PETROS, an apostle of Jeshu Meshiha, to the chosen-ones and sojourners who are scattered in Pontos and in Galatia, and in Kapadukia, and in Asia, and in Bithunia:
2 U Tienu, ti Báa lugdi yi na wani o bá ń bo tuodi ki jagi maama, ke o Foŋanma paadi ki seni yi, ke yin ya cɔlni Jesu Kirisiti, ke o sɔma ń cedi yin tua yaaba n dagdi U Tienu nunga nni. N miadi ke U Tieni ń waani yi o buama, ki puni yi mi yanduanma.
them who are elected by the foreknowledge of Aloha the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, that they might be unto obedience, and unto the sprinkling of the blood of Jeshu Meshiha: grace and peace be multiplied with you.
3 Dondi mani U Tienu, wani yua n tie ti Diedo Jesu Kirisiti Báa! Wan bua ti ya po i, ke o cedi ke ti go dá pia li miali. Kelima, o cedi ke Jesu Kirisiti gɔa ki yiedi mi kuum puoli, ti bani ke o ba tieni ti po nani wan niani maama
Blessed be Aloha, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, who by his abundant grace hath begotten us anew through the resurrection of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha unto the hope of salvation,
4 O cedi ke ti ba fidi ki daani ya bona ke begni ti po ŋaljanli nni, ya bona n ba waagi li bina leni libina.
and to the inheritance which is not corruptible, and not defiled, and not to be consumed, which is prepared for you in heaven,
5 U Tienu guu ŋa leni o paaciamu kelima a dugi Jesu po. O guu ŋa nani lan buali maama, Tin ye ya yenyienu ne juodma, o ba fie a Setaani paalu nui nni.
while you are kept by the power of Aloha and through faith, unto the salvation which is prepared to be revealed in the last times;
6 A pali mani kelima yaala n ba ti cua po ama mɔlane i biidi i pala waamu, kelima ya bigna nmabndi waau waamu. U Tienu tuo ki cabi ke ban ya bigndi yi na ban bigndi wula ki bua bandi li ya li ya pia mayuli, kaa pia jɔgndi. ya bigna ke a laadi ne ŋani a po.
wherein you will rejoice for ever, though in this little time you are afflicted by manifold temptations which pass over you;
7 li bigna tie ke lan waani ke a dugi Jesu po. Li mɔni boncianla U Tienu po ki cie ki tinga nni wula kuli, yaali ke u mu ba fidi ki biidi. Kelima a dugi Jesu po, U Tienu ba kpiagi
that the proof of your faith may be seen, which is more precious than gold refined which is proved in fire, unto praise and unto honour and unto glory, at the revelation of Jeshu Meshiha;
8 I bau Jesu bá leni yin ki la o. Bá leni yin ki nua o mɔlane, i pala mani boncianla;
whom you have not seen and (yet) love, and in whose faith you exult with glorious joy that is not spoken:
9 kelima i dugi o po, U Tienu faabi yi i tuobiadi po.
that you may receive the recompence of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 Bi sawalpuaba bo cili hali ke li fagi ki maadi ya tondu ke U Tienu waani ba wan ba tini maama ki faabi yi dayenli. Bi kpaagi boncianla li bona po.
That salvation which the prophets investigated when they prophesied concerning the grace which was to be given unto you,
11 Bi den bua ban bandi Kiristu yantiali yaali n ye bi niinni ne maad ŋma ya maama i. Bi go den bua ban bandi lan ba tieni ya yogu. Bi tieni yeni kelima li yantiali yeni den tuodi ki waani ba, ke Kirisiti ba la fala, ki kpe, ke o kuuma puoli, o yudandi bona ba yuandi ki dɔddi.
and searched into, what time the Spirit of the Meshiha who dwelt in them showed and testified of the future sufferings of the Meshiha, and his glory which (should be) after them.
12 Li den dɔgdi ki waani ba ke lan ya bona ki tuodi ki legdi, ki ba tieni bani ya po ka, ama yinba ya po i, ke bi waani yi o laabaalŋamo, U Tienu Foŋanma yaama n ñani tanpoli paalu po, ke bá malekinba legdi, ke ban la yeni bi nunbu, ki bandi cain.
