1 Koenige 15

1 Im achtzehnten Jahr des Königs Jerobeam, des Sohnes Nebats, ward Abiam König in Juda,

Therfor in the eiytenthe yeer of the rewme of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, Abia regnede on Juda.

2 und regierte drei Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Maacha, eine Tochter Abisaloms.

Thre yeer he regnede in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Maacha, douyter of Abessalon.

3 Und er wandelte in allen Sünden seines Vaters, die er vor ihm getan hatte, und sein Herz war nicht rechtschaffen an dem HERRN, seinem Gott, wie das Herz seines Vaters David.

And he yede in alle the synnes of his fadir, which he dide bifor hym; and his herte was not perfit with his Lord God, as the herte of Dauid, his fadir, `was perfit.

4 Denn um Davids willen gab der HERR, sein Gott, ihm eine Leuchte zu Jerusalem, daß er seinen Sohn nach ihn erweckte und Jerusalem erhielt,

But for Dauid his Lord God yaf to hym a lanterne in Jerusalem, that he schulde reise his sone after hym, and that he schulde stonde in Jerusalem;

5 darum daß David getan hatte, was dem HERRN wohl gefiel, und nicht gewichen war von allem, was er ihm gebot sein Leben lang, außer dem Handel mit Uria, dem Hethiter.

for Dauid hadde do riytfulnesse in the iyen of the Lord, and hadde not bowid fro alle thingis whiche the Lord hadde comaundid to him, in alle the daies of his lijf, outakun the word of Urie Ethei.

6 Es war aber Krieg zwischen Rehabeam und Jerobeam sein Leben lang.

Netheles batel was bitwix Abia and Jeroboam, in al the tyme of his lijf.

7 Was aber mehr von Abiam zu sagen ist und alles, was er getan hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Juda's. Es war aber Krieg zwischen Abiam und Jerobeam.

Sotheli the residue of wordis of Abia, and alle thinges whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngys of Juda? And batel was bitwixe Abia and Jeroboam.

8 Und Abiam entschlief mit seinen Vätern, und sie begruben ihn in der Stadt Davids. Und Asa, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.

And Abia slepte with his fadris; and thei birieden hym in the citee of Dauid; and Asa, his sone, regnede for hym.

9 Im zwanzigsten Jahr des Königs Jerobeam über Israel ward Asa König in Juda,

Sotheli Asa, king of Jude, regnede in the twentithe yeer of Jeroboam, kyng of Israel;

10 und regierte einundvierzig Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Maacha, eine Tochter Abisaloms.

and Asa regnede oon and fourti yeer in Jerusalem. The name of his modir was Maacha, douyter of Abessalon.

11 Und Asa tat was dem HERRN wohl gefiel, wie sein Vater David,

And Asa dide riytfulnesse in the siyt of the Lord, as Dauid, his fadir, dide;

12 und tat die Hurer aus dem Lande und tat ab alle Götzen, die seine Väter gemacht hatten.

and he took awey fro the loond men of wymmens condiciouns, and he purgide alle the filthis of idols, whiche his fadris maden.

13 Dazu setzte er auch sein Mutter Maacha ab, daß sie nicht mehr Herrin war, weil sie ein Greuelbild gemacht hatte der Ascherah. Und Asa rottete aus ihr Greuelbild und verbrannte es am Bach Kidron.

Ferthermore and he remouyde Maacha, his modir, that sche schulde not be princesse in the solempne thingis of Priapus, and in his wode which sche hadde halewid; and he distriede the denne of hym, and he brak the foulest symylacre, and brente in the stronde of Cedron;

14 Aber die Höhen taten sie nicht ab. Doch war das Herz Asas rechtschaffen an dem HERRN sein Leben lang.

sotheli he dide not awei hiy thingis; netheles the herte of Asa was perfit with hys Lord God, in alle hise daies.

15 Und das Silber und Gold und Gefäß, das sein Vater geheiligt hatte, und was von ihm selbst geheiligt war, brachte er ein zum Hause des HERRN.

And he brouyte in to the hous of the Lord tho thingis, whiche his fadir hadde halewid and auowid, siluer, and gold, and vessel.

16 Und es war ein Streit zwischen Asa und Baesa, dem König Israels, ihr Leben lang.

Forsothe batel was bitwixe Asa and Baasa, kyng of Israel, in alle the daies of hem.

17 Basea aber, der König Israels, zog herauf wider Juda und baute Rama, daß niemand sollte aus und ein ziehen auf Asas Seite, des Königs Juda's.

And Baasa, kyng of Israel, stiede in to Juda, and bildide Rama, that no man of the part of Aza, kyng of Juda, myyte go out, ether go yn.

18 Da nahm Asa alles Silber und Gold, das übrig war im Schatz des Hauses des HERRN und im Schatz des Hauses des Königs, und gab's in seiner Knechte Hände und sandte sie zu Benhadad, dem Sohn Tabrimmons, des Sohnes Hesjons, dem König zu Syrien, der zu Damaskus wohnte, und ließ ihm sagen:

Therfor Asa took al the siluer and gold, that lefte in the tresouris of the hows of the Lord, and in the tresouris of the kyngis hows, and yaf it in to the hondis of hise seruauntis; and sente to Benadab, sone of Tabrennon, sone of Ozion, the kyng of Sirie, that dwellide in Damask, and seide,

19 Es ist ein Bund zwischen mir und dir und zwischen meinem Vater und deinem Vater; darum schicke ich dir ein Geschenk, Silber und Gold, daß du fahren lassest den Bund, den du mit Baesa, dem König Israels, hast, daß er von mir abziehe.

