fille thi soule with schynyngis, and schal delyuere thi boonys; and thou schalt be as a watri gardyn, and as a welle of watris, whose waters schulen not faile.
12 Sila ki pami ou yo va rebati ansyen mazi yo. Ou va fè releve ansyen fondasyon yo. Konsa yo va rele ou Sila Ki Te Repare Brèch la, Sila Ki Te Restore Lari Yo Ak Kay Yo.
And the forsakun thingis of worldis schulen be bildid in thee, and thou schalt reise the foundementis of generacioun and generacioun; and thou schalt be clepid a bildere of heggis, turnynge awei the pathis of wickidnessis.
13 “Si, nan Saba a, ou vire pye ou, pou sispann fè pwòp plezi pa ou nan jou sen Mwen an, e rele Saba a yon gwo plezi, epi jou sen a SENYÈ onorab, e bay li onè, olye chache chemen pa ou, olye pwòp plezi pa ou, ak pale pwòp pawòl pa w,
If thou turnest awei thi foot fro the sabat, to do thi wille in myn hooli dai, and clepist the sabat delicat, and hooli, the gloriouse of the Lord, and glorifiest him, while thou doist not thi weies, and thi wille is not foundun, that thou speke a word;
14 konsa ou va pran plezi nan SENYÈ a, e Mwen va fè ou monte sou wotè latè yo. Mwen va bay ou manje, e Mwen va ba ou eritaj a Jacob, papa ou a, paske bouch SENYÈ a pale sa a.”
thanne thou schalt delite on the Lord, and Y schal reise thee on the hiynesse of erthe, and Y schal fede thee with the eritage of Jacob, thi fadir; for whi the mouth of the Lord spak.