And all that they searched was revealed to them; for not for themselves they inquired, but to us (and) of us they prophesied those (blessings) which now are revealed to you by them who have preached to you by the Spirit of Holiness which is sent from heaven; for into these themselves the angels also desire to look.
13 Laniya po i, ke li buali ke yin ñagni yi ciamu a gbana, ki baa mi maalŋanm, ki ŋa ti japaadi, ki ya ye yeni li dandanli ki sedi taajalalie, ki guudi ya ŋanbli n ba cua yeni Jesu Kiristu dɔgdima
Wherefore gird up the loins of your minds, and be fully wakeful, and hope for the joy that cometh to you at the revelation of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha;
14 Yin ya tie nani ya bila n cɔlni yiko yeni, ki da togdi ya ŋalmanbuama ke yi den pia yin den tie yanbɔndanba ya yogu.
as obedient children, and not partaking again of the former desires which you desired when ignorant.
15 Nani yua n yini yi gagdi ki ŋani yeni, imo ń ya tie yaaba n gagdi ki ŋani i tuona nni kuli, nani lan diani maama:
But be holy in all your conversations, as he is holy who calleth you;
16 I baa tie yaaba n gagdi ki ŋani, kelima n gagdi ki ŋani.
because it is written, Be ye holy, as I also am holy.
17 Li ya tie ke i jaandi ki miadi i Báa yua bu ti buudi ke ti ŋua yuakuli yeni o tuona, kaa pia lugdima, yin ya ye yeni li fangli hali tiga ne i miali banlu.
And if you call him Father before whom there is no respect of persons, and who judgeth every man according to his works, with fear conduct you in this time of your sojourn;
18 Yin ya bani ke li ki tie yeni ya ŋalmani n ba dudi, lani yaa ka i ligi bii wula ka cedi U Tienu daa ki faabi yi yeni yin dini ya faali yi yaajanba fanfanma yenyienu po
while you know that not with silver which wasteth away, nor with gold, you have been redeemed from your vain works which you received from your fathers,
19 Ama yeni Kiristu sɔma yaama n pia mi buama boncianla, nani ya pabiga n ki pi biidi kaa go pia pɔdi yaama yeni.
but with the precious blood of the Lamb spotless and unblemished, who is the Meshiha;
20 Bi den tuodi ki lugdi o ke ŋanduna da ki tagi, ke li ti dɔgdi ki waani i ya po mi juodma yogu.
who was afore-separated for this from before the foundations of the world, and hath been manifested in these last times for you,
21 Wani ya tuona po i, ke i dugi U Tienu po, wani yua n yiedi Jesu bi tinkpiba siiga, ki puni o ti kpiagdi, ke i dudugdi yeni i dandanli ń ya maa U Tieni po.
who by him believe in Aloha, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and your hope may be in Aloha.
22 Nani yin ŋuudi i pala ki ŋɔdi i mɔmɔni, ki baa pia payenli buama yaama n ki pia jɔgindi yeni i, yin ya bua i lieba boncianla yeni i pali kuli.
Let your souls be sanctified in obedience to the truth, and be filled with the charity which respecteth not persons, that with a pure heart and perfect you may love one another,
23 Kelima i baa li miapaali, ke li naa ñani ya bonbuola n ba dudi kani ka, ama ya bonbuola n ki pia dudma kani; lani n tie U Tienu maama yaama fo, ki baa tundi ki ye hali ya yogu n ki pia gbenma. (aiōn g165)
as men who are regenerated, not by a perishable seed, but by that which is imperishable, by the living word of Aloha which abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
24 Kelima gbannandi kuli tie nani ku muagu yeni i, ke o kpiagdi kuli mo tie nani ku muapuugu yeni. Ku muagu ya kuodi, ku puugu mo ń baa;
Because all flesh is grass, and all its beauty as the flower of the field. The grass withereth and the flower drieth up,