Boond of pees is bitwixe me and thee, and bitwixe my fadir and thi fadir, and therfor Y sente to thee yiftis, gold, and siluer; and Y axe, that thou come, and make voide the boond of pees, which thou hast with Baasa, kyng of Israel, and that he go awey fro me.

20 Benhadad gehorchte dem König Asa und sandte seine Hauptleute wider die Städte Israels und schlug Ijon und Dan und Abel-Beth-Maacha, das ganze Kinneroth samt dem Lande Naphthali.

Benadab assentide to kyng Asa, and sente the princes of his oost in to the citees of Israel; and thei smytiden Ahion, and Dan, and Abel, the hows of Maacha, and al Cenoroth, that is, al the lond of Neptalym.

21 Da das Baesa hörte, ließ er ab zu bauen Rama und zog wieder gen Thirza.

And whanne Baasa hadde herd this thing, he lefte to bilde Rama, and turnede ayen in to Thersa.

22 Der König Asa aber bot auf das ganze Juda, niemand ausgenommen, und sie nahmen die Steine und das Holz von Rama weg, womit Baesa gebaut hatte; und der König Asa baute damit Geba-Benjamin und Mizpa.

Forsothe kyng Asa sente message in to al Juda, and seide, No man be excusid. And thei token the stoonys of Rama, and the trees therof, bi whiche Baasa hadde bildid; and kyng Asa bildide of the same `stoonys and trees Gabaa of Beniamyn, and Maspha.

23 Was aber mehr von Asa zu sagen ist und alle seine Macht und alles, was er getan hat, und die Städte, die er gebaut hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Juda's. Nur war er in seinem Alter an seinen Füßen krank.

Sotheli the residue of alle wordis of Asa, and of al his strengthe, and alle thingis whiche he dide, and the citees whiche he bildide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of kingis of Juda? Netheles Asa hadde ache in feet, in the tyme of his eelde.

24 Und Asa entschlief mit seinen Vätern und ward begraben mit seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids, seines Vaters. Und Josaphat, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.

And Asa slepte with hise fadris, and he was biried with hem in the citee of Dauid, his fader; and Josophat, his sone, regnede for him.

25 Nadab aber, der Sohn Jerobeams, ward König über Israel im zweiten Jahr Asas, des Königs Juda's, und regierte über Israel zwei Jahre

Forsothe Nadab, the sone of Jeroboam, regnede on Israel, in the secunde yeer of Asa, king of Juda; and he regnede on Israel two yeer.

26 und tat, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, und wandelte in dem Wege seines Vaters und in seiner Sünde, durch die er Israel hatte sündigen gemacht.

And he dide that, that was yuel in the siyt of the Lord, and he yede in the weies of his fadir, and in the synnes of hym, in whiche he made Israel to do synne.

27 Aber Baesa, der Sohn Ahias, aus dem Hause Isaschar, machte einen Bund wider ihn und erschlug ihn zu Gibbethon, welches den Philistern gehört. Denn Nadab und das ganze Israel belagerten Gibbethon.

Forsothe Baasa, the sone of Ahia, of the hows of Ysachar, settide tresoun to hym, and smoot him in Gebethon, which is a citee of Filisteis; sothely Nadab and al Israel bisegiden Gebethon.

28 Also tötete ihn Baesa im dritten Jahr Asas, des Königs Juda's, und ward König an seiner Statt.

Therfor Baasa killide hym, in the thridde yeer of Asa, king of Juda, and regnede for hym.

29 Als er nun König war, schlug er das ganze Haus Jerobeam und ließ nichts übrig, was Odem hatte, von Jerobeam, bis er ihn vertilgte, nach dem Wort des HERRN, das er geredet hatte durch seinen Knecht Ahia von Silo

And whanne he hadde regnede, he smoot al the hows of Jeroboam; he lefte not sotheli not o man of his seed, til he dide awei hym, bi the word of the Lord, which he spak in the hond of his seruaunt, Ahia of Silo, a profete,

30 um der Sünden willen Jerobeam, die er tat und durch die er Israel sündigen machte, mit dem Reizen, durch das er den HERRN, den Gott Israels, erzürnte.

for the synnes of Jeroboam whiche he synnede, and in whiche he made Israel to do synne, and for the trespas, bi which he wraththide the Lord God of Israel.

31 Was aber mehr von Nadab zu sagen ist und alles, was er getan hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Israels.

Sotheli the residue of wordis of Nadab, and alle thingis whiche he wrouyte, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

32 Und es war Krieg zwischen Asa und Baesa, dem König Israels, ihr Leben lang.

And batel was bitwixe Asa and Baasa, kyng of Israel, in al the daies of hem.

33 Im dritten Jahr Asas, des Königs Juda's, ward Baesa, der Sohn Ahias, König über das ganze Israel zu Thirza vierundzwanzig Jahre;

In the thridde yeer of Asa, kyng of Juda, Baasa, sone of Ahia, regnede on al Israel, in Thersa, foure and twenti yeer.

34 und tat, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, und wandelte in dem Wege Jerobeams und in seiner Sünde, durch die er Israel hatte sündigen gemacht.

And he dide yuel bifor the Lord, and he yede in the weies of Jeroboam, and in hise synnes, bi whiche he made Israel to do synne.
