Λευϊτικόν 12
1 Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
2 Λάλησον προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ, λέγων, Εάν γυνή τις συλλάβη και γεννήση αρσενικόν, τότε θέλει είσθαι ακάθαρτος επτά ημέρας· κατά τας ημέρας του χωρισμού διά τα γυναικεία αυτής θέλει είσθαι ακάθαρτος.
Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, A woman when she conceiveth seed and giveth birth to a male child, then shall she be unclean seven days, according to the days of her removal in her sickness shall she be unclean.
3 Και την ογδόην ημέραν θέλει περιτέμνεσθαι η σαρξ της ακροβυστίας αυτού.
And, on the eighth day, shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised.
4 Και έτι τριάκοντα τρεις ημέρας θέλει μείνει εις το αίμα του καθαρισμού αυτής· ουδέν πράγμα άγιον θέλει εγγίσει και εις το αγιαστήριον δεν θέλει εισέλθει, εωσού πληρωθώσιν αι ημέραι του καθαρισμού αυτής.
And, for thirty-three days, shall she continue in the blood of purification, —no hallowed thing, shall she touch, and, into the sanctuary, shall she not enter, until her days of purification are fulfilled.
5 Αλλ' εάν γεννήση θηλυκόν, τότε θέλει είσθαι ακάθαρτος δύο εβδομάδας, καθώς εν τω χωρισμώ αυτής· και θέλει μείνει έτι εις το αίμα του καθαρισμού αυτής εξήκοντα εξ ημέρας.
But if, a female child, she bear, then shall she be unclean two weeks as in her removal, —and, for sixty-six days, shall she continue in the blood of purification.
6 Και αφού πληρωθώσιν αι ημέραι του καθαρισμού αυτής, διά υιόν, ή διά θυγατέρα, θέλει φέρει αρνίον ενιαύσιον εις ολοκαύτωμα, και νεοσσόν περιστεράς, ή τρυγόνα, διά προσφοράν περί αμαρτίας, εις την θύραν της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου προς τον ιερέα·
And, when the days of her purification are fulfilled, whether for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring in a lamb, the choice of its year, as an ascending-sacrifice, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove, as a sin-bearer, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest;
7 ούτος δε θέλει προσφέρει αυτό ενώπιον του Κυρίου και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν υπέρ αυτής και θέλει καθαρισθή από της ροής του αίματος αυτής. Ούτος είναι ο νόμος της γεννώσης αρσενικόν ή θηλυκόν.
and he shall bring it near before Yahweh so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over her, and she shall be clean from her fountain of blood. This, is the law for her that hath given birth, to a male child or to a female.
8 Εάν όμως δεν ευπορή να φέρη αρνίον, τότε θέλει φέρει δύο τρυγόνας ή δύο νεοσσούς περιστερών, μίαν διά ολοκαύτωμα και μίαν διά προσφοράν περί αμαρτίας· και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν υπέρ αυτής ο ιερεύς, και θέλει καθαρισθή.
But, if her hand findeth not sufficiency for a lamb, then shall she take two turtle doves or two young pigeons, one for an ascending-sacrifice and one for a sin-bearer, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over her, and she shall be clean.
