Offenbarung 3
1 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Sardes schreibe: Das sagt, Der die sieben Geister Gottes und die sieben Sterne hat: Ich weiß deine Werke, daß du den Namen hast, daß du lebst, und bist tot.
"And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: "He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things: "I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
2 Sei wachsam und mache fest, was übrig ist und sterben will; denn Ich habe deine Werke nicht voll gefunden vor Gott.
Wake up, and keep the things that remain, which were about to die, for I have found no works of yours perfected before my God.
3 Gedenke denn, wie du es empfangen und gehört hast, und halte es und tue Buße. Wenn du nun nicht wachest, so werde Ich über dich kommen, wie ein Dieb, und du wirst nicht erkennen, zu welcher Stunde Ich werde über dich kommen.
Remember therefore how you have received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If therefore you do not wake up, I will come as a thief, and you won't know what hour I will come to you.
4 Du hast auch in Sardes wenige Namen, die ihre Kleider nicht befleckten, und sie werden in weißen Kleidern mit Mir wandeln, weil sie es wert sind.
Nevertheless you have a few names in Sardis that did not defile their garments. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.
5 Wer überwindet, soll mit weißen Kleidern umkleidet werden; und Ich werde seinen Namen nicht auswischen aus dem Buche des Lebens, und werde seinen Namen bekennen vor Meinem Vater und vor Seinen Engeln.
He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the Book of Life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 Wer ein Ohr hat, der höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
7 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Philadelphia schreibe: Das sagt der Heilige, der Wahrhaftige, Der den Schlüssel Davids hat, Der auftut, und niemand verschließt, und verschließt, und niemand tut auf.
"To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: "These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens:
8 Ich weiß deine Werke. Siehe, Ich habe vor dir eine geöffnete Tür gegeben, und niemand kann sie verschließen, weil du eine kleine Kraft hast, und hast Mein Wort gehalten und Meinen Namen nicht verleugnet.
"I know your works. Look, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut. For you have a little power, and have kept my word, and did not deny my name.
9 Siehe, Ich will aus Satans Synagoge geben, die sagen, sie seien Juden, und sind es nicht, sondern lügen. Siehe, Ich will machen, daß sie kommen und vor deinen Füßen anbeten und erkennen, daß Ich dich geliebt habe.
Look, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but lie; look, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
10 Weil du das Wort Meiner Geduld behalten hast, will auch Ich dich behalten vor der Stunde der Versuchung, die über den ganzen Erdkreis kommen wird, zu versuchen, die auf Erden wohnen.
Because you kept my command to endure, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, which is to come on the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
11 Siehe, Ich komme schnell. Halte fest, was du hast, auf daß niemand deine Krone nehme.
I am coming quickly. Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown.
12 Den Überwinder will Ich zur Säule in Meines Gottes Tempel machen, und er soll nicht mehr hinausgehen, und Ich will auf ihn schreiben den Namen Meines Gottes und den Namen der Stadt Meines Gottes, des neuen Jerusalem, das aus dem Himmel von Meinem Gotte herabsteigt, und Meinen neuen Namen.
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
14 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Laodikia schreibe: Das sagt der Amen, der treue und wahrhaftige Zeuge, der Anfang der Schöpfung Gottes.
"To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: "The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Head of God's creation, says these things:
15 Ich weiß deine Werke, daß du weder kalt noch warm bist. Wärest du doch kalt oder warm.
"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot.
16 So aber, da du lau bist, und weder kalt noch warm, will Ich dich ausspeien aus Meinem Munde.
So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth.
17 Daß du sagst: Ich bin reich, und bin reich geworden, und bedarf nichts, und du weißt nicht, daß du elend und jämmerlich und arm und blind und nackend bist.
Because you say, 'I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;' and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked;
18 Ich rate dir, kaufe von Mir Gold, durch Feuer geläutert, auf daß du reich werdest, und weiße Kleider, auf daß du umkleidest werdest, und die Schande deiner Blöße nicht offenbar werde, und Augensalbe, deine Augen damit einzusalben, auf daß du sehen mögest.
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.
19 Wen Ich lieb habe, den rüge und züchtige Ich. Beeifre dich denn und tue Buße.
As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Siehe, Ich stehe an der Tür und klopfe an. So jemand Meine Stimme hört und die Tür auftut, zu dem gehe Ich ein und halte Abendmahl mit ihm und er mit Mir.
Look, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.
21 Dem Überwinder will Ich geben, auf Meinem Thron mit Mir zu sitzen, wie Ich überwunden und mit Meinem Vater auf Seinem Thron gesessen bin.
He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.
22 Wer ein Ohr hat, der höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
