Offenbarung 2
1 Dem Engel der Gemeinde in Ephesus schreibe: Das sagt, Der die sieben Sterne in Seiner Rechten festhält und in der Mitte der sieben goldenen Leuchter wandelt:
"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: "He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lampstands says these things:
2 Ich kenne deine Werke und dein Mühen und deine Geduld, und daß du die Bösen nicht tragen kannst und daß du hast geprüft die, so da sagen, sie seien Apostel, und es nicht sind, und hast sie als Lügner erfunden;
"I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false.
3 Und hast getragen und hast Geduld und hast um Meines Namens willen dich abgemüht und bist nicht müde geworden.
You have perseverance and have endured for my name's sake, and have not grown weary.
4 Aber Ich habe wider dich, daß du deine erste Liebe verlassen hast.
But I have this against you, that you left your first love.
5 Bedenke denn, wovon du abgefallen bist; und tue Buße und tue die ersten Werke; wo aber nicht, so komme Ich schnell über dich und rücke deinen Leuchter von seinem Ort, wenn du nicht Buße tust.
Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.
6 Doch hast du dies, daß du die Werke der Nikolaiten hassest, welche auch Ich hasse.
But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 Wer ein Ohr hat, der höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt: Dem Überwinder will Ich zu essen geben vom Baume des Lebens, der in der Mitte des Paradieses Gottes ist.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.
8 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Smyrna schreibe: Das sagt der Erste und der Letzte, Der tot ward und lebt:
"To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: "The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things:
9 Ich weiß deine Werke und die Trübsal und die Armut und die Lästerung derer, die da sagen, sie seien Juden, und sind keine, sondern eine Synagoge des Satans.
"I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
10 Fürchte dich vor deren keinem, das du leiden wirst. Siehe, der Teufel wird etliche von euch ins Gefängnis werfen, auf daß ihr versucht werdet; und ihr werdet Trübsal haben zehn Tage. Sei getreu bis zum Tod, und Ich will dir die Krone des Lebens geben.
Do not be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Look, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
11 Wer ein Ohr hat, der höre, was der Geist zu den Gemeinden sagt: Der Überwinder soll nicht geschädigt werden vom zweiten Tod.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes won't be harmed by the second death.
12 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Pergamus schreibe: Das sagt, Der das scharfe, zweischneidige Schwert hat.
"To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: "He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things:
13 Ich weiß deine Werke, und wo du wohnst, wo des Satans Thron ist; und du hältst fest an Meinem Namen und hast nicht verleugnet den Glauben an Mich auch in den Tagen, wo Antipas, Mein treuer Zeuge, bei euch, da Satan wohnt, getötet worden.
"I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas, my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
14 Aber Ich habe einiges wider dich: daß du daselbst hast, die an der Lehre Bileams festhalten, der den Balak lehrte, vor die Söhne Israels ein Ärgernis zu legen, daß sie Götzenopfer aßen und Buhlerei trieben.
But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
15 So hast auch du solche, die an der Lehre der Nikolaiten festhalten, was Ich hasse.
So you also have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans likewise.
16 Tue Buße, sonst aber komme Ich schnell zu dir, und streite wider sie mit dem Schwert Meines Mundes.
Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 Wer ein Ohr hat, der höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt: Dem Überwinder will Ich von dem verborgenen Manna zu essen geben und will ihm einen weißen Stein geben, und auf dem Stein einen neuen Namen geschrieben, den niemand erkennt, als der ihn empfängt.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it.
18 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde in Thyatira schreibe: Das sagt der Sohn Gottes, Der Augen hat wie eine Feuerflamme, und Füße ähnlich dem Glüherz.
"To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: "The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished bronze, says these things:
19 Ich weiß deine Werke, und deine Liebe, und deine Dienstleistung, und deinen Glauben, und deine Geduld, und deine Werke, und daß der letzten mehr sind als der ersten.
"I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.
20 Aber Ich habe einiges wider dich, daß du das Weib Jesabel, die da sagt, sie sei eine Prophetin, Meine Knechte lehren und zur Buhlerei und zum Essen von Götzenopfern irreführen lässest.
But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 Und Ich habe ihr Zeit gegeben, für ihre Buhlerei Buße zu tun, und sie hat nicht Buße getan.
I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
22 Siehe, Ich werfe sie in ein Bett, und in große Trübsal, die mit ihr die Ehe brechen, wenn sie nicht Buße tun von ihren Werken.
Look, I will throw her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works.
23 Und ihre Kinder will Ich mit dem Tode töten; und erkennen sollen alle Gemeinden, daß Ich es bin, Der Nieren und Herzen erforscht, und einem jeden von euch nach euren Werken geben werde.
I will kill her children with Death, and all the churches will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
24 Euch aber sage Ich und den übrigen in Thyatira, so viele als diese Lehre nicht haben, und welche die Tiefen des Satanas, wie sie es nennen, nicht erkannt haben, Ich will keine andere Last auf euch werfen.
But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as do not have this teaching, who do not know what some call 'the deep things of Satan,' to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you.
25 Doch was ihr habt, an dem haltet fest, bis daß Ich komme.
Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come.
26 Wer überwindet und hält Meine Werke bis ans Ende, dem will Ich Gewalt über die Völkerschaften geben.
He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
27 Und mit eisernem Stabe soll er sie weiden, und wie Töpfergeschirr sollen sie zerschlagen werden,
He will rule them with an iron scepter, shattering them like clay pots; as I also have received of my Father:
28 Wie auch Ich von Meinem Vater empfangen habe; und Ich werde ihm geben den Morgenstern.
and I will give him the morning star.
29 Wer ein Ohr hat, der höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
