1 Korantien 9

1 Mii ye min bua maama ka? N k tie tondka kaa? Mii la ti diedo jesu? I ki tie n tiig luana kaa n diedo tuonli sanu nni?

Am not I an apostle? am not I free? Jesus Christ our Lord have I not seen? my work are not ye in the Lord?

2 N ya ke tie tondkaa bi niba kani, n gɔ ki tie i mɔa ya kani? K dugini yinma n tie n tondika tuonli siedanba ti diedo kani.

if to others I am not an apostle — yet doubtless to you I am; for the seal of my apostleship are ye in the Lord.

3 Yaabi n ŋua ke suli yeni, min ba bualiba yaal n ne:

My defence to those who examine me in this;

4 Tii pia u sanu tin je k gɔ ñuu?

have we not authority to eat and to drink?

5 Tii pia sanu yali kje tin kuani pua t jaandi lielo bonpuogaa nani t tondika liebi, nani Sefa yeni ii?

have we not authority a sister — a wife — to lead about, as also the other apostles, and the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

6 Bii min yeni Barnabas bebe k dagidi yeni tin da suani tuonli ki pugidi ii?

or only I and Barnabas, have we not authority — not to work?

7 U la sije n ba suani k k gaani paogu? Bii ŋma ba ŋu gi tiiga k kan mua li luanli i? Bii u naakpaali ki dagidi yeni wan ñu o nee biima i?

who doth serve as a soldier at his own charges at any time? who doth plant a vineyard, and of its fruit doth not eat? or who doth feed a flock, and of the milk of the flock doth not eat?

8 Min jiin yaali ne tie o nufosaali bama yaa? Li maama ki ye ti yikod n nnii?

According to man do I speak these things? or doth not also the law say these things?

9 Kelima li diani Moyis yiko tilin nni ki yedi: “a kan loli o nua yua n ko kpaabu ñɔbu “.

for in the law of Moses it hath been written, 'thou shalt not muzzle an ox treading out corn;' for the oxen doth God care?

10 O bua wan maadi o nua yua ke ti bani ne yaa? Li ki tie o nufosaalo po ka ko maadi ii? Li tie mɔni, li diani ti ya po yo, kelima yua ko u kpaabu kuli, ko yeni li dandanli, ke yua yendi mɔ gɔa guu o paogu mɔ i.

or because of us by all means doth He say [it]? yes, because of us it was written, because in hope ought the plower to plow, and he who is treading [ought] of his hope to partake in hope.

11 Ti ya buli mi tañumn nni bon bulkaali, li pia tagli yeni tin yendi tinga ne po ñuad yaa?

If we to you the spiritual things did sow — great [is it] if we your fleshly things do reap?

12 Nu tɔba ya pia yiko i po lan buali maama, tin ka bao ŋam k yeni ii? k ba di i ñuadi i? Ama tinba, t tuo li kuli, ke k bua tin tua tantudli jesu labamanli po.

if others do partake of the authority over you — not we more? but we did not use this authority, but all things we bear, that we may give no hindrance to the good news of the Christ.

13 I bani ke yabi n suani li jaandidielin ni gaani bi paogu lan kani bii?

Have ye not known that those working about the things of the temple — of the temple do eat, and those waiting at the altar — with the altar are partakers?

14 Utienu mɔno yedi, ke yabi n muandi o laabaali kuli, baa gaa li ñuadi.

so also did the Lord direct to those proclaiming the good news: of the good news to live.

15 Ama, min, n ke buali paogu po, n gɔa ke da ya tili ne ke yedi ke n ba buali paogu ka, n ya kpe mɔno li cie yeni min buoni n kpiagidi.

And I have used none of these things; neither did I write these things that it may be so done in my case, for [it is] good for me rather to die, than that any one may make my glorying void;

16 K dugini, li sua ke n muandi u ntienu laabamanli maama, la ke tie ke n bua n waani n yuli ka, yubonli n po n ke muandi li laabamanli.

for if I may proclaim good news, it is no glorying for me, for necessity is laid upon me, and woe is to me if I may not proclaim good news;

17 N ya suani yeni n pali kuli, n je li ñuadi, ama n ya suani lan buali maama, li nan tie n tuonli ke bi bilin nni.

for if willing I do this, I have a reward; and if unwillingly — with a stewardship I have been entrusted!

18 To, n ñuadi ji tie be yo? Li tie ke min muandi faala i li laabamanli, ke da buali paogu po.

What, then, is my reward? — that proclaiming good news, without charge I shall make the good news of the Christ, not to abuse my authority in the good news;

19 Lan ya po, mii gɔ pia maama yeni nilo, n ji tie yua kuli ya naaciemo i, lani tie min fidi ke ŋmagidi bi kuli ke ban bandi u tienu.

for being free from all men, to all men I made myself servant, that the more I might gain;

20 Juifnba nunga nni, n tie juif ke fidi ke ŋmagidi juifnba ke ban bandi u tienu. Yabi n suani yeni ti yikodi, n mɔ tieni nba nani n mɔ suani yeni ti yikodi yeni ke nan ki suani yeni ti yikodi, lan fidi min ŋmagidi boncianla ke guani yenbi u tienu sanu nni.

and I became to the Jews as a Jew, that Jews I might gain; to those under law as under law, that those under law I might gain;

21 Yabi n suani yeni ti yikodi mɔ n tieni b ba nani yabi ke suani yeni ti yikodi yeni, ama jesu ya yikodin, ki fidi ke baa yeni yabi ke bani u tienu ban bandi'o.

to those without law, as without law — (not being without law to God, but within law to Christ) — that I might gain those without law;

22 Mii den pia tuonli yeni yabi n ke pia mi tuama yeni, ke fidi ke ba yeni yabi n den ke pia tuama yeni ban bandi u tienu.

I became to the infirm as infirm, that the infirm I might gain; to all men I have become all things, that by all means I may save some.

23 N tieni bonli kuli ke lan fidi ko laabamanli n da biidi. Mɔla wani n ba fidi ki di li ñuadi.

And this I do because of the good news, that a fellow-partaker of it I may become;

24 I kie bani ke bi niba ya bigini li naataali( li nasanli) yua kuli tiini, ama ko yendi n ba paadi?

have ye not known that those running in a race — all indeed run, but one doth receive the prize? so run ye, that ye may obtain;

25 Li naataali daano bigindi oba yo ke gu li daali, ban gba ke ban gaa ya paogu yeni nan ke pia min pendima, ama, tinba wani, tin ke bani ke beli yaali tie, ya miali ke pia gbenma ya fegligi.

and every one who is striving, is in all things temperate; these, indeed, then, that a corruptible crown they may receive, but we an incorruptible;

26 Lan wani ii, mii gba pama ka.

I, therefore, thus run, not as uncertainly, thus I fight, as not beating air;

27 Ama n ye niini n gbanu i wan tua yonbo, lan fidi min da todi tɔba, ke ji luo n yaali.

but I chastise my body, and bring [it] into servitude, lest by any means, having preached to others — I myself may become disapproved.
